Even if he's innocent, to put on the black robe of a U.S. Supreme Court justice is comparable to becoming a high ranking priest, and if the people you're representing don't trust you, then you should refuse the honor in order to maintain public faith in the institution (even if you're innocent). According to the law, it certainly appears that Kavanaugh is innocent. Being repeatedly attacked by Democrats who have been unable to actually produce any credible evidence of Kavanaugh's wrong doing does not mean that Kavanaugh is "guilty" of anything.

Many people do trust Kavanaugh. Democrats who vowed to attack any Supreme Court nominee selected by Trump don't like Kavanaugh. There are many people who still do not trust Obama's picks (Sotomayor and Kagan) to be just, or fair. If Kavanaugh should be impeached for hurting people's feelings, Sotomayor and Kagan should be sent packing for the same reason.

This latest political debacle was started by a former Clinton lawyer's claim that something happened decades ago. The FBI had been informed of this rumor last year. The alleged victim of this faux outrage has told her friends she doesn't remember this alleged incident. Two alleged reporters, who did not talk to the alleged victim, repeated the claim in their book, and made the alleged victim's name public. (That should teach the alleged victim a lesson for not talking to these media-types.) Might as well face the fact that this type of demonstration is the best show that the Democrat Party can produce.

Kavanaugh's behavior towards women is not normal. I've been at lots of parties with co-workers and have never seen anyone doing the things Kavanaugh is accused of doing. It's not normal. His actions are those of a serial sexual abuser. How in the name of God can this deviant be on the SCOTUS?

If the opportunity arises where this president is convicted for crimes before and during his time in office, then everything Trump's ever done as president should be declared illegal. This means that any appointments to the U.S. Supreme Court should be regarded as null and void.

What? Tons of evidence. Many have seen his excessive drinking. Assault on Ford. Assault on Ramirez. His own admission to drinking a ton. Many, many friends and associates saying it is completely plausible he did acts of sloppy behavior and sexual assault. When people like him argue or obfuscate direct questions, it undermines all credibility because of his weasel-ly answers and misdirection. That's not a quality I want in a SCOTUS judge.

I know Democrats think 24/7 about impeaching Trump, but besides doing the impossible and now they’re just completely insane and want to focus on impeaching Kavanaugh over what?
