If the democrat had won Trump would have shouted"Fake elections" and demanded a second, third.....recount.

25 ( +26 / -1 )

A full count of all legal ballots is required, following the state laws.

Nothing more. Nothing less.

Calling for anything else is anti-American.

28 ( +29 / -1 )

The recount is doing noting by sowing more division in American society.

Nope. The recount is democracy in action. Why do you hate democracy?

Time to call an end to all this. The election is over.

The election is over once there has been a proper tallying of all the ballots.

The only reason Trump is calling for a halt to the recounts is because repugs leads are dwindling. Trump's supporters wil be along shortly to parrot Trump's call to bastardized the democratic process because they only care about winning and not our country.

23 ( +24 / -1 )

What we witnessed was a relatively normal midterm election in which the party holding the White House lost a number of seats in the House.

But recall two years ago after Trump’s unexpected victory. Then the cry was about a stolen election, Russian collusion, the need to rewrite the Constitution to banish the Electoral College, and the threat of an authoritarian coup.

“If You’re Not Scared About Fascism in the US, You Should Be,” declared a headline in the New York Times.

I guess democracy works, at least when democrats win.

-23 ( +4 / -27 )

I guess democracy works, at least when democrats win.

Have a little intellectual honesty. Democracy wins when the process is untainted and carried out to its conclusion.

23 ( +26 / -3 )

The recount is perfectly legal. In fact, it's required.

Those who are against it are no friends of democracy, or the people of America.

22 ( +24 / -2 )

Democrats win when they find out how many votes they need first and then find that many votes.

They “found” 5000 votes in Georgia. Somehow 90% of those were for the Dem. has there been even one case or time where found votes were 50/50?

-26 ( +2 / -28 )

A lawsuit was filed saying its unconstitutional to require the signature on the mail in ballot to match the signature on file. Dems objected to the vote of a non citizen being thrown out. Somehow Dens are still voting a week after the election was over.

-25 ( +3 / -28 )

Tell that to Bernie Sanders.

recall two years ago after Trump’s unexpected victory. Then the cry was about a stolen election, Russian collusion, the need to rewrite the Constitution to banish the Electoral College, and the threat of an authoritarian coup.

Democrats have never disputed the results of the 2016 election. The investigation into Russian interference is a different matter, and should continue. Stick to the issue.

Scott and Trump are calling the recount, which is required under Florida law, fraudulent. They offer no evidence. That is appallingly damaging to people's trust in elections, and is a tactic often employed by autocrats.

They “found” 5000 votes in Georgia.

False. Votes were not "found", they were counted later than others. Counting all votes always takes time, in some cases extending into months. Some are absentee ballots, some are provisional ballots. This time lag is only made evident to the public when an election is very close. That is a fact. As is Brian Kemp's attempt to suppress voter registration in the state where he will most likely be governor.

There is no evidence anywhere of manipulation of counts. Period.

Funny, Broward county just magically find a bag full of uncounted ballads. Yeah, I believe it. The Senate and the Governors race simultaneously? Uh-huh...lol

-22 ( +2 / -24 )

Trump is showing his little dictator side more and more lately.  I guess that's what happens when you find out so many people despise you.

15 ( +16 / -1 )

Funny, Broward county just magically find a bag full of uncounted ballads. Yeah, I believe it. The Senate and the Governors race simultaneously? Uh-huh...lol

Why don't you do a little basic research on the complexity of counting "ballads" and the time it takes to do so before insinuating some ridiculous conspiracy theory.

17 ( +18 / -1 )

Tell that to Bernie Sanders.

I just phoned Bernie. He said he agrees and that his situation has nothing to do with this situation because there are no laws governing the primary process. He also said he'd appreciate it if conservatives stopped pushing falsehoods.

11 ( +14 / -3 )

Why don't you do a little basic research on the complexity of counting "ballads" and the time it takes to do so before insinuating some ridiculous conspiracy theory.

I did and we have been through this so many times with THAT county since 2000. I’m sure after this recount they will do what they can to get rid of this woman. There is no way she can stay there in between her position and have these kinds of shenanigans happen every single time, what’s the caption we don’t know, but we can say without a shadow of a doubt there has been a lot of incompetency in that County phone all the major elections to the Parkland shooting and with the incompetent sheriff of that county.

-17 ( +3 / -20 )

Funny, Broward county just magically find a bag full of uncounted ballads. Yeah, I believe it. The Senate and the Governors race simultaneously? Uh-huh...lol

The conspiracy theories from the right just keep flowing. It's easier to create a conspiracy theory than to accept facts that cut against you.

Nope.

Given it's republicans that are constantly trying to suppress democratic votes, probably not.

13 ( +16 / -3 )

I did and we have been through this so many times with THAT county since 2000

How many times, specifically? "So many" is far too vague. I know it probably makes conservatibes feel better to be able to imagine how many is "so many," but it does nothing to help those of us that want accuracy.

Oh, look. In 2004, the repilublicans were helped in Browaed County. In 2008 and 2010, there were no issues. Looks like someone didn't do any research before making a baseless claim.

*In 2004, Snipes said 58,000 absentee ballots in heavily Democratic Broward County were lost – *a detriment to the campaign of John Kerry's campaign.

*The history is mixed, however, *as the 2008 and 2010 elections had no issues.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/Broward-Countys-Election-History-at-the-Helm-of-Brenda-Snipes-500187112.html%3famp=y

Yet again we see the value of listening to Trump supporters.

13 ( +15 / -2 )

The conspiracy theories from the right just keep flowing. It's easier to create a conspiracy theory than to accept facts that cut against you.

More like the conspiracy theory is that it’s not happening seems to be the trend of the Democrats these days

Given it's republicans that are constantly trying to suppress democratic votes, probably not.

95% of blacks voted for Obama and over 70% of Hispanics in order for Obama in both elections, where is there a voter suppression? Or is there a voter suppression when a white candidate is running all the sudden, now can someone decipher that logic, please?

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/broward-countys-election-division-is-a-national-disgrace-a-history

The next disaster came during the 2004 presidential election, and all to the detriment of the Democratic candidate, Sen. John Kerry. Snipes botched the election worse than her predecessor, reporting that 58,000 absentees ballots had been lost in the mail. She later lowered that number to 6,000.

To fix her own mistake, Snipes had 5,600 replacement absentee ballots mailed ahead of the election. As the Washington Post reported at the time, the ballots were dropped off late Saturday evening. According to a spokesman for the Postal Service, by that time, the mail carriers were gone.

"There's no way in hell those people are going to get their ballots in a timely fashion," Gerry McKiernan, the spokesman, told the Post. "They should get their act together over there.”

With Snipes in charge, they never did. In fact, the election supervisor ended up in court for illegally destroying ballots in the 2016 race between Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and her primary challenger, Tim Canova. State law requires the elections office to preserve ballots in a federal election for 22 months. Snipes destroyed the paper ballots after 12 months while, as the Sun Sentinel notes, they "were still the subject of a pending lawsuit."

Basically, Trump is seeking to halt a legal process.

Sounds familiar, don't it?

The recount is mandated by Florida law. Isn't he always screaming that people should respect the law?

14 ( +16 / -2 )

Basically, Trump is seeking to halt a legal process.

Broward County is seeking to throw a wrench in the political process.....again.

Sounds familiar, don't it?

Yup!

The recount is mandated by Florida law. Isn't he always screaming that people should respect the law?

Yeah, it’s always that heavily Democratic stronghold County that has issues with votes, every time.

-15 ( +4 / -19 )

More like the conspiracy theory is that it’s not happening seems to be the trend of the Democrats these days

Sweet retort. You're trying to make not pushing a conspiracy theory a conspiracy theory. Mental gymnastics at its finest.

95% of blacks voted for Obama and over 70% of Hispanics in order for Obama in both elections, where is there a voter suppression?

Those numbers are of voters that cast ballots, which means their votes weren't suppressed. Keep grasping at straws.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Broward County is seeking to throw a wrench in the political process.....again.

By doing a recount? Logic failure! Logic failure! Logic failure!

Yeah, it’s always that heavily Democratic stronghold County that has issues with votes, every time.

Those issues have benefitted republicans at times, so I'm not sure why you're trying to make the democrats out to be nefarious.

12 ( +14 / -2 )

So what to do with the votes found in the back of the rental car? The votes found in the school? The invalid votes that the helpful lady in Broward mixed in with the valid ones? The non citizen and non matching signature votes? Cause people’s signature changes when they have strokes and stuff.

do we open the box and see if it’s full of Dem votes then count them? What if it’s full of Repub votes? They are invalid because we “don’t know where they came from”? Which is only a problem once they are confirmed as non Dem votes.

Law says by Thursday if these votes are not validated or not and counted we go back to election night results. It must be hard to fill out all these new ballots by then. (Which is the goal of this law in the first place)

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

Brevard county sealed ballot box found in rental car trunk at Ft. Lauderdale airport. False bomb scare as well. Somebody is up to no good, or just a dumb accident.

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

Liberals won’t answer this anywhere online.

What is to be done with the ballots found in the back of the rental car, in the school and ballots filled by non citizens and non registered voters? What about where the signatures don’t match the one on file?

count them or not? The found ones could be all the Republican ballots removed from the voting place for “disposal”.

The non citizen and non matching signatures could be fraud and mean people need to go to jail. Worth the risk?

-12 ( +4 / -16 )

ONE county in Georgia results:

“A full 1,811 provisional ballots in Fulton County were duplicates (49 percent), and 1,556 of them (42 percent of the total provisionals) were rejected.

Three of the individuals were not citizens, 581 were not registered to vote, and 972 did not live in that county.”

one candidate got 300,000 votes in this county and one got 100,000. Can you guess which one was the Dem?

-12 ( +5 / -17 )

This doesn't tell the whole story. Trump, ever the coward proving once again he despises being associated with military and could never fight, after not visiting the WWI ceremony because of a bit of rain, said that military votes in Florida should be ignored.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

Yep, Florida is the Florida of the USA

5 ( +6 / -1 )

So Dems want to count all the votes and we want to count all the valid votes.

No duplicates, no non citizen, no non registered voters, no voters from another place, no late submissions, no “voter intention”, no we don’t know where this box of ballots came from, but actual correctly marked and submitted ballots. Big difference.

-11 ( +4 / -15 )

What is your point? This means that the votes in this counter were properly vetted and they found the ones that shouldn't be in there. That is the point of the entire vetting process. I don't see anything wrong with the fact that they found the votes that shouldn't be there and didn't count them towards the candidates.

Have a little intellectual honesty. Democracy wins when the process is untainted and carried out to its conclusion.

Pity you don't carry that rhetoric when Democrats lose but whine about it.

Debunked. Play again.

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/politics-government/election/article221484265.html

To all those who think the election recount is a fraud, including Rick Scott and Donald Trump, why don't you call for an independent non-partisan investigation and recount instead of (like Trump suggests) just letting Scott win as was projected last week?

*duplicates (49 percent),** *

Since when are we supposed to believe the Free Republic, which openly questioned Obama's birthplace and love of America, or "Big League Politics"?

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Now that ex-felons are allowed to vote in Florida we can expect the Republicans to lose the next statewide vote. Unless, of course, they find a way to keep those people disenfranchised.

Happy to see you admit that Democrats can only win with the help of criminals. Odd thing to be proud of, but I'm glad you acknowledge it at least.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

I said that Trump and Scott will whip up the base and with that manufactured anger they would try to pass radical "solutions". Calling an end to the counting and declaring Scott the winner fits the bill.

Sounds like they have a pretty good process for making sure votes are valid before counting them.

bass: Funny, Broward county just magically find a bag full of uncounted ballads.

Still going with "4-5 Democrats worked 16 hours a day making fake ballots?"

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Gillum conceded, but apparently the law worked in favor of a required recount due to how close the ratio was. So all the conspiracy theorists here with their imaginary consipiracies (Trump included) can cry all they want, but it was started by state law. The dem's had nothing to do with it. So according to state law, the recount will go through until EVERY vote is counted.

It is much harder to conceal a lie than it is to expose the truth.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

One side pushing baseless, sensational claims and calling for an end to the counting while trying to declare themselves the winner.

The other side is countering the baseless claims and saying the law should be followed and the recount should continue.

Emotional decisions based on disinformation vs logical decisions based on reason.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

And here comes Don Jr with more disinformation:

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-jr-2012-debunked-article_us_5be9ff0fe4b0783e0a1ae622

On Monday, the president’s son tweeted a link to an NBC Miami story alleging that 200,000 non-citizens are registered to vote in Florida.

Amazing, but not shocking at all anymore. Nearly 200,000 Florida Voters May Not Be Citizens https://t.co/8HiObPLeeM via @nbc6

— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) November 12, 2018

There was a problem, though: The story that supported Trump’s claim was actually written in 2012.

Another problem (if you’re trying to foment conspiracy theories, that is): An editor’s note in the article noted that the claims in the story had been debunked.

In fact, only 85 non-citizens were removed from voter rolls from a total of 12 million voters.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Trump wants to BE the LAW of the land. It's pretty damned obvious. And Trumpeteers keep lapping up the sewage that is spewed. No surprise there. The "President's" word will be law! No congress, no senate, no constitution, no democracy... just the "President" first of his name! I hope the karmic backlash for this will be on a "entirety of humanity" scale. It's very much deserved.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

The irony is that if and when the Repub candidates for both Senate and Governor are declared winners in Florida, which is likely, they will have weakened their own positions by having created fictitious doubts about the legitimacy of the election process. Just incredibly stupid, even for President Swamp!

4 ( +5 / -1 )

theeastisred: "Just incredibly stupid, even for President Swamp!"

Unfortunately, the GOP support base is made up almost entirely of uneducated and/or extremely racist bigots, which means if the Republicans you pointed out win, they will say their position has been strengthened because they won DESPITE the illegitimacy of the process. Trump is a prime example of that -- he even says he won the popular vote and with no proof says millions of votes were illegal, etc. They'll do exactly the same, and the morons who vote Republican will lap it up.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

It's hard to tell if Trumpites have sold their souls for short-term gain with this crap, or whether the destruction of liberal democracy is what their endgame is.

If the following comment doesn't scare you, it should. It's coming from the President of the United States. Let it sink in:

"The Florida Election should be called in favor of Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis in that large numbers of new ballots showed up out of nowhere, and many ballots are missing or forged. An honest vote count is no longer possible-ballots massively infected. Must go with Election Night!"

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Blacklabel - you didn't post a link to this "news", so I did a search for this text. As expected it came up in a few no-name crank far right news sites. Nothing respectable.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

It was released by the Fulton County election office in letter format. Which can be viewed here:

https://bigleaguepolitics.com/bombshell-fulton-county-numbers-show-massive-duplicate-ballots-rejected-ballots-non-citizens-trying-to-vote/

focus on the letter, not the your feelings about the website which posted it as liberals like to do.

You checked the entire internet? How?

Count them, if they are valid.

> and ballots filled by non citizens and non registered voters?

Todd them.

What about where the signatures don’t match the one on file?

Contact the voters.

Happy now?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

So the boxes found in the school and at the car rental contain no ballots, that’s good. Solves the issue of what to do with the ballots that could have been inside.

But how to explain tomorrow if Dems have 15,000 more votes? Where do they come from? This wouldn’t look so shady if there were some actual explanations about where the ballots came from and why it takes a week to count them only in Dem leaning districts.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Pity you don't carry that rhetoric when Democrats lose but whine about it.

Pity that you are making assumptions that are totally incorrect.

Democrats hate being exposed as liars. That much is obvious from some of the comments just in JT, alone!

Any evidence to support your assertion?

ROFL! So 80,000 fake votes suddenly turn up and you think it's a conspiracy? Buwahaha

Yet again your assumption is completely incorrect.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Ok so how long do the contacted voters get to leisurely reply? Christmas? Who ensures everyone is contacted and provides the numbers? No one is doing any of that. For all we know only ballots that were for Dems are being contacted for “validation”.

But how to explain tomorrow if Dems have 15,000 more votes? Where do they come from? This wouldn’t look so shady if there were some actual explanations about where the ballots came from and why it takes a week to count them only in Dem leaning districts.

Me: This.

Black:

For all we know only ballots marked by Trump's' army of republican fraudsters that are funded by the Trump Org. are being "validated." We can keep up this guessing game all day long, but it's not helping. I can spin just as many conspiracy theories as you, that's what makes them nonsense.

Conservatives sure are playing the victim card. ROFL. Har! Oh my . . . Smh.

Trump was probably the kind of kid who would take his baseball and go home if he wasn’t getting to bat for every single pitch and hitting a home run.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Then how would the Republican lead be “shrinking” in every single state every single day? Try again.

For all we know only ballots marked by Trump's' army of republican fraudsters that are funded by the Trump Org. are being "validated."

So supposed Republican “suppression” allows Dems to just fill out and count as many ballots a week after the election as they want ? These ballots aren’t valid but we will count them anyway?

Burning BushToday  06:58 am JST

The recount is doing noting by sowing more division in American society.

Time to call an end to all this. The election is over.

Right, Burning Bush, and if the Republican socket puppet had been losing, you would then be screaming for a recount. Really? You don’t want every vote counted? You probably feel if this was done, your socket puppet may lose, nay?

6 ( +7 / -1 )

It would have been nice if the previous presidential election had been called at the time the popular vote was called and before the Electoral College was called.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

blacklabel: Then how would the Republican lead be “shrinking” in every single state every single day?

and

Serrano: Mysteriously all of the late vote is coming in lopsidedly Democrat. What's up with that?

In AZ the biggest county is blue and it took the longest to count, so as they counted the blue lead widened. Not shocking.

In FL, Broward is the second largest county, and according to Wikipedia: "But since 1992, Broward County has supported the Democratic presidential nominee by increasing majorities. It is now the most reliably Democratic county in the state, with the exception of the much less populous and majority African American Gadsden County in North Florida."

Again, not shocking that the last votes received from blue counties would be blue.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

And just to remind everyone here:

"Right now, we’re working with the Department of State and we will investigate if there are any credible allegations of fraud or criminal activity," FDLE spokesperson Gretl Plessinger told The Hill, adding that no such allegations have surfaced yet."

There have been no credible allegations of fraud. The only people running with that are Scott, Trump, and the rest of the GOP, and they are using this baseless allegation to support the radical position that all counting be stopped, in which case they win.

Build up manufactured outrage, then use the outrage to support radical positions.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

"The only fraud that has occurred is from republicans paid by the Trump Organization to vote multiple times."

That statement has no basis in reality.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

"It would have been nice if the previous presidential election had been called at the time the popular vote was called and before the Electoral College was called."

Why do you hate the Constitution?

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

There's no downside to the GOP pushing conspiracy theories and unsupported allegations.

If they lose the recount they can use it to support radical measures to steal the election.

If they win the recount, which they most likely will, they will stop talking about fraud but will tap into the anger as needed in the future, for example in the next close election (remember Floirda!).

5 ( +6 / -1 )

That statement has no basis in reality.

It would be nice if Republicans extended this level of skepticism to some of their own conspiracy theories about the Democratic party.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Why do you hate the Constitution?

No evidence that Laguna hates the Constitution. I am sure that Laguna likes the checks and balances it has, but may be concerned by some elements, such as how the candidate with fewer votes than the other candidate can still win the election. Governance of the few not the many.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Great so now that there is a Dem house you will actually be writing some legislation to prevent that right?

Nah? Good to have an excuse for losing.

such as how the candidate with fewer votes than the other candidate can still win the election

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Serrano: "Why do you hate the Constitution?"

Says a guy who spits on it by supporting a president who says he can sign executive orders that supersede it, and doesn't have to follow it in other cases, either. I love how you guys respect the Constitution out of convenience then just say, "Who cares?" when your people completely violate it.

Serrano: "Mysteriously all of the late vote is coming in lopsidedly Democrat. What's up with that?"

Easy, as they are trying to do now, Scott and others have suppressed and tossed out a lot of valid Democratic votes -- something they can't as easily do (though again, Trump wants to ignore the military vote, being the coward he is, and Scott is trying to change the rules again) in a heavily scrutinized recount and recheck.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

"Trump wants to ignore the military vote"

That statement has no basis in reality.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Serrano: Hey Super, what's up with Florida election laws being violated?

Hey Serrano, what's up with all of the questions?

You guys asked about the ballots in the back of cars, and we answered that. Nothing out of line.

You guys asked about the boxes in the back of a truck, and we answered that. Nothing out of line.

You guys asked about the late votes being blue, and we answered that. Nothing out of line.

Instead of hearing about something and rushing to liberals to get answers, maybe you can research them on your own and save everyone the wasted time or responding to everything you can't figure out yourself.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

A president telling a state to break the law?

Absent of evidence to the contrary, just let the state do its due process

Otherwise, present hard evidence - not speculations

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Happy to see you admit that Democrats can only win with the help of criminals. Odd thing to be proud of, but I'm glad you acknowledge it at least.

There was a ruling by the SCOTUS about this. Once a felon fully pays their debt to society, it is illegal to withhold all the rights of a citizen, assuming they were citizens. That includes voting.

Read somewhere that absentee votes can arrive up to 10 days after the election to allow for shipping from overseas. The ballot must be postmarked by election day. https://dos.myflorida.com/elections/for-voters/voting/military-and-overseas-citizens-voting/

Georgia law is different. If the absentee votes aren't delivered to the county election officials by 7pm on election day, then those votes are too late and don't count.

Both absentee voting deadlines laws have merit.

Tell that to the President, he seems to want to tear it up at his convenience.

"Nothing out of line"

Now that's living in denial, Super. Google "Brenda Snipes" and you'll discover something is, ahem, out of line.

"Liberals won’t answer this anywhere online.

"What is to be done with the ballots found in the back of the rental car, in the school and ballots filled by non citizens and non registered voters?"

Superlib has answered this. "Nothing out of line." LOL

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

I just checked my linen closet and found a box of ballots from Broward county. Everybody check your homes just in case you have some. Luckily mine are all in favor of Rick Scott, lol.

It was released by the Fulton County election office in letter format. Which can be viewed here:

https://bigleaguepolitics.com/bombshell-fulton-county-numbers-show-massive-duplicate-ballots-rejected-ballots-non-citizens-trying-to-vote/

focus on the letter, not the your feelings about the website which posted it as liberals like to do.

OK. You told me too focus on the letter - I am not denying is authenticity. So did a little digging and only needed to go to one site (Wiki):

The 2004 US Presidential Election was the first presidential election conducted under the Help America Vote Act's provisions. Nationwide, at least 1.9 million provisional ballots were cast, and 676,000 were never counted due to various states' rules on counting provisional ballots.

Looks like being rejected is pretty common.

Surely you (and all of us) should be worried if these votes were accepted, not rejected.

Anyway, nice try.

The counting still isn't done. Overseas voters get 10 days after the election to get their ballots in. Look for more "gee, they found new ballots" comments.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

And you 'pubs still refuse to condemn the 2-million votes the GOP paid illegals to make for the GOP.

Truly disgusting and hypocritical.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Oh, and neither do you condemn the 400,000 fake Florida votes the GOP just got caught trying to slip into the count.

How do you people live with yourselves? After years of whining about fake votes and the like, you are now still whining about it, even as your people are being caught buying votes from illegals, and creating fake votes in Florida.

Pathetic.

How dare people legally submit more votes that the GOP does't like. How dare they.

Broward County's embattled election supervisor Brenda Snipes has a history of mismanaging close races in Florida; insight from Eric Eggers, author of 'Fraud: How The Left Plans to Steal the Next Election.'

Sounds insightful. Let me guess, is George Soros involved?

Ergo we should just declare the entire election null and void and let Donald Trump pick Florida's next Senator.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

trump tries to break the law. again.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

This is so stupid! It’s always Broward County, let’s see if they can snake the election this time, gotta give them credit for trying though. In the end, this really won’t change the outcome.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Calling for an end to the vote count at a point in time when one's party is in the lead is like calling for an end to the baseball game at a point when your team is in the lead. Nice trick, if you can get away with it.

It's not election fraud if the Democrats win.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Florida has said they have received no credible allegation of fraud so there is nothing to investigate.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Republicans hate counting all the votes because not as many people vote for them.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Republicans like counting the legal votes. They hate counting the illegal/bogus votes, because the vast majority of those are for the Democrats.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

"no credible allegation of fraud"

Broward County is the definition of fraud.

"Scott may win. Nelson may win. Just count all the votes and see"

If we count all the bogus votes, Scott will lose. No way to separate them at this point thanks to Snipes and the rest of the rats.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Reality: no credible allegation of fraud

Trump fans: Broward County is the definition of fraud.

You're just frustrating yourself.

"You're just frustrating yourself"

You're in denial. Fact: Election laws have been violated.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Alrighty. As long as Dems get away with it I'll be happy.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

"As long as Dems get away with it I'll be happy."

That says a lot.

No matter where these recounts are being held, they're all tilted in favor of the Democrats, a little bit of a statistical anomaly, considering that some of these states are swing states, some are more red and some are more blue, but they all seem to favor the Democrats. I wonder why that could possibly be.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

No matter where these recounts are being held, they're all tilted in favor of the Democrats

Counts are more complicated and take longer in urban areas. Urban areas tend to be more Democratic.

There's no mystery involved.

I'd like to know what your solution to this whole issue is. Just let Scott win? Invalidate Broward Country altogether? Please tell us what you want instead of just making unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud.

If we count all the bogus votes, Scott will lose. No way to separate them at this point thanks to Snipes and the rest of the rats.

So why have elections, Serrano, as your people may lose, and now with felons being allowed to vote, republicans will NOW Lose by a lot. So....no more elections. Such a love for tyranny.

Top of the 7th inning, and our team is leading one to nothing. Stop the game! No need to go the full nine innings!

Not all the votes have been counted, but our team is winning. Stop the count! No need to count all the votes!

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Stop counting the votes, as our people may lose! We heard this sentiment im 2000 with the election of Gore vs. the Psychomonkey Bush. And we saw how THAT turned out. Stalin would be proud of Trump!

Yay..democracy..

An interesting and important example of why it is important to keep counting the votes until all the votes have been counted can be had by looking at the 39th Congressional district of California. On election night, the Republican candidate was leading with 57% of the vote. Today, eleven days after election day, the Democratic candidate leads by about 1,000 votes. It is likely that the Democrat's lead will grow over time, since up to 75% of the voters in the Los Angeles area of the 39th district voted by mail, and their votes mostly did not get counted on election day. In fact, the state of California allows one month for all of the votes to be counted.

On another issue, I heard that the Republican candidate in the 39th district stole about $100,000 from the old Republican Congressman. Charges were not filed, but a number of Republican insiders are unhappy with their candidate. If she is that corrupt before she even takes office, what can they expect from her if she gets some real power?

Or maybe, the people actually voted Democrat. Same as they did this election, same as they did in the last one. And actually the two before that as well. And I think they won Bush’s second midterms as well.

That’s a lot of elections in a row that the people preferred the democrats.

I actually wonder if my vote counted, as I actually am registered as a Florida voter, and I did vote, as an absentee voter, for Nelson, . It makes you wonder, was my vote counted?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

For Nelson? You have to ask? It was definitely without a doubt counted at least once. Even if you signed your name differently or “forgot” your own birthday.

Smithinjapan says...

"Unfortunately, the GOP support base is made up almost entirely of uneducated and/or extremely racist bigots,..."

But has nothing whatsoever to base this on. Instead, he lobs insults from his rokujo room in between eikaiwa lessons.

The moment the democrats magically "found" an entire truckload of 40k ballots, 8k in some school and the Found ballots in random cars the vote counting should have ended and indictments handed out. Republicans ate not losing ground to a recoubt, the democrats are stuffing balit boxes and they are not even trying to hide their fraud

"Found" votes? Looks like Russian dis-information has found its way all the way to Japan.
