That's so sad. Poor Donald.

Trump team is resting its hopes on getting Republican-controlled legislatures in battleground states to set aside the results and declare Trump the winner...

And what country is this?

Good. Trump thinks they will conspire with him to undermine democracy.

This election democratic? Lol! But I do think Trump should pursue this until the end and then transition to a transfer and just continue to build no on his face and continue the momentum and plan for 2024

When in D.C. did they stay at the Trump International? Did they sup on Trump steaks and sip Trump wine?

Having been stung by a series of court defeats, the Trump team is resting its hopes on getting Republican-controlled legislatures in battleground states to set aside the results and declare Trump the winner, according to three people familiar with the plan.

Nothing but a clear, blatant attempt to subvert democracy and our Constitution...

Stop the Steal - indeed...

Insanity has been described as "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." (Einstein is often credited although there's no evidence he said it.)

It certainly applies in the case of Trump and his minions.

This election democratic? Lol!

It's called the will of the people. And the people chose Biden.

But I do think Trump should pursue this until the end...

Pursue what until the end? His temper tantrum of not admitting he lost? I don't expect anything different from a narcissistic sore loser, but he should aim for a modicum of dignity...

In the meantime his lawsuits have been thrown out and he is resorting to unlawfully trying to sway the electors in the states.

"This election democratic? Lol!"

Lol because black votes were counted in ? Interesting conception of democracy

Well, it's an established fact that there's nothing very democratic about US Presidential elections while some States get one Electoral College vote for every 200,00 or so people and others have to make do with one for every 700,000 people, and most States use the winner take all method of allocating the Electoral College votes so that you can end up with a President that most people didn't vote for. Yes, I know - "California and New York don't get to decide who's President, thank God" - well, guess what. Neither does Texas. The system screws over Republican voters in blue States as well but I don't suppose diehard GOP hacks care much about that when they win.

This:

"We have not yet been made aware of any information that would change the outcome of the election in Michigan and as legislative leaders, we will follow the law and follow the normal process regarding Michigan’s electors,"

Followed up by this:

"We used our time in the White House to deliver a letter to President Trump making clear our support for additional federal funds to help Michigan in the fight against COVID-19,"

Well played, Michigan. Well played.

Trump is a failure and becomes a one term president. By 2024 too old to run.

They've been saying that about Biden as well but I suspect that by then his brand will have been tarnished a lot by his refusal to concede this election, revelations about his finances and the outcomes of court cases. A lot of otherwise sane and reasonable people who support him now may well prefer someone else on the GOP ticket in 2024 - someone younger without a thumping election defeat string of bankruptcies and criminal convictions to his name.

Gee, it’s almost like people don’t think he is immune...

Another pathetic attempt to undermine democracy fails, I hope...

Bass4funk:. This election democratic?

This will probably be the most investigated election in the history of the US. If no fraud is proven, your confidence in democracy should increase, not decrease.

They shouldn’t have gone. They still won’t change their vote. Good on them.

Trump is flat-out trying to steal the election to keep from going to jail.

His supporters here are now arguing that democracy doesn’t count.

"Twitter said Friday it will hand control of the @POTUS account to the new Biden administration on Inauguration Day."

just continue to build no on his face

I agree bass4funk. Build more no on Trump’s face.

Fun facts: Wayne county voting was up 4%. Overall Michigan voting was up 15%.

And yet Trump didn’t challenge the vote anywhere but the place where African Americans make up 81% of the vote.

It leads a reasonable person to wonder if there is a racial component to this attempt to steal a free and fair election.

These Michigan Republicans set a terrible example for future generations by just going to the White House, especially when the election results were so resoundingly clear that Trump lost hands down there.

In the Reddest of States

Biden didn't win any of the reddest states. Georgia and Arizona have been moving closer to purple for the last decade. Demographic changes, younger, more urban, and more diverse. Michigan and Wisconsin used to be solidly blue, but have become more mixed of late. So Biden's wins in Georgia and Arizona may be slightly surprising, but they are not in themselves evidence of massive voter fraud. And there is no other evidence of massive fraud either.

Biden won Georgia, but the two GOP incumbent senators came out ahead in votes. You'd think that if Democrats rigged the election in Georgia, they would have rigged it for the Democratic senate challengers too.

But Not the SC that’s coming.

You're going to be greatly disappointed.

GOP starting to stand up to trump is encouraging!!!

2024 is a long way away, trump needs to figure out how to keep bankruptcy away in 2021.

Then there are the investigations........
