Kavanaugh is just another bullcrap, lying Republican hack.

I like judges with no sex crimes.

Not much sense bitching about this. The republicans will continue to be repugnant and put another self-entitled individual on the bench. They stole one seat from Obama, and Trump probably had something on Kennedy or Kennedy's son. Either way, the barely literate party got two seats.

Senator Dianne Feinstein, the committee's top Democrat, said she received the information about Kavanaugh from a person she declined to identify. In a statement, Feinstein did not specify the nature of the information.

So basically she's just planting a seed. No evidence, no nothing, just the seed of doubt in an attempt to smear a political enemy.

Crazy Joe, apart from Feinstein's vague, unsubstantiated allusion, where's one shred of evidence Kavanagh's committed a sex crime?

New York Times-Check. Anonymous people with “knowledge” of the matter-check. Dem senator-check. 3 decades ago-check. Anonymous accuser-check. “Me too” movement- check.

@Chip Star, How is this comment any more rational than Blacklabel's pretty accurate summary of this ridiculous situation?

Clearly, the leftists have nothing on Kavanagh, so they're just making up allegations about some "possible sexual misconduct." If there are any legs to this at all, I strongly doubt it would be anything more than your typical teenage boy trying to catch a snog from a girl he like, but she spurned him. If that's the case, most of us would be "guilty" of that!

Pathetic, even for the Democrats.

He isn’t a member of the “trump team” sorry.

Wonder if there is a signed yearbook in this case too? guess Gloria Allred wasn’t getting the desired results so now we have “#me too lawyer” on the case. What’s Avenatti doing? He should be free while Stormy writing her book.

3 paragraphs with "FBI" that say absolutely nothing. They got a report, unsubstantiated and added that unsubstantiated info to his file.

Feinstein is "trolling."

The Dems are pulling another Anita Hill. Maybe we will find out that the unknown accuser followed Kavanaugh for years using him to advance her career but now claiming he put a hair on her Coke.

Yet I hope Kavanaugh is rejected so a real Conservative can be selected instead. Kavanaugh made it clear he plays the identity politics game, even boasted about it. Amy Coney-Barrett would be fantastic - would drive the Left out of their collectivist minds.

I thought the explicit questions he wanted to ask Clinton, together with his parading of Catholic school girls during the hearing were huge red flags.

"This has all the indicators of an 11th hour character assassination

You can't assassinate a character that's been dead since the 90s.

Kavanaugh, a conservative federal appeals court judge nominated by Trump to the lifetime position on the high court, made no major missteps in two days of questioning by senators during his confirmation hearing last week.

If he "made no missteps", it's only because he made no steps at all. He pointedly refused to answer any question on any topic indicating how he would rule on any remotely controversial issue. I've never seen anyone work so hard to say so little with so many words as Kavanaugh. He wouldn't even say if he thought Roe V. Wade had been decided correctly.

I can only conclude anyone who goes so far to prevent anyone from finding out their beliefs must hold some pretty heinous beliefs.

Yes, maybe. Maybe not.

That appears to be your only criterion for assessing political decisions - how much they annoy... "the Left." Sorry, why the capital letter? Do you think... "the Left" is actually a specific group or organisation, or do you just have very crude, simplistic views about political affiliations?

Kavanaugh is just another bullcrap, lying Republican hack.

Yeah, whatever, anyway, he will be confirmed, just a matter of time and then the fun begins watching the left go nuts.

The Dems are pulling another Anita Hill.

Exactly. It has all the hallmarks and memories of once again how delusional and desperate and pathetic the Democrats are. They know they don’t have the votes, so they will throw anything and everything at this highly qualified nominee, liberals are even trying to bully, threaten and intimidate Susan Collins to put pressure on her to vote No.

So he doesn’t believe in women’s rights and contraception. Did the underage girl have a baby?

Good grief, more anonymous accusers, etc. etc. etc. that the Democrats always seem to pull out of their asses when they have no intelligent arguments? Feinstein had a Chinese spy working for her, lol.

"The New York Times, citing two people familiar with the matter,"

Or, citing two people with overactive imaginations.

"I like judges with no sex crimes."

You'll like Kavanaugh then, Crazy.

Feinstein is getting too old for this game. Her antics are recycled and predictable and tends to have memory lapses from time to time. She should do the honorable thing and retire especially after the Chinese spy debacle so other next generational players can have their turn.

Anyway this is all about Dems using up all their energy they can muster on obstructing Kavanaugh from managing over any Trump related subject matters. Dems are so afraid that it's progressively developing into higher plausibility that any obstruction charge(s) Bob Mueller imposes on POTUS could end up getting mediated by SCOTUS.

So many well known mainstream experts stated that Robert Mueller is an ill-founded player as well as unconstitutional as Special Counsel if it goes all way to the supreme court as a case. Dems currently do not have any solid contentions for Kavanaugh's recusal. They only have their hypothesis that Kavanaugh's judicial principles doesn't place much stature in the Special Counsel office.

But the issue with Dem's recusal play is that if Kavanaugh ends up having to "recuse himself" then Elena Kagan and Ruth Bader Ginsberg also has to do the same. Dems are gonna try to push the BS that Kavanaugh should recuse himself from dealing with problems regarding Bob Mueller's fishing expedition... ahem I mean investigations on Trump. It's clearly obvious that Dems want to debilitate Kavanaugh identically like they cunningly did to AG Jeff Sessions. The issue with this is Dems do not realize or just plain ignorant that if they do get Kavanaugh to recuse, they will surely regret of doing this.

Because you see, on Bob Mueller's team of angry Dems, there's a lawyer in the named of Elizabeth Prelogar who used to clerk for Elena Kagan and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

And as you know with Ruth stance on POTUS, she publicly lobbied openly against Trump.

Well guess what, Kagan as well as Ginsburg also have to recuse themselves from dealing any cases that involves with Bob Mueller. On top of that, Ginsburg should also recuse herself from cases involving POTUS personally.

After all, Mueller's special counsel team consist of an operative who in the past used to clerked for SCOTUS Elena Kagan as well as Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Conservative potentially loses one and Dems get the worst of it with not one but 2 lib judges recusing. So Dems just quit obstructing and just let Kavanaugh do what he's destined to do.
