Nobody fights this hard to keep anything private unless there is something to hide. It may be as simple as Trump not being a billionaire, or as bad as him being up to his ears in debt to a foreign entity.

More likely some combination of understating income (tax fraud) and overstating the value of properties (real estate and/or securities fraud). Loans from abroad could look bad depending upon who lent the money but wouldn't necessarily be illegal.

What's Trump hiding this time? Who besides himself and his family among others in the US is he trying so hard to protect. I wonder if there is a medical term for fear of Novichok.

No, loans from abroad wouldn’t necessarily be illegal. They could shed light on Trump’s actions in relations to foreign countries though.

Bingo.

Might even be a few things in there nobody has even thought of.

Oh for crying out loud! Release the **** tax records already. This is beyond ridiculous.

This is how somebody who has nothing to hide behaves, right?

Also, one of the reasons Trump has been loading the courts with his loyalists...

Oh for crying out loud, stop the obsession with Trump's tax records. We've got far more pressing concerns. This is beyond ridiculous.

He sure wants to hide those taxes.

He sure wants to hide those taxes.

The Dems sure want to see those taxes instead of focusing on the problems the country faces.

I wonder how Pelosi, Waters, Schumer, Nadler and Schiff would react if they were told to turn over 25 years of taxes? Methinks they wouldn't be happy at all about it, NOT one little bit.

Russian oligarch loans funneled through Deutsche Bank, just as Don Jr and Eric admitted to in 2014; "We get all the money we need from Russia"...

Fraudulently devalued property assessments....loan and tax fraud....

More payoffs to porn stars and hookers....

Who knows what else...

Oh for crying out loud, stop the obsession with Trump's tax records.

Because Trump is the first president and presidential nominee who has refused to release his tax returns. Why? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that something must be fishy about his taxes. He must be hiding something.

Wasnt Barack Obama the President for at least 4 of these years?

do you really think the Trump tax returns havent already been seen by him and others? Were they not reviewed by the IRS every year when submitted?

obtain eight years of business and personal tax returns from the Republican president's longtime accounting firm Mazars USA.

Methinks they wouldn't be happy at all about it, NOT one little bit.

Former presidents Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc. have all released their tax returns. Does being a former slumlord who doesn't pay his employees, many of whom are illegal immigrants, make him exempt from releasing his taxes?

The Dems sure want to see those taxes instead of focusing on the problems the country faces.

The fact that we have a POTUS is working this hard to prevent his tax returns from becoming available IS a problem that the country is facing. Four years ago he refused to make them public, claiming they were still in audit and that he would make them public when they became available. He lied.

What is it that he wants to hide so bad, that he is much poorer than he claims or that he is a criminal.

We’ve known about both for a long time.

You are basically saying you know something, yet also claiming he is hiding the only proof of what you "know" by not releasing his taxes. So you actually dont know, right?

We’ve known about both for a long time.

Most of the trump businesses will declare bankruptcy by early 2021, the presidency is what supports them right now.

Releasing his tax returns will accelerate that process, that’s what trump wants a few extra months of the illusion of richness!!!
