N Korea follows offer of talks with new projectile launches

The clock to the GSOMIA termination day is ticking.

Many of the latest missiles launched by North Korea appear to be new types designed to evade interception by U.S., South Korean and Japanese missile defense systems.

Yep. NK is using Trump as an opportunity to improve their short range missiles to hit US troops in South Korea and Japan.

All while Trump praises them.

Given how little Trump seems to understand about geopolitics and warfare, he's probably unaware of the so-called collateral damage that would be borne by Japanese and Korean civilians and troops.

I don't know why people can not see this. Every time US needs to increase price for their service or sell something preposterous to Japan and SK, NK become very active. NK is nothing but a bargaining chip for US.

There goes Japan yet again, launching missiles here, launching missiles there, launching missiles everywhere, a sure sign of its imperialist ambitions and unbridled aggression in that region.

Since no one else tests missiles ever, its very important for these paragons of journalistic integrity to keep reminding us every time North Korea does. Why can't they just blow up nukes around inhabited Pacific islands like the French?

Kim is just fishing for something new but will Trump take the bite. Fired two new missiles, probably short range like a salvo across the bow.

"Salvos across the bow?" Not a real smart move, kind of like a rabbit kicking a lion in the nose, an annoyance at best. NK is not a threat to the US in any real shape or form.

If Kim ever decided to launch a nuke against Japan or the US, I do believe Trump would attempt to turn NK into a parking lot. Fukushima would be safer to live in than NK.

The corporate propaganda media does not want their readers to understand that this is simply political theater. The childish reporting on NK is so shallow it is ridiculous.

Strictly on this, I'm glad Trump doesn't find it necessary to comment on every pistol shot from NK.

Japan itself, like many countries, being an arms trader, must be doing lots of R&D's and testing on them before marketing. We hear nothing about it, just like we hear nothing about testing of arms in Serbia, Sweden , Germany etc.

Comparatively, NKs arms industry is a pale shadow to most of these countries.

Probably because there aren't UN sanction in place prohibiting from test firing missiles. So there wouldn't be any story.

Even Trump fans have given up on him doing anything about NK.
