Lawyers and judges who are not scared off by Trump's unfounded allegations of bias will do this country a great service.

As we have maintained throughout, all of the money raised by the Foundation went to charitable causes to assist those most in need. As a result, we remain confident in the ultimate outcome of these proceedings

Trump used it to buy paintings and statues of himself.

This is how deluded the right are - they think Trump is one of those 'most in need' of assistance.

"The Trump Foundation functioned as little more than a checkbook to serve Mr. Trump's business and political interests,"

Little different from how Trump's using the White House.

With regard to Trump and his family using the White House for their financial gain, the best way for Trump to defend himself to the American people, even the minority of Americans who still believe anything he says, is for Trump to release his most current tax info.

Trump's armies of lawyers and accountants have had sufficient time to cover anything that might look suspicious; they should be ready by now to show from where he's received money and in which industries he's invested.

As Burning Bush said this other:

”Finally some accountability”

Yeah, well, you'll have court time to document that. Good luck!

Trump twitted:

I won’t settle this case!

as if he has a choice. He's being sued by the NYAG. He can't buy himself out of this.

I wonder if subpoenaing his tax records will be the first thing the new House does in January.

Then we can finally see who owns him.

Underwood sued Trump and his adult children Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka on June 14, after a 21-month probe that she said uncovered "extensive unlawful political coordination" between the foundation and Trump's campaign.

Disgusting - I thought Trump supporters were tired of the Washington swamp where everyone is double dealing under the table and stuffing their pockets with money. Trump and his cronies have just raised it to a new level.

The lawsuit alleged, among other things, that Trump wrongly ceded control to his campaign of about $2.8 million donated to the foundation in a 2016 Iowa fundraiser for military veterans.

Stiffing veterans - another in a long line of examples where Trump denigrates and insults out military...

Other challenged expenses included $100,000 to settle a dispute involving Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, and $10,000 for a portrait of Trump that was later hung at one of his golf clubs.

He is so insecure, he uses charitable money to buy $10K portraits of himself - what a sleaze...

As we've seen time and time again, we have a spoiled two year old as President. Send this idiot back to his reality TV show and let's get someone with integrity and honesty in the White House.

In 2024 you’ll get your wish.

In 2024 you’ll get your wish.

Think it will be a little sooner that that - remember, the Chairman of the Trump Foundation is cooperating with NY Prosecutors and Robert Mueller...

He took charity money and use it for his business. And he has billions of dollars.

Not until 2024? Is that an admission that there isn't someone with integrity and honesty in the White House at the moment?

And he has billions of dollars.

Or so he likes to make out.

He has used Twitter to call Underwood's lawsuit a concoction by "sleazy New York Democrats,"

I have seen zero evidence to suggest that Underwood is "sleazy". Trump, on the other hand . . .

Democrat judge.

Is everything in your universe partisan?

Is everything in your universe partisan?

“If your society divides into two groups of people who are culturally opposed to each other, who don’t talk to each other, listen to each other or like each other, at what point do they decide that the other group is actually delegitimised? That’s the risk. At what point do you say … and you can see some elements of this in American politics today … at what point do you say that these people shouldn’t govern, they don’t actually have the right to govern?”

God help me, that was Tony Blair recently.

Yes everything is partisan in the justice system.

Chuck Schumer called Roberts a partisan judge. Then in the next sentence thanked him for standing up against Trump’s saying.....that judges are partisan.

You can’t make this up.

Yes everything is partisan [now].

Because we cannot agree on facts anymore, everything has become partisan. It's an unfortunate sign of decline.

Allegedly.

Can't wait to see his tax returns next year!

Yes, Trump is so clean that he has to manipulate and destroy the rather effective law and judicial system of the US to prove his innocence! Cult 45'ers know their god emperor is pure of heart and mind!

If him and his nepotism are found guilty on a state level charge, he'll be in for a treat once he's out of office... hopefully very hard on his rear end.
