There is indeed a large Jewish community in Iran and they are free practice their religion.

In fact their religious freedom is protected by Iranian law.

I have no idea how the US can possible compare Iran to Nazi Germany.

I usually would agree with you, but that’s not quite exactly true anymore. In recent years and overall the last 30 years many Iranian-Jews fled to Glendale, California and to Israel. Glendale is known as the Persian and Armenian Capital of the State. Iran back in the day was extremely tolerant towards pretty much all religions, but now that’s changing very fast.

Of course, this is the same sort of 'reasoning' that claimed that those opposed to the White State in South Africa were planning a Holocaust targeting Whites.

Racists can never figure out that those opposed to racism aren't like them, because they are so sure of their superiority they can't comprehend that others might be better people than they are.

Religious fanatics are a problem for the entire world. Christianity has their share, just as Islam does and other religions do.

Joeintokyo - Pence, as an individual, is free to practice his religion in the USA, no matter what others think about it. Fortunately, he doesn't have any control over someone else's afterlife (or lack of afterlife) at all. Does believing that their isn't a god make someone anti-Semitic, anti-Muslim, anti-Hindu, anti-Christian? Nope. It just means that person believes all those people are wasting a bunch of time, when they could be concentrating on being a good, kind, productive humans without all the bearded man behind a curtail aspects.
