"AMERICA IS RESPECTED AGAIN!" Trump added.

Says the only US President in history to be laughed at in an international forum.

12 ( +13 / -1 )

The only people who respect America right now are Trumpists. Can anyone name a single other group that respects America right now?

10 ( +10 / -0 )

AMERICA IS RESPECTED AGAIN!

The sad fact is that America is less respected now than it has been in your entire lifetime, Cadet Bonespurs. The country that was once 'the shining beacon on the hill' is now seen as a joke, a dangerous man-child with delusions of conspiracies, paranoid and fearful, petulant and weakening.

The sad part is that there is still much that is strong about America. Our allies know this... but as long as you, oh Coward-In-Chief Cadet Bonespurs holds the executive authority inside the nation, America is rapidly weakened.

Why is it everyone who leaves this administration, either by their own choice or not, are insulted, demeaned, and have their reputation disparaged - by one person.

Maybe "dog", "liar", "dumb as a rock", and "lazy as hell" describes the person making the remarks, not the individual leaving...

Whether its insulting Gold Star families, sending troops on a farce to the border over the holidays, or insulting our intelligence professionals, this president has shown nothing but disrespect for our military.

Gen Mattis was and is held in very high regard by the force - his being insulted like this after many years of honorable active service, and two years as leader of the DOD does not sit well with them.

More and more of our military members are seeing this Moron we have in office for what he is - a danger to the republic...

And there is lots that is good about America too. Even in this mess of an administration. It’s good to not forget that.

Hate to break it to you but, 99% of the media isn't left slanted. Not sure where you got that number from, but if you can show me I would be happy to take a look.

Of course its OK to have opposing viewpoints, can't take a vegan to a steak house. But you don't seem to have much of an opinion other than you don't like liberals. Not sure why you don't like them, but you just don't. Maybe cause they "scream" too much or rant about Trump too much. That seems to be your go to post.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Cool! Does this mean we can cut the Pentagon budget?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

All I want for Christmas is Trump's resignation, prompt indictment, conviction and imprisonment.

It will take our country decades to recover from the damage done by Trump and his deplorable supporters.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Are you going to give an opinion about Trump withdrawing the troops or are you just going to complain about liberals?

I agree with Trump. How about you?

I already did.

Do you agree or disagree?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Quite true - in fact, I'd challenge anyone here to find a post of his that doesn't have "Libs" in it.

It's how he has been conditioned to see the world in complete Black (Con) and White (Lib) terms, by the far-right media empire. It's a trait shared with almost every Trumper.

If someone cuts them off in traffic or if the bank teller is rude to them, they're obviously "Libs"...

Unfortunately that's now how reality is structured, and when it intrudes on their simplistic view of the world, heads explode....

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Well, I’m sure Trump had his reasons, the left should be happy, for years they complained that Republicans are warmongers and now we have a President that wants to bring our troops and what do the liberals do....they blow a gasket and scream outrage because he wants to withdraw our troops, you just can’t make this stuff up.

Are you going to give an opinion about Trump withdrawing the troops or are you just going to complain about liberals?

I agree with Trump. How about you?

@bass

We are also trying to recover from 43's disaster. Don't see why you think comparing to 44, a less than mediocre president, helps your argument.

If Trump gets his way with the environment, we will all be getting a lot more coal for Christmas. Along with some pretty disastrous effects on the planet. But we won't have to deal with it right? Leave it for the next few generations to deal with.

I think Trump’s erratic behavior is making a lot of people nervous.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Trump is a business man so he thinks about financial benefits. His general is in the business of fighting wars so he's more interested in control and power. (That speech about commitment with allies was kind of sweet if only it was true.) By getting out of Syria, the US is staying out from the fight for power and influence. Russia was the main force behind getting Syria back together but Turkey was specifically mentioned by Trump as the country he passed the baton. He wanted to get troops out so he used Turkey and whipped up some smooth talk. Turkey would make their moves and who knows how Russia and co will respond. Maybe the remaining parties already made an agreement among themselves. Maybe they'll be fighting amongst themselves for their bigger part of the pies. I entertain the possibility that once an external common enemy is gone, those who claimed to be allies with each other may turn against themselves for their own benefits. The US was always the external common enemy. Or maybe I was just watching too much dramas.

@Bass

How can you even argue that OAN isn't incredibly far right propaganda?

Hard to even try to see your side when you are pushing that.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

As I suspected the Trumpets can’t even name a single other group in the world right now that respects America under Trump.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Heartbreaking to think that Sec. of Def. Mattis is no longer going to be around as of Jan. 1st.. A sane mind in an insane White House is jumping ship. Hopefully, he'll speak out and write a book about the absurdities he's been a witness to.

Here's the global respect meters about America:

So people don't make stuff up

@bass

Youve only given an opinion of the minority strict liberal media whose employee’s jobs are to disagree with everything trump. Pretty sure you only read JT and Fox News because you’ve already proven to not subscribe to stuff like Washington post and NY times where a lot of the articles focus on facts rather than debate (outside the opinion articles).

so, instead of giving an opinion on the media output which you believe to be the liberal creed, why don’t you tell us what you think of trump and his decision to pull out if the war in Syria.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Do you agree or disagree?

I already gave my answer on that matter.

Youve only given an opinion of the minority strict liberal media whose employee’s jobs are to disagree with everything trump. Pretty sure you only read JT and Fox News

Wrong, very, very wrong.

because you’ve already proven to not subscribe to stuff like Washington post and NY times where a lot of the articles focus on facts rather than debate (outside the opinion articles).

I prefer Stratfor or OAN

so, instead of giving an opinion on the media output which you believe to be the liberal creed,

Yes!

why don’t you tell us what you think of trump and his decision to pull out if the war in Syria.

Again, I already gave my answer.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

i can't understand that logic that bring our troops home... who is going to provide them they pay,job......mind you its never Americans tax payer who pay for them.

BTW Same thing happened with Rome.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

As if the rest of the world matters, come on!

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

"world-approval-leadership-drops-new-low"

So? They can't vote. Yeah, I know the illegals already in the country can, lol.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Doesn't make sense for Mattis announce that he wants to quit, bad mouth his boss, and then expect to hang around for two more months. He should have known this was coming but I suppose he wanted to go out as a darling of the far Left. Lot's of money to be made on the Left-wing media consultant circuit. Bet Mad Dog Mattis wouldn't have put up with that when he was commanding some outfit in the military.

In the end Mattis is a globalist who has invested himself in wars that the American people don't want to win. Trump understands that America is tired of never ending wars of Bush and Obama. I used to endorse America intervention in certain cases because more often than not, the American military was a force for stability in the world. However the American people don't support a unified foreign policy anymore Each side of the political spectrum uses war to gain political points for themselves and against the other. Obama ran against America's wars and ended up continuing them and even launching his own against Libya. America is better off disentangling from the rest of the world to the greatest extent possible and fortifying it's borders against direct threats. Unless the UN is willing to lead the way (without always being forced to do something by the US) then forget it.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Hate to break it to you but, 99% of the media isn't left slanted.

Yes, it is, I work in the media. It has always been left predominately until 1996 until FNC was launched, pretty much before that there was only crossfire on CNN on Sundays, that was the only time were you can watch on TV different opposing views between conservatives and liberals, that was pretty much it, sometimes you had on the McLaughlin group and every now and then Tim Russert was a liberal, but like Peter Jennings was a very fair and kept his personal politics out of it, but that all changed when bathtub boy Keith Olbermann started to go on a nightly tirade about Bush, since then liberals have dropped their mask of being fair and objective, now it’s just full on attack any conservative, the President and generate as many clicks as possible.

Not sure where you got that number from, but if you can show me I would be happy to take a look.

I have done this so many times in the past. But you can go back and search my links if you wish.

Of course its OK to have opposing viewpoints,

Thank you.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

"The sad fact is that America is less respected now than it has been in your entire lifetime"

Wrong. The disrespect was during the last 3 administrations - Barack, W and Billy Boy.

This a smart business decision. Should one of your senior partners publicly go against the corporate desires and tells you "I'll leave in two months" the only good business decision is to immediately find a replacement who will work for the corporation. This is what Trump is doing with Mattis. It's not that hard to comprehend.

I agree with Trump. We don't need perpetual war.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

All I want for Christmas is Trump's resignation, prompt indictment, conviction and imprisonment.

Most likely Democrats will get a fat lump of coal instead.

It will take our country decades to recover from the damage done by Trump and his deplorable supporters.

We’re still trying to recover 44’s disaster, it’ll take awhile.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Whether its insulting Gold Star families, sending troops on a farce to the border over the holidays,

Farce? So that’s what liberals are calling the chaos that even Mexico has stated

or insulting our intelligence professionals, this president has shown nothing but disrespect for our military.

Actually, quite the opposite, unlike the last guy who didn’t care one iota of the military, the President has the absolute right to have a cabinet that he feels comfortable with and he he doesn’t, that person will be replaced.

Gen Mattis was and is held in very high regard by the force - his being insulted like this after many years of honorable active service, and two years as leader of the DOD does not sit well with them.

Yes, I agree, but Mattis is not the President, so it doesn’t matter how he feels.

More and more of our military members are seeing this Moron we have in office for what he is - a danger to the republic...

I think it’s more of the opposite.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

How can you even argue that OAN isn't incredibly far right propaganda?

Because they’re not, what they do is just give out street news, now they do have a more right leaning slant, but that’s OK given that 99% of the general media is left slanted, so it’s OK to have opposing view points, the old days of crosstalk back on CNN is over where you had only one Republican come out every week old Bob Novak to take on the dozen of liberals he had to face.

Hard to even try to see your side when you are pushing that.

That’s ok, I’m assaulted by the left media every single day and growing up in California in the late 90’s until now it’s just been a liberal echo chamber. I refuse to just listen to ONLY leftist viewpoints.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Are you going to give an opinion about Trump withdrawing the troops or are you just going to complain about liberals?

I agree with Trump. How about you?

I already did.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

We are also trying to recover from 43's disaster.

And now 44’s as well, double your pleasure or disaster whichever you want to spin it...

Don't see why you think comparing to 44, a less than mediocre president, helps your argument.

Gee, how much time do you have, I need a couple of days.

If Trump gets his way with the environment, we will all be getting a lot more coal for Christmas. Along with some pretty disastrous effects on the planet. But we won't have to deal with it right? Leave it for the next few generations to deal with

Oh, dear lord.....

-9 ( +0 / -9 )
