The Trump presidency is nothing but a cesspool. He's losing big against China, so he's playing the bully with Venezuela.

The Trump presidency can not end soon enough.

diplomatic and sanctions drive aimed at removing socialist President Nicolas Maduro from power.

How are regime changes in Iraq and Libya working out for their respective peoples? The globe's oil corporations and their financial backers have benefitted in both places, as have the big war industries. Not the 99%.

China and Russia are also complicit.

Conserve energy. Find ways to burn lower amounts of oil and gas. Or else expect regime changes and wars for oil to continue.

Trump has lost my support, instead of making America great again, its making things worse at home and abroad. The currency manipulation is clearly visible with no one doing anything about it. The trade deals he makes are wind in the air, whispered many times over the years but not materializing. The so called paper trade war is also failing as Chinese goods come into the country via different trade agreements in place or shipping/trade means. Either way the only idiots are those who pay attention to WallStreet crooks who later eat and party down NY blvd for the mass of amounts of wealth in their bank accounts.

"Quick! How can we distract from the fact that the shooters all quote me in their manifestos and everyone knows I'm a racist and white-supremacist?!"

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Doesn’t erase all the other parts. But maybe it’s a move in the right direction.

I've felt that way with a few things he's done over his presidency.

But then he goes and ruins it all within a few days, by making some comment that completely removes any reasonable thing he has said.

The US is not trying to destroy anyone

Bwaaa haaaa haaa haaa. Good one. Your boss threatened to wipe Afghanistan off the map only the other week. Previously it was the DPRK in his sights but now him and Kim are besties, so all bets are off.

Lol! The UN cant even agree on as a collective body to what the definition of terrorism is.

Like people who cannot bring themselves to call people like Cesar Sayoc and the El Paso murderer terrorists?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Pls stop playing god ,trump.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

so then all the liberals here support Trump's actions in freezing Venezuelan assets?

I can't speak for all the liberals here. But I do think he's interfering in another country's affairs, sure.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

just came here to see how the liberals would be able to justify supporting a socialist dictator over Trump.

You'd have to ask a liberal. I don't see anyone actively supporting the Maduro regime. Still, thanks for your virtual signalling and taking time to tell us your concerns.

@serrano We finally have a president who won't stand for that any more.

How will Trump's dealings with China affect the sales of his brand name there as well as Ivanka Inc. and her 'trademarks'?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Trump has 2 modes: appeaser or antagonizer.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Madverts;

By a so-called "democratic dictator" that wants to rule the world.

I would have thought that the term "dictator" would equally apply to a nation that constantly topples other governments, constantly invades other countries, constantly conducts economic wars on other nations... Does this remind you of the US?

Perhaps the US should concentrate on solving its mass shooting problems before showing so much FAKE concern about citizens of other nations.

How much longer is the world going to tolerate US dictatorship?

Who much more suffering is the globe going to allow the US to instigate?

Currently the US is at war either militarily or economically with a dozen countries and the world stands by and does nothing. When will the so-called Western Powers (aka the Western Wimps) get a backbone?

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

@rgcivilian1

I am a Trump non supporter. However, this week has seen a much different Trump than I’ve ever seen. He seems Presidential.

Even how he responded to the mass shooting that happened the other day. His first time publicly condemning white supremacy and racism.

Also, this is a move that hits the migrant plight at the source instead of trying to force other people to deal with it.

Doesn’t erase all the other parts. But maybe it’s a move in the right direction.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

And, following your logic, is it ok for the rest of the world to deal with the US and the threat it poses to global stability?

The US is not trying to destroy anyone, but Maduro has to go, even the Brazilian President supports that effort, if we can help the people and obviously they want Maduro gone, then by all means as the sole superpower we should and we don’t have to drop a single bomb or kill anyone to do that.

At the very least, can we send in UN monitors?

Lol! The UN cant even agree on as a collective body to what the definition of terrorism is.

economic and diplomatic pressure campaign aimed at removing socialist President Nicolas Maduro from power.

Socialist dictator from power....

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

@serrano We finally have a president who won't stand for that any more.

How will Trump's dealings with China affect the sales of his brand name there as well as Ivanka Inc. and her 'trademarks'?

What, we can't do any business in China now?

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

so then all the liberals here support Trump's actions in freezing Venezuelan assets?

None of you can stop talking about Trump with your attacks, buzz words and Dem talking points long enough to address his actions.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Your boss threatened to wipe Afghanistan off the map only the other week.

But it’s still there, saying something and putting it into action are two different things. Lol, but nice try.

Previously it was the DPRK in his sights but now him and Kim are besties, so all bets are off.

Except for the sanctions that are still in place.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

So do you or do you not support the policy of freezing the Venezuelan assets?

I support it. How hard was that?

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

The Trump presidency is nothing but a cesspool. He's losing big against China

We've been losing big to China for decades, Crazy. We finally have a president who won't stand for that any more. You want more of the same, vote for Biden or whoever the Democrats nominate. You won't get it though, as enough Americans in enough states have also had enough of the same. That's why Trump got elected.

The Trump presidency can not end soon enough.

Jan 20, 2025 soon enough?

By a so-called "democratic dictator" that wants to rule the world.

No, he’s trying to stay away from the rest of the world and just when he thought he wa out, they pull him back in.

I would have thought that the term "dictator" would equally apply to a nation that constantly topples other governments,

Not true.

constantly invades other countries, constantly conducts economic wars on other nations... Does this remind you of the US?

If there are other countries that threaten us or impede our national interest as in most countries you deal with them, you deal with your adversaries and will like other countries to do so, diplomatically, socially and militarily.

Perhaps the US should concentrate on solving its mass shooting problems before showing so much FAKE concern about citizens of other nations.

We can walk and chew gum at the same time.

just came here to see how the liberals would be able to justify supporting a socialist dictator over Trump. Or avoid the topic all together and get their Trump attacks in for the day.

saw what I came for.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

The Trump presidency is nothing but a cesspool.

As compared to what? The warmongering globalists that preceded him? To quote another poster, how are Clintons and Bushes regime changes in Iraq and Libya working out for their respective peoples?

He's losing big against China,

Time will tell. Fundamentally, China is on the losing side here. But with the ongoing troubles in Hongkong, of course the regime is motivated to direct attention to a foreign enemy.

so he's playing the bully with Venezuela.

I disagree with the Venezuela decision too. Looks like the deep state got to him here.

The Trump presidency can not end soon enough.

....and then what? Back to the same globalist warmongers you had before? Seriously?
