Agreed. Liberals could care less about the constitution or the President, but then if they’re in power, obstructing them will give you the political death penalty as well as being unpatriotic and treasonous. Liberal rationalization at its worst.
SuperLib
Liberals aren't demanding a list for any investigation. This situation is strictly limited to conservatives for things they're being investigated for.
Same with judges. If Trump loses, we get updates on the judge's voting records and social media. If he wins, it's assumed the judge has no bias and no investigation is necessary.
gkamburoff
What is Trump going to think of the court system when it goes after him?
gkamburoff
What a bunch of whiners!!
Texas A&M Aggie
This will get overurned by the SCOTUS.
Congress needs to impeach these out-of-control Federal judges who have proven over and over that they do not understand the Constitution and relocate the 9th Circuit Court to Montana. . . .

Katsu: Astute analysis. Liberals, however, are evil by default. They can't keep their bias out of anything, unlike conservatives. Why is that? Bevause they are evil.
katsu78
It's a bit like Sartre on antisemitism. The modern conservative doesn't have a problem with bias, they just object to bias against them. For them, the problem isn't so much the bias as it is the assumption that anyone who isn't a conservative is by default a poor-quality person. But they know that most everyone else who is from the center-left values fairness and impartiality. So amongst themselves they attack their opponents as liberals (assumed to be by default evil), but in mixed company claim their opponents to be biased.
It's a rhetorical trick for dividing their critics with claims to a moral standard they have no intention whatsoever of holding themselves to.
Tommy Jones
Funny how SCOTUS is majority conservative but conservatives never question a ruling in their favor as being biased because of the justices politics, yet scream about Mueller's team being biased. Hmmm . . .

Yes, has nothing to do with being partisan, I’m a very warm and kind person.
Jimizo
Bass, for a non-partisan who likes to take a cold, logical look at things, your approach is very ‘us and them’.
bass4funk
Not at all, but it’s a waste of time when liberals only accept liberal sources as pure fact, a lot....often....ok, always.
Yes, we sure will. Lol
No, just being patient and watch the ruling get body slammed by the SC and yes, I think it’s fair just as the libs think the lower lib courts are fair. Eye for an eye..
plasticmonkey
Why? Because you believe the conservative majority on the SC is a fair and impartial arbiter of legal conflicts at the constitutional level, or because you believe the conservative majority is on Team Trump and is going to bodyslam the lower court's ruling?
katsu78
You guys always look down on my people. That's okay, we'll have the last laugh in 2018.
Strangerland
Oh, so Democrats have to provide sources while Republicans can make things up in their MSM posting fake news? Don't even go their homie ROFL.
bass4funk
Ok, so no sources. Mirage....lol
Strangerland
He provided the source above, follow the link he posted.
bass4funk
Let's make it simple, I believe the SC will not uphold the 9th circuits ruling.
Oh, dear lord, who are these alleged sources?
katsu78
"Inside White House sources then reported Trump shouted "I never get what I want!" before locking himself alone in the Oval Office and reportedly blasting loud noises through the tv speaker in the room. Reports differ as to what exactly Trump was playing at a loud volume: some White House staffers reporting "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down" being played at full volume while others report the sound of gorillas and Trump cheering. Nonetheless, after 10 minutes of Trump's self-isolation, the chime for his Diet Coke call button began ringing repeatedly. According to one anonymous source, this is often how Trump signals he's ready to come out of his room."
Strangerland
Which is it, do you not believe it at all, or would it not surprise you? These are contradictory statements.
bass4funk
I don’t believe that at all, but the 9th circuit, Yeah, they never surprise me.
Strangerland
Oops. Probably be upheld.
Strangerland
It'll go to the Supreme Court and probably get held up, so you should be worried.
bass4funk
Well, it doesn’t matter, it’ll go to the Supreme Court and probably get overturned, so I’m not worried.
Now you know how I felt the last 8 years, messed up, huh?
Strangerland
That's what little Bush would have said. Contrast that to Trump's comments:
The leader of the US doesn't even respect his own country's constitution.
bass4funk
Who cares? We need to be patient and just wait for this to go to the Supreme Court.
Strangerland
Even little Bush had respect for the court system. I can't remember what it was specifically, but the courts ruled against him on something, and in an interview he talked about being disappointed and not agreeing with the courts, but respecting their decision and the structure of the law in America.
Who would have thought 8 years ago that we would be using little Bush as an example of how a president should behave!
CrazyJoe
Thank you Judge Alsup for wading through the chaotic mire and muck that is trump's "thought process" and his administration's irrational defense.
We are lucky that Benedict Donald is such an ***** moron. If the Evil Fascist Dotard wasn't such an incompetent idiot, his anti-American efforts would truly be dangerous.
Tommy Jones
Trumo's knee-jerk reaction is to attack whomever or whatever does not allow him to have his way. Very sophisticated.
It is a sad day when the president denigrates institutions that form the bedrock of the US democracy instead of trusting that following the proper procedures will correct any mistakes.
Before you start mouthing off about how incorrect this ruling was, do yourself a favor and limit your comments to what was the judge ruled: that enforcement of Trump's EO should wait until the various court challenges have been resolved. And that, my fellow posters, is exactly the rule of law.
