Soaring U.S. coronavirus cases, hospitalizations overshadow July 4 celebrations

I love it how people try to move the goal posts to make Trump NOT look like the cowering moron he so clearly is. They seem to leave out a few small facts: Florida, population 22 million has had 10,000 cases a day for 3 of the last 4 days. The EU, population 446 million has been averaging around 5,000 cases a day. The United States has blown way past a sustained rate of 50,000 cases a day.

Look at the curve for every nation that took this seriously and compare it with the US curve. It didn't have to be like this and it is the responsibility of one guy, Trump.

This is what failure looks like and that is not in doubt.

Reading our media stories, I must say this is a really smart virus. It springs out of the ground and into action when people gather to protest lockdowns or celebrate July 4. And it completely disappears when people gather to protests BLM and loot shops. What a smart virus! Does it have AI?

In the first four days of July alone, 15 states have reported record increases in new cases of COVID-19, which has infected nearly 3 million Americans and killed about 130,000, according to a Reuters tally.

This pandemic is a war - we need leadership and a coordinated federal government full-press response to turn this tragedy around.

Between 500 and 800 Americans are dying each day - think about that.... If yesterday ISIS or the Taliban attacked one of our forward bases in Iraq or Afghanistan, and killed 800 of our soldiers, what would we be doing? What if they did that every day for 4 months?

What our so-called "wartime" President is doing is playing golf, spreading the virus by holding unsafe rallies, and hiding in a bunker...

1640 people died of corona week of 20 June. For that to be 1% death rate of the tests done, what is the most number of tests that could have been done? 164,000 tests.

1640/3 million (on low end) equals......a lot less than 1 percent, would have needed to be 30,000 deaths from even 3 million tests.

Not all of them will. Some of them definitely will. That’s actually besides the point. Point is confirmed cases in the US aren’t at 3 million yet. Trump is saying %99 have no trouble. To get that figure then confirmed cases have to be over 13,000,000. So Trump is spreading fake news. Again.

Funny that the media focuses on the worries of crowds gathering for Memorial Day and 4th of July but had very little to say when hundreds of thousands were protesting shoulder to shoulder for days on end.
