If this deal is anywhere near as bad as May's deal, we're going to see a hard Brexit.

Well, Serrano. How do you see it impacting the GFA? You know, the agreement that the British Govt signed up to?

I wonder does the resurgence of violence in the 6 counties (and maybe beyond) not worry anyone. And that's not just 'RA violence but right across the board.

I also wonder why there is such a rush for Brexit. Perhaps it would be common sense not to rush it along and make sure that the concerns of Ireland are taken on board. After all, the Irish people have been waiting a hundred years for the end of Partition.

The sides fear that controls on the 500-km (300-mile) border with Northern Ireland would undermine the 1998 Good Friday Agreement which ended three decades of sectarian conflict that killed more than 3,600 people.

And yet, for some reason, Trumpists love the idea of Brexit. They're not entirely sure why, but it seems like a real neat thing to be behind. Also, that pesky EU needs dismantling, despite being set up to ensure solidarity, rather than internecine conflicts.

Dare suggest the dismantling of the US, though and you might as well be slaughtering sacred cows. I do think Texit has a nice ring to it, mind.

Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party. The DUP position is unclear.

Arlene's fanciful boasts of Unionist influence in Westminster are looking a bit shakier, these days.
