Where is Trump’s healthcare by the way?

Moscow Mitch is refusing to bring it to a vote. Republicans are frightened to death of the democratic process, which is why Murder Mitch kills legislation by not bringing it to a vote.

Old Mitch doing a Harry Reid, I remember those days, frustrating....

I'm ok with that.
Need a simple law to prevent pharmaceutical companies from profiteering in the USA.
Pricing for any drug in the USA should be no more than 3% higher than what any other developed nation pays - provided India and China are included in the list. After all, they both have moon landing space programs, so they certainly have sufficient money.
One price, regardless of health care provider, plan, payer, in a hospital or outside. No rebates. No kickbacks. No under the table payments. The price is the price.
No more $10 single Tylenol pills inside hospitals. The price is the same if I get it at Walgreens, 7-Eleven, or the Trauma center.

For Trump to buy-in, and for Moscow Mitch to go along requires them to check first to see how much big pharma offers each. After all, padding their respective bank accounts is the main reason they're in office.
Both Trump and McConnell continue to weaken the separation of powers and other principles of the republic in their quest to establish greater authoritarianism - and fatten their families' bank accounts.

Pelosi also just came out in favor of DC statehood.

My lord, where on Earth do you get this stuff from? Lol! Seriously....

It's pretty easy to find info on the balance and separation of powers, and how Trump/Mitch continue to undermine them.
It's also pretty easy to find info on how Trump (think about golf outings to one of his properties profiting his holdings - on the taxpayer's dollars) and McConnell (read about his dealings with Russian oligarchs and his wife's family connections with China) have further padded their bank accounts.
But finding that info would require broadening news sources beyond listening to Limbaugh and watching Fox and friends.
If trump released his most current tax info, the American public - other than the minority backing him - might learn how much he's ripping the taxpayers off. Which big oil and defense industries getting government contracts and subsidies does trump have shares in, and which have contributed the most to his campaigns?

This requires intellectual curiosity and a slightly advance ability to read, which Trumpophiles lack.

Obama/Reid did the exact same thing...ahhh.. the memories...
Ok...
Limbaugh? Fox and Friends? Well, they are powerful, so why not? Delivery was on the other side they love listening to Don lemon or Joe and Mika, so it’s all fair. Don’t give me that garbage that if Trump release his taxes that the heaters would back him, that is just nothing but a joke, no one believes that in all seriousness, liberals would use that to their advantage for whatever scheme they could conceive.

Hey Moscow Mitch, what else are you "still looking at something?"
Election Security?
Common sense gun control?
Infrastructure improvements?
Disaster aid?
Moscow Mitch only moves on something if it fattens his and his wife, Elaine Chao's, wallet.....

The ultimate swamp creatures - wasn't Trump going to clean those out?

Given McConnell is in it for his own financial benefit and cares two nothings for the middle and working classes (typical Republican), IF he in fact is 'looking at doing something on drug pricing' you have to assume he'll do whatever he can to support his paymasters.
In addition to the money they're making selling the country to the highest bidders, as high ranking government figures McConnell and wife are both able to get the best health health care possible. Sick

A bunch of "middle class" people work at pharma companies too. About 20% of the US economy is tied to health care, so any changes will always have detractors whose income is based on the current way it works.
BTW, the USA doesn't have a single-payer health care system, unless you count the US Military, regardless of Zichi's statements.

Rather than provide an opinion, I'd like to ask two simple questions from here in Japan:
Q1. How does the Japanese Healthcare system compare to that within the US ?
Q2. If more favorable, then are there any lessons that can be learnt from it and incorporated within the US - if so which ones ?
