News coming from the CCP... take them for what they are worth.

Sorry. I do not buy anything China is selling out of it propaganda spin rooms.

China needs to be held accountable for this virus.

Though monetary compensation can not bring loved one's back and does little to fill the hole left in our heart's for loved ones lost directly from this virus. China needs to pay and compensate those who have lost someone to this virus it unleashed on the world. Unleashed you ask? Yes. Thats what I wrote! Because China had an opportunity to contain this and they let it go and dropped the ball. Now it has snowballed and continues to snowball and go out of control.

The Nikkei article below I feel is spot on.

Boris Johnson has tested positive now for the virus. A major world leader.

Lets hope get well and can overcome and heal himself. He is great man.

China needs to be held accountable for this virus.

The Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918 started in a marine barrack in the US.

Does the US need to held accountable?

If so, how?

If not, why not?

Because of wartime censorship the outbreak was not reported in allied media.

Spain was neutral and has no cencorship. Spanish media allerted the rest of the world (including Japan) and it was therefore named the Spanish Flu.

Intelligence tells me that to ignore what comes out of China in any form, is the best route to take given their history of telling the world the opposite of the truth.

Gary, 1. The Spanish Flu was over 100 years ago, long before nearly any of the mechanisms were in place that allow quick and easy communications as is the case today not to mention a world war had just ended and the the planet was just starting to recover. 2. The source of the Spanish Flu is widely debated and no source is known for certain with North America, Europe and China, also on the list of possible starting zones for that Flu as well. 3. China has actively suppressed information about this virus from the beginning, its is likely that even after they have been reporting numbers that these are a fiction due to the criteria they have formed to say who has the a "confirmed case" So yes I think they do have some responsibility because of the way it was handled from the start there.

Let’s be real folks, CCP and the people who got rich by them will do anything to keep hold of their money. I saw video on YouTube of a bridge fight between Wuhan and the next province since the province police blockaded the bridge - a fight broke out between each province police and citizens. China will lie to keep its country together. Their death toll is a lie also. 42,000-48,000 for Wuhan City alone reports seem genuine.

God knows CCP members are going to hell.

Heres the true barometer: when Kim Jong Un opens the border with China we know coronavirus is beaten in Chin, not before.

Do you notice it’s still up........

Where did the Spanish flu come from?

The Spanish flu originated somewhere in northern China in late 1917 and swiftly moved to western Europe with the 140,000 Chinese laborers the French and British governments recruited to perform manual labor to free up troops for wartime duty.

Not unless their safe exit is guaranteed first.

Isn’t living in a democratic country with a market economy great?

China's CCP has brought a whole new meaning to "Swine Flu" it's akin to "Flying Pigs" , so who really trusts their so called Statistics.. to quote Mark Twain... "Lies, damned lies, and statistics". Chinese CCP in a nutshell.

From what I’ve read there are differing opinions on this.

However, the fact that this virus came out of China is pretty clear.

CCP - get your house in order.

@Jimizo - Forget telling the CCP to get their "house in order"... that is a draconian order for the strong armed support of the CCP... it's time to tell the World to get rid of the CCP! They are the ones who brought the current Global Disaster upon us, and they alone, should be brought to the Hague to meet their Justice! (Assuming the Hague survives!)

garymalmgren - The Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918 started in a marine barrack in the US.

The Spanish Flu was first identified by the U.S.. That doesn't mean it began in the U.S.. U.S. Marines were stationed in many countries in 1918, including China.

Please feel free to move to China. I'll be happy to pitch in and get you out of here.

China’s not a democratic country with a market economy.

Me wanting to move there isn’t even a logical inference from me praising Japan’s democracy and market economy.

That’s a matter for the people of China. It’s basically impossible to get polling on what the Chinese people think of the CCP, but in my experience in China and speaking to Chinese people outside of China, my impression is they will be tolerated as long as they continue to deliver economic growth and maintain Chinese unity.

The world needs to tell the CCP to get its house in order.
