Donald Trump for the use of gas and rubber bullets against peaceful protesters near the White House.

Just read that again. The man is unspeakable.

And so is Mitch McConnell.

Don’t let the fact that it didn’t happen stop Dems from trying to already pass some political attack resolution. No tear gas or rubber bullets. 51 officers injured by the “peaceful protesters”.

The Republicans proudly worship at the altar of money, power and privilege and wield the blunt weapon of politics and, when that no longer suffices, militarized force to "dominate". They regard democracy as idiocracy and the Constitution as just, in the words of George W. Bush, a " goddam piece of paper". No solution to America's existential crisis can be expected to come from them because they have long been a huge part of the problem. Only a November self-demolition of the GOP can start the fix that the country so desperately needs.

You forgot the peaceful protesters with "white nationalists" embedded within them.

Ok, so the Democrats want To punish Trump from punishing these thugs? I’m speechless, but then again I shouldn’t be THAT surprised.

a Democratic resolution on Tuesday that would have condemned President Donald Trump for the use of gas and rubber bullets against peaceful protesters near the White House.

Guess they weren't so peaceful being as how they refused to move back to allow the president to safely walk from the White House to the church.

And let's not forget the over 60 Secret Service agents who were injured from the "peaceful protesters" in front of the White House the other day.

The Democrats at this point are an enemy of the American people.

Oh I am sorry, I forgot to post pure speculation that has no basis in reality. You hoping it to be true doesnt will it into existence. White nationalists would not be "protesting" alongside black people in front of the White House.

They have no reason to throw bricks at police or try to loot or burn. Not their agenda, for the 3000-5000 of them who may actually exist within the USA.

You forgot the peaceful protesters with "white nationalists" embedded within them.

Once again, congressional Republicans are doing their best to make their own branch of government completely irrelevant to the executive. I hope that it's worth it for them.

For the rest of us, we can't let this kind of behavior from the President become normalized. Once that happens, there's no going back.

"The Democrats tried to use fast-track procedures to pass the measure by a unanimous voice vote but were stopped when Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican, objected."

Kentucky, do us a real solid and get the Moscow Turtle out of office.

Who would've thought, a small handful of politicians acting in bad faith could gum up the entire system.

And he desecrated not one but TWO houses of worship in order to make a photo-op for his ego! Trump is taking the LORD's name in vain for his selfish egotistical agenda and Episcopalian and Catholic clergy have condemned his repulsive unchristian hypocritical action.

Ok, so the Democrats want To punish Trump from punishing these thugs?

The protesters referred to in this article were peacefully exercising their lawful right to congregate and make their voices heard. You consider them thugs who need to be punished.

Says a lot about the Trump cult.

Because the Insane Republican party support gassing and firing rubber projectiles at Americans so flailing Dear leader can have a slimy photo op.

I am curious why you and some other Trump haters continue to write these crude missives. Do you want to convince anybody from the other side to change their minds? In that case, try to ditch the gutter language and try some arguments. This is not the way to do it... you just make people form opinions about yourself.

Or is this just some sort of self-affirmation inside your echo chamber?

Good question. Firstly, because they are true and secondly because they are fun to write.

In terms of getting people to change their minds, that is best left to the actions of Donald Trump himself, such as this disgraceful stunt.
