forced to leave your home. could you imagine that? what would you take in your bag? landlords and local council should compensate these taxpayers. but they are probably poor and can't afford to sue.

As an additional precaution, if you are the owner of a Hotpoint (Whirlpool) fridge freezer purchased between March 2006 and July 2009, check the model number, also be advised of this product notice. I don't recall seeing Hotpoint products on sale in Japan, all the same better safe than sorry.
Product Notice - Hotpoint Fridge Freezer.
*Model numbers FF175BP (white) and FF175BG (graphite).*

Whirlpool/Hotpoint tumble driers have been the cause of many fires in the UK for a couple of years now. Hotpoint are so slow chcking existing appliances owners have been told they have to wait two years for a check. An absolute scandal, and the only part of the media interested in The Daily Mirror, which is the only paper constantly having stories about these firs on it's front page.
