What a lovely group of people.

If Trump is clean, why are so many people he surrounds himself with filthy?

Some will claim this is nothing new or specific to Trump. To those people, I say if that were true, those other people and their people would have been in the news.

Trump's swamp keeps getting murkier.

The Trump-Kushner syndicate (Lock them up!) have more family problems than the Sopranos. (RIP James Gandolfini. Sorry for associating you in any way with Cadet Spanky.)

Bets on when a TV mini-series based on the lives of the Trump-Kushners first airs?

POTUS is sure gonna miss Cohen, he is the absolute BEST lawyer in the nation defending against Playboy Bunnies, Pornstars, and Russian PP Hookers.

Ladies and Gentlemen; the Party of Personal Responsibility!

Nail them all with any illegal activities. Bring the proof.

I don't think republican representatives have any moral high ground over democrats. Seems many politicians, don't display the morals consistent with those of the people they represent.

We just expect this behavior from democrats and think it is hypocrisy when a republican politician does the same thing.

Tommy Jones: because DT has buffers. Fall guys that he promised to pardon if convicted. That is the reason he is “clean”.

Ok, so now what? Cohen gets indicted and Trump pardons him and then what?

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

Ok, so now what? Cohen gets indicted and Trump pardons him and then what? Trumps dirty laundry gets exposed for all to see, then the mid term elections come around. LOL

This wouldn’t be a leak of attorney/client documents from the FBI raid, would it? We were told such a thing wouldn’t happen.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

There's way too much real stuff going on in the world to focus on this kind of crap. It's like the American media has devolved into a bunch of scandal rag sheets. I could really care less about who is screwing whom in Washington.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Cohen cannot be pardoned. He was arrested by the state AG, not federal. His goose is cooked.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

i wonder if Cohen is really loyal to Trump or hell give up information for a more lenient sentence. LOL

Don't worry, the only illegal actions legal experts seem to be worried about are Trump's. The investigation is on the up and up as of now.

Ok, so now what? Cohen gets indicted and Trump pardons him and then what?

You're bragging about the president's gross abuse of his pardoning power?

Wrong. Anyone who has been following this story knows Robert Mueller handed over Cohen's case to the SDNY office; thus, making it a federal (not a state) crime. As such, President Trump has the legal authority under our Constition to grant a presidential pardon if he chooses to do so. . . . .

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

No such thing as abuse of pardon power as there or no criteria to be met for it.

Well at least I that’s what was told when the last guy pardoned drug traffickers and dealers, fraudsters, conspirators, traitors and terrorists.

No such thing as abuse of pardon power as there or no criteria to be met for it.

Maybe not in a legal sense, but name another president whose criteria for pardons was so blatantly obstruction of justice in the hopes of saving his own ass.

Blacklabel: not seeing a problem is probably the saddest part...

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Trump and his supporters probably think it's legal for Trump to pardon himself! Sorry guys, that ain't an option.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

@mrbum when George W Bush pardoned Caspar Weinbarger in 1992. The last guy would have had to pardon people too but he protected them using his FBI and DOJ to prevent them from getting indicted in the first place. Anyone even close to Hillary got immunity and their laptops destroyed by the FBI.

Trump hasn’t pardoned anyone and the only ones he should pardon are people who get screwed by biased investigators or by investigators making up stuff to pressure their families or bankrupt them into implicating Trump. People who actually commit proven crimes won’t be pardoned.

@wipeout nice speculation but Rosenstein said yesterday there are legitimate reasons for Comey’s firing unrelated to this Russia nonsense. He would know as he signed a letter asking Trump for the firing of his subordinate.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

@Blacklabel

Trump just pardoned Scooter Libby, who was convicted of obstruction of justice by lying to the FBI. Gee, you think he might be sending a message to anyone being questioned right now? “I’ll pardon you, so lie to save my ass.”

Why else would he drag out such an old case that no one, including Trump, had any reason to care about till now?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

wipeout: "And of course, Trump's own words in a sit-down interview on national television"

Oh, wipeout! You know Trumpers don't listen to or believe in reality.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Black: but Rosenstein said yesterday there are legitimate reasons for Comey’s firing unrelated to this Russia nonsense. He would know as he signed a letter asking Trump for the firing of his subordinate.

Is Rosenstein in on your conspiracy theory involving people taking down Trump because they don’t like him?

$1.6 milion is too much. It is not for Trump.

GOP financial committee chairman was forced to resign. What kind of scandal he has?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

There may be more politicians whom Cohen rescued. He may be Trump's personal attorney but he is behaving rescue attorney for Republican Party. I think he collect money from guilty extremely wealthy person to female victim to hush up.

As such, President Trump has the legal authority under our Constition to grant a presidential pardon if he chooses to do so. . . . . pardon or not once Mueller uncovers Trumps dirty secrets no number of pardons will undo the damage to Trumps image, cant pardon away exposed evidence. then the mid term elections come around. those one or two extra Dem congress seats are looking more likely than unlikely. LOL
