"This attack on my credibility is one part of a larger effort ... to taint the FBI, law enforcement, and intelligence professionals more generally."

Like most posters on this board I can have no real idea what all McCabe was involved in, but worry that Trump is in fact trying to undermine the intelligence agencies - who just happen to have the ability to look into his and his family's business dealings in the US and abroad.

Only Trump's remaining and staunchest supporters in the US will look favorably on his ongoing efforts to undermine intelligence agencies, among the other aspects of American democracy he and his staff are trying to undermine.

Sessions, in a statement on Friday, said he felt justified in firing McCabe after the Justice Department's internal watchdog found he leaked information to reporters and misled investigators about his actions.

Jeffrey Beauregard Sessions firing someone for misleading investigators? Irony.

Pretty disgusting, but Trump fans will be on shortly to tell us how this is all sooo wonderful.

12 ( +13 / -1 )

The FBI itself recommended he be fired because of what the inspector general found. Of course he will try to hide behind “but Russia” but the IG is neutral.

-19 ( +1 / -20 )

He was fired just because if he had been allowed to retire he would have picked up $60,000 pa in pensions. More like twofold. Punish him and save the $60,000 but that's just pocket change to the DOJ.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

The FBI itself recommended he be fired because of what the inspector general found. Of course he will try to hide behind “but Russia” but the IG is neutral.

Says who? Jeffrey the perjuring AG?

10 ( +11 / -1 )

The FBI fired him. sessions just accepted it instead of overturning their ruling.

-15 ( +1 / -16 )

You guys perfectly fine with Mike Flynn getting criminally indicted for”lying” but McCabe found to have lied about Clinton email investigation and he gets a pass? Nope! You shall not pass.

-19 ( +1 / -20 )

He was fired just because if he had been allowed to retire he would have picked up $60,000 pa in pensions.

Poor him.

More like twofold. Punish him and save the $60,000 but that's just pocket change to the DOJ.

Perhaps.

"After an extensive and fair investigation and according to Department of Justice procedure, the Department’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provided its report on allegations of misconduct by Andrew McCabe to the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR)," Sessions said.

U.S. Attorney General Sessions fires former FBI no. 2 McCabe

Swamp, meet drain. . . .

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

The FBI fired him. sessions just accepted it instead of overturning their ruling.

Just stop man... You actually believe the FBI would fire a loyal member of their own 2 days before he was eligible for his pension? Over some MAYBE leaked information? This has Trump's name written all over it.

Have you heard of the sunk cost fallacy? I know you invested a lot of into Trump, but it's time to cut your losses. It's only going to get worse the longer you wait.

15 ( +16 / -1 )

"Sessions, in a statement on Friday, said he felt justified in firing McCabe after the Justice Department's internal watchdog found he leaked information to reporters and misled investigators about his actions."

Says the vile little elf that lied under oath about his Russian contacts.

In any case, you don't fire someone the day before they are set to retire over one mistake in a 22-year career. This situation stinks, and Trump's hatred of anyone who is critical of him or who Trump perceives stand in his way is what is behind it.

12 ( +13 / -1 )

Clearly political. Trump tweeted on 12/24/16 (Christmas Eve, you'll notice - that is how much McCabe maddened Trump):

How can FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the man in charge, along with leakin’ James Comey, of the Phony Hillary Clinton investigation (including her 33,000 illegally deleted emails) be given $700,000 for wife’s campaign by Clinton Puppets during investigation?

McCabe's wife's run for a Virginia state office in 2015. The governor of Virginia, also Dem, transferred $700,000 from the State Democratic Party to her campaign. That's how politics works. And it was over well before Trump even declared his candidacy.

A couple of take-aways:

Why is it that McCabe rankles Trump so? His investigation into Clinton's server - and even his allowing those two FBI officials to interview with the WSJ (not exactly a Trump-unfriendly paper) hurt Clinton badly and thus helped Trump.

McCabe spent much time investigating Russian organized crime on the East coast. Just noting that.

This is the second firing conducted outrageously this week, after Tillerson, something sure to anger career civil servants. These people are not toys; they have lives. There will be all the greater hesitation before anyone with talent agrees to jump into the Trump shark pool.

McCabe knows a lot. Mueller will certainly soon learn each and every tiny detail. McCabe might want to keep notes as it will facilitate his inevitable book, which he'll probably try to rush out before the midterms. And why not? If Trump is going to screw him out of his pension, he's gotta make it up somehow. There clearly is no love lost anyway.

Vindictive and short-sighted. Trump is an idiot.

12 ( +13 / -1 )

Of course he will try to hide behind “but Russia” but the IG is neutral.

We need to know the IG's political affiliation and voting record to know whether the IG is neutral. Those are the conservative standards after all.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

The FBI fired him. sessions just accepted it instead of overturning their ruling.

Incorrect. The FBI recommended he be fired. But, as conservatives will tell you, the FBI is corrupt, so this firing is just more corruption.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

@blackl  to hide behind “but Russia”

Thank you for bringing up the ongoing investigations into Russian involvements with Trump, his family and so many of his appointees.

Hopefully Trump and the GOP will let the investigations continue and won't try to stop them. The world needs to see whether there has been collusion and whether the Trump-Kushners have been doing illegal business with Putin and his oligarchs.

I think most Americans want the intelligence agencies to be allowed to continue looking into the Russian connections. Not many Americans I know want to see Russia or any foreign country interfere with the country any more than they might have.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Swamp, meet drain. . . .

Trump has turned the swamp into a cesspool. Go Trump!

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Incorrect. The FBI recommended he be fired. But, as conservatives will tell you, the FBI is corrupt, so this firing is just more corruption.

No, conservatives don’t think The FBI is corrupt, only the top echelon officials. But anyway he’s gone and that’s a huge sigh of relief.

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

Yep cause they just did. The office of professional responsibility made that recommendation to the DOJ. Fact. Not no evidence Russia nonsense

Just stop man... You actually believe the FBI would fire a loyal member of their own 2 days before he was eligible for his pension? Over some MAYBE leaked information? This has Trump's name written all over it.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

No, conservatives don’t think The FBI is corrupt, only the top echelon officials. But anyway he’s gone and that’s a huge sigh of relief.

So it's not the top echelon that does the firing?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Ok let’s play word games. The FBI recommended he be fired based on the IG investigation. Sessions could accept it decline. He accepted their recommendation.

-15 ( +1 / -16 )

Given Trump's hired so many lobbyists and so many of them have thrived while he's in office, I wonder if he'll continue to dip into his expanding self-made swamp and appoint one of them to replace people he's having fired.

Lobbyists are accustomed to living large and because they're right there in DC can easily see how extravagantly Trump's appointees are living on the taxpayer's dollars and must be envious. No doubt Trump will let them continue their own private businesses, just like he is.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

"It's absolutely unacceptable the way this has gone down this week. The way Donald Trump is taunting people. The way that he's humiliating ourselves internationally. We have the Stormy Daniels' situation brewing. He's a president that's coming unglued. He's not right in personality or in thought or in action, and we did see that with Nixon when the pressure of Watergate came on when Nixon would bark all sorts of odd orders to people and people didn't follow them. This time around people followed them and the person that let us down is Jeff Sessions. The Attorney General either needed to recuse himself or not played into this political hit job that Donald Trump's just done on McCabe, and in FBI history to have this happen to a man of that distinguished caliber and to be treated in this shabby way and the way Rex Tillerson was treated this week. It's something diabolical about it and I hope more people are waking up to Donald Trump's total fear of the Mueller investigation."

-------D. Brinkley, presidential historian on CNN 3/17/2018

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Ok let’s play word games. The FBI recommended he be fired based on the IG investigation. Sessions could accept it decline. He accepted their recommendation.

Being accurate is not playing a word game.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

I trust Sessions over the tabloid media.

Trusting a dude that's lied to congress. Smart move.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

On an FBI note, what's Mueller going to do with the Russia VTB connection? Was it something McCabe was looking into? If so, I could see why Trump would want him gone.

http://www.businessinsider.com/felix-sater-confirms-trump-pursued-deal-with-sanctioned-russian-bank-2018-3

7 ( +8 / -1 )

So it's not the top echelon that does the firing?

Sessions is slow granted, but even he could smell the corruption of these thugs.

Trusting a dude that's lied to congress. Smart move.

Everyone lies, but McCabe was the worst and his closest friends are the McAuliffe’s who helped fund his wife’s campaign? Wow! At least he can now reflect on his and remember that crime doesn’t pay.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

On an FBI note, what's Mueller going to do with the Russia VTB connection?

Trump doing business with a sanctioned Russian bank. Nothing to see here! What about Clinton not selling uranium to Russia? What about Clinton not meddling in the Russian elections?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

"It's absolutely unacceptable the way this has gone down this week. The way Donald Trump is taunting people. The way that he's humiliating ourselves internationally. We have the Stormy Daniels' situation brewing. He's a president that's coming unglued

No, the left is coming unglued thinking they have the right to unseat a sitting President.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

No, the left is coming unglued thinking they have the right to unseat a sitting President.

No, the right refuses to call out Trump's bumbling incompetence and instead try to spin it as if he's a genius.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

McCabe wasn’t “looking into” anything. He was sent home in January cause the FBI knew this was coming from the IG.

all the deflections from the topic making me dizzy. This guy fired for mishandling the Clinton emails and investigation. So that means by default they investigation WAS mishandled. Proof. Not speculation.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

"Mueller's investigation"

How much has this witch hunt cost taxpayers so far?

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

Bass, keeping it consistent by posting irrelevant responses.

...that liberals hate to hear.

McCabe is the worst? Publicly available records show Trump is far worse.

Some may believe that and others don’t. I personally think a Federal agent trying to weaponize his department in order to oust a sitting President deserves more than just having his pension being taken away.

Great news.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

McCabe wasn’t “looking into” anything. He was sent home in January cause the FBI knew this was coming from the IG

You must have inside knowledge.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

How much has this witch hunt cost taxpayers so far?

And how many criminals had it brought to justice? Exactly, that means it's not a waste of money. Oh my . . .

6 ( +7 / -1 )

The office of professional responsibility made that recommendation to the DOJ. Fact.

You're right, that is a fact. But it's also a fact that there was significant pressure from Trump on all parties involved to fire McCabe. The question is why?

The DOJ recommended his firing because he lied under oath. We don't know exactly what he lied about, but its rumored that it had to do with his disclosure of his involvement in the Clinton email investigation to press which ended up HELPING Trump win the election.

Do you actually believe Trump of all people would put that much pressure to fire someone over LYING? About something that helped him?

Or is it because McCabe is set to testify as a witness for James Comey?

7 ( +8 / -1 )

The DOJ recommended his firing because he lied under oath. We don't know exactly what he lied about, but its rumored that it had to do with his disclosure of his involvement in the Clinton email investigation to press which ended up HELPING Trump win the election.

Yes, forget the fact that Clinton was just a God-awful candidate.

Or is it because McCabe is set to testify as a witness for James Comey?

I think both mean are in a lot of trouble.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

The FBI has leaked information more than Oil drum with a hole in the bottom in decade. Americans always wanted to be someone else in their lifetime and FBI's employees too. The journalists are also very good sniffer like rats and dogs and they know where they can find and who they have to approach.

McCabe was a life long Republican but his wife was Democrat and candidate for Democrat to ran public office. Also, she had received money from an ally of the Hillary Clintons. She has to give back something to the person who generously donated fund for her unsuccessful campaign for Senate. Political donation was not always freed and it has to be paid back with something at some point. No doubt about his wife received money from an ally of Hillary Clinton will have compromised investigation into Hillary Clinton use of private email server.

McCabe should not be given the duty to investigate Hillary Clinton use of private email server while she was Secretary of State, regardless. Why it has to be McCabe? The FBI has over 35,104 employees. Is there anyone from those 35,104 FBI employees qualified to handle it?

The FBI has a serious problem and it needs to be fixed. A current FBI organization can not protect Americans from terrorism and cyber attack from rogue nations.

Former FBI boss and high rank FBI employees must take responsibility for failing to detect and prevent foreign hackers and Governments’ agents’ infiltration and meddling of American Presidential Election. They all should have been fired long ago. It’s wasting tax payers’ money.

McCabe can still make millions dollars by writing tell all book.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

...that liberals hate to hear.

Most intelligent people hate irrelevant responses, not just liberals.

Some may believe that and others don’t. I personally think a Federal agent trying to weaponize his department in order to oust a sitting President deserves more than just having his pension being taken away.

McCabe wasn't fired for weaponizing the FBI to try and oust Trump. Where did you come up with that? Weird.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Yes, forget the fact that Clinton was just a God-awful candidate.

That's why millions more voters chose her over Trump.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Most intelligent people hate irrelevant responses, not just liberals.

Good then we’re in agreement.

McCabe wasn't fired for weaponizing the FBI to try and oust Trump. Where did you come up with that? Weird

How do you know he wasn’t? Odd.

That's why millions more voters chose her over Trump.

California doesn’t dictate the outcome of an election only the EC does.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

I think both mean are in a lot of trouble.

Then again, you think everyone Trump turns on are in a lot of trouble. It's almost as if you can't think for yourself, which is a hallmark of conservativism.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

"That's why millions more voters chose her over Trump."

Take out nutty California which also elected those nutcases Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters, and Trump won the popular vote in the other 49 states combined.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

Good then we’re in agreement.

If you agree that you constantly post irrelevant responses, yes. I guess I can just start up calling you on it all the time.

How do you know he wasn’t

I read the article. You made the assertion, so it's on you to provide some sort of evidence.

California doesn’t dictate the outcome of an election only the EC does

The EC doesn't dictate who the people favor, the popular vote does.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Take out nutty California which also elected those nutcases Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters, and Trump won the popular vote in the other 49 states combined.

Doesnt matter given California was, and still is part of the US.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Then again, you think everyone Trump turns on are in a lot of trouble. It's almost as if you can't think for yourself, which is a hallmark of conservativism.

No, just the upper echelons in the FBI and some in the DOJ from the last administration and the vast majority of the Democrats.

I read the article. You made the assertion, so it's on you to provide some sort of evidence.

I already did on so many occasions.

The EC doesn't dictate who the people favor, the popular vote does.

Doesn't matter, that’s our system. California can’t dictate How the country should be governed.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

But anyway he’s gone and that’s a huge sigh of relief.

For Trump, yes. But only momentarily.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

For Trump, yes. But only momentarily.

Maybe Wrey is next or maybe Rosenstein?

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

No, just the upper echelons in the FBI and some in the DOJ from the last administration and the vast majority of the Democrats.

The upper echelons of the FBI and DOJ that decided to, and fired McCabe? So those people are corrupt, which means McCabe's firing was another act of corruption.

I already did on so many occasions.

Your common, non-answer when pressed for evidence to back up an asinine assertion. You haven't given any evidence that McCabe "weaponized the FBI to unseat Trump. Kuddos! ROFL!

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Doesn't matter, that’s our system. California can’t dictate How the country should be governed.

Glad to see you don't care about tgevwill if the people.

No, California can't dictate how the country should be governed and it doesn't, it leads by example. Like Donny does.

Trump and his people are really vengeful. The world should be afraid. Very afraid.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Oh my.

The heat is on for the Trump crime family.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Trump is getting desperate. Fires McCabe to discredit him as a witness against Trump’s possible obstruction of justice. Which is just more obstruction.

I am looking forward to the day when Trump gets the justice he deserves for a lifetime of deceit.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Drain the swamp!

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

You’re fired!! Lol

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Watch out Trump supporters, if any. His camp. Prefer to punish supporters.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Somehow it was plenty that Flynn was fired AND indicted just for supposedly lying.

But liberals have all these excuses why it was fine for McCabe to lie. And the IG has actual proof so let’s wait and see what he was fired for lying ABOUT.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

Trump and other Republicans have accused McCabe, a lifelong Republican who worked at the FBI for more than 20 years, of political bias

So many Republicans being accused by other Republicans of bias and corruption. Aren't Comey, Rosenstein, and Mueller also Republican? Must be something in the party.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s fiery statement about Sessions’s decision to fire him

He made his bed and let him wallow in it. He’s still young, he can get a book deal. I’m sure Kimmel or Cobert would love to have him on as a guest. The guy can make a few million, cover his lost. So all this doom and gloom. McCabd will be fine.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

But liberals have all these excuses why it was fine for McCabe to lie.

But liberals. Yeah, right.

If he lied, it wasn't OK. Go ahead and investigate him. I have considerable trust in the dedication and professionalism of the vast majority of the judiciary, and the institutions that support them in support of the pursuit of justice. The President of the United States holds that these pillars of civic life are either beneath his status and "intelligence" to warrant attention, or a nuisance to his self-enrichment.

But liberals have all these excuses why it was fine for McCabe to lie.

Come on, man, put it all in perspective. No one had any problem with McCabe until Trump showed up.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Yeah it’s fun seeing liberals trying to figure out if their position is that the FBI is fair and honest or corrupt. It was fair and honest and unbiased when it related to Flynn but now liberals aren’t sure what to do or say.

The IG report will get Comey and others too. Looking forward to it.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

He made his bed and let him wallow in it.

Mixed metaphor of the week! I love it.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

It was fair and honest and unbiased when it related to Flynn but now liberals aren’t sure what to do or say.

As a liberal, I'd say the FBI is as fair, honest, and unbiased as it has been in considerable memory. You're pushing the narrative that McCabe's sacking is because the FBI wanted him out. They're going to fire the guy after a 20-year career the day before his official retirement because of some unspecified misrepresentation about Hillary Clinton's emails? Gimme a break. The feds don't go after their own that way.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Yet they did.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

“During these inquiries, I answered questions truthfully and as accurately as I could amidst the chaos that surrounded me.”

bet he never accepted this nonsense from someone he investigated.  How many lives did he ruin in the same way he is now being held accountable?

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

Also you have to consider the FBI removed him from his job in January, he had no intention of retiring if not for that.

So why was he removed in Jan if he did nothing wrong? Wait until IG report and he will probably be indicted too. He is lucky if his job is all he loses.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

Blacklabel: "How many lives did he ruin in the same way he is now being held accountable?"

So, he "ruined lives", but he "is being held accountable"? None of the others you use politically here were, of course, right? And if you honestly believe the FBI did this, you've got your head up Trump's butt further than anyone could have believed. Your staccato posts are nearly as desperate as the WH with its revolving door spinning like a tornado.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Former CIA director John Brennan has weighed in on Trump:

When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America...America will triumph over you.

C'mon, John - tell us how you really feel!

(Actually, I'd wager the vast majority of intelligence service professionals feel the same.)

5 ( +6 / -1 )

This is Political payback and will be litigated. Be careful, Republicans, what you are creating; you will soon be out of power and are ushering in some dangerous precedents that you may soon regret.

you will soon be out of power and are ushering in some dangerous precedents that you may soon regret.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Yep mike Flynn is broke and had to sell his house. Was fired AND indicted even it’s not really clear if he lied or not. That’s being held accountable so why can’t McCabe be too as he lied as well.

i been here since 2003 under this name.

@smithinjapan

They never change, though the names might.

You might be right, but I really wish otherwise.

@Blacklabel

But liberals have all these excuses why it was fine for McCabe to lie.

People who haven't gone all in for Trump don't think it's fine for McCabe to lie. But the only reason any of us are talking about a fired FBI agent who hasn't committed high treason is because as with everything, Trump announced to the world his disdain for McCabe via Twitter... and lo and behold, he was fired.

Just like when Comey was fired, it's natural to wonder WHY when the official reason makes ZERO sense. He pushed hard to fire the guy who is going to testify on behalf of the other guy he fired for dubious (Russia-related) reasons. It seems like such an obvious ploy to preemptively discredit someone that it's almost laughable, but clearly it works with some people.

And the IG has actual proof so let’s wait and see what he was fired for lying ABOUT.

Would it kill you to carry that "wait and see" attitude over to the Mueller investigation? Because it REALLY seems like Trump's hiding something (probably Russian money laundering).

5 ( +7 / -2 )

McCabe has been scapegoated and made an example of even though it's not really clear if he lied.

McCabe lied to internal FBI investigators and to the inspector general. The career employees at the departments internal personnel agency recommended he be terminated. Sessions simply took their unbiased recommendation. Trump is happy of course because it is so obvious that he is being persecuted for the crime of upsetting Hillary in the presidential election. For Dems, taking an unbiased recommendation from career bureaucrats in the FBI is an outrage if it damages their goal of overthrowing the American government as presently constituted.

McCabe did what he has prosecuted ordinary Americans for over his 21 year career - lying under oath. The same offense that Flynn is being prosecuted for. But this is just the tip of the FBI corruption iceberg. It has just been learned from the text messages between Peter Strzok and his Mueller team lover Lisa Page that Strzok was a close personal friend of the the FISA court judge that approved his court filing with it's Russian fed misinformation on Trump. The same evidence gathered by a foreign ex-spy who hates Trump and who gathered his information from Kremlin operatives. The same evidence paid for by Hillary Clinton's election campaign who laundered payments through a law firm hoping to disguised her connection to the dirty deed. Not coincidentally, the FBI tried to keep the connection between Clinton and the dossier secret from the public. Still lots of corruption left to be exposed.

Looking forward to the inspector generals report that is due out within the next month. We need a second independent council to go after the collusion between the Clinton campaign, the FBI, and the State Department to interfere in the 2016 election.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

The utter pettiness of firing him just as he was retiring. Nothing says WH is at war with the FBI better than this

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Copy oooof Mc and Trump communication is in Meullers'. hand, report says?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Whatever hold they have on Trump (apparently a video of a rather kinky act),

We are talking about Russia, if they had something serious on Trump like a sex tape (and Trump has already hit them with sanctions) they would have released it by now if such a tape even exists and few weeks ago, he killed a few Russian fighters in Syria. So this stupid tinfoil Oliver Stone hypothetical that the left all of a sudden is throwing out there shows how desperate these people are about this President. Lol

will probably find its way onto the internet whenever he ceases to be of use and the Moscow troll factories will change their poster names and find another way of spreading disinformation.

What?

As the net closes in on Trump, we will get closer to the time that his time will be up. Until then, he will get even more desperate by trying to fire his way to safety.

Yes, if the FBI had something on Trump as well, they would have snagged him as well.

I don’t think he needs to worry about anything, now Rosenstein and Wrey on the other hand.....

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

The career employees at the departments internal personnel agency recommended he be terminated.

But we all know from conservatives that the FBI is corrupt. This means the IG report isn't credible and McCabe's firing is just another act of corruption. Here is a quote to demonstrate how corrupt the FBI is:

But this is just the tip of the FBI corruption iceberg

ROFL!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

. It has just been learned from the text messages between Peter Strzok and his Mueller team lover Lisa Page that Strzok was a close personal friend of the the FISA court judge that approved his court filing with it's Russian fed misinformation on Trump

Let's fact check a conservative:

The federal judge who presided over former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s case last year before mysteriously being recused had a personal relationship with anti-Trump FBI official Peter Strzok, according to text mesages obtained and reviewed by Fox News.

www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/03/16/strzok-page-texts-reveal-personal-relationship-between-fbi-official-and-judge-recused-from-flynn-case.amp.html

Oh look, the conservative is utterly incorrect. The judge the conservative was talking about presided over the Flynn case, not the Carter Page case. Nice publishing of an intentional falsehood by a comservative.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

But we all know from conservatives that the FBI is corrupt.

No, just the top echelon are.

This means the IG report isn't credible and McCabe's firing is just another act of corruption.

Seems like McCabe was taking notes on Trump, during his hearing last year, he was asked about that, he said, no.

The man lied and that’s a violation of conduct, so now the man was terminated for not holding the same standards the department would impose on the people they investigate. Either way, the man is done like French toast.

Oh look, the conservative is utterly incorrect. The judge the conservative was talking about presided over the Flynn case, not the Carter Page case. Nice publishing of an intentional falsehood by a comservative.

Sorry, doesn’t pass the smelly fish test. Strzok hos Goomah Page were going to meet with the Judge presiding over Flynn’s case. FISC Judge Contreras who was accused just a few days for some unknown reason hmmmmm had to all of a sudden recuse himself (wonder why?) Liberals will justify any wrongdoing from these corrupt officials. Yeah, worked out so well. Curses! Foiled again!

Wow, Sessions woke up! The big question is, will he ever get around to indicting Hillary, or will he go back to sleep?

You may remember that in January 2017 Sessions vowed under oath to recuse himself from all matters related to investigations of Russian meddling AND Clinton’s emails. It seems that by firing McCabe, Sessions has broken that promise. And you can bet why. Trump is getting scared and is howling for blood. Sessions wants to keep his job.

Desperate times.

Who is corrupt at the FBI?

Yes, but that has nothing to do with possible eithics or perjury violations.

It seems that by firing McCabe, Sessions has broken that promise.

Not at all and not if there was substantial evidence of McCabe abusing his authority.

And you can bet why. Trump is getting scared and is howling for blood. Sessions wants to keep his job.

Uh-huh....sure....lol

No, just the top echelon are

And the IG is part of the top echelon, which means the IG report won't be credible. The top echelon does the firing, so McCabe's firing is another act of corruption. Kuddos!

It doesn't matter whether it passes a conservative smell test because the facts are Strzok was not friends either the judge that approved the FISA warrant against Carter Page. You conservatives are trying your hardest to conflate the two judges, but they are two different people.

This means yet again conservatives are being dishonest for political purposes. They are like the bald guy with a combover, only fooling themselves. ROFL! Dear lord! Oh my.

Trump is getting scared and is howling for blood. Sessions wants to keep his job.

Trump getting scared explains why he's on a firing rampage at the WH. He's turning out the adults for Yes people so he feels more secure. Brilliant strategy except the yes people won't be able to preven Trump from digging the hole deeper.

You clearly don't understand how recusal works. Sessions recused himself from Russia investigations and Clinton emails. McCabe was canned for actions related to Clinton's emails. McCane was canned by Sessions. This means Sessions was involved in Clinton's emails AFTER he recused himself.

Your hilarious atttempts to paint any actions by Trump and his boot lickers as legitimate reeks of desperation. They are also side-splittingly funny.

He’s scared? But he wants to meet with Mueller and answering any question he has willingly against the advice of his legal counsel. Wow, don’t know too many alleged guilty people that want to talk freely to the Feds.

You clearly don't understand how recusal works.

I do, but apparently the left doesn’t OR refuses to.

Attempts? Desperation? Good lord, Lol! You think so, I don’t.

Sessions and Trump just added more ammo against themselves in their obstruction cases.

I thought Trump was supposed to be a stable genius. These the moves of a unstable moron.

Sessions and Trump just added more ammo against themselves in their obstruction cases.

I think it might be the other way around.

I think it might be the other way around.

Ok, I'll say it that way then:

Trump and Sessions just added more ammo against themselves in their obstruction cases.

Yeah, only people too stupid to realize they are guilty would want to do such a thing.

If this were remotely true, Trump would already have a meeting set with Mueller. Counsel cannot force a client to do anything.

Wow, don’t know too many alleged guilty people that want to talk freely to the Feds

You mean claim they want to talk and then hide behind their lawyers.

No, Trump wanted to, but when thinking about it, why would you ever give an interview to a man that’s trying to take you down, I wouldn’t either.

You mean claim they want to talk and then hide behind their lawyers.

Oh, don’t go there, so many Presidents and politicians have done this HW Bush flat out refused to talk to the Feds as did Reagan. So nothing new here.

This is a win for reinstating democracy within the FBI. The Office of Professional Responsibility uncovered facts on a corrupt member and acted ethically and with force.

This was an act of great integrity by Sessions who knows very well the backlash he will face from the lunatic left and MSM. A good sign that Hillary Clinton might actually see the prison time she deserves.

So, Clam, the FBI isn't corrupt?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

why would you ever give an interview to a man that’s trying to take you down, I wouldn’t either.

Any evidence that Mueller is motivated by a desire to "take down" Trump? I mean, besides the fact that Trump and his supporters don't like the Trump Empire being under investigation for possible (key word: possible) wrongdoing? Isn't that what investigators, including special counsel, are supposed to do?

Ditto your assertion that the top echelon of the FBI is riddled with partisan corrupt "thugs". Most of them lifelong Republicans. Some even once hailed by Trump as great people (Wray, Rosenstein, Comey) until their professionalism ran afoul of a president who is too dumb and too vain to be bothered with basic questions of ethics or the workings of government.

good on Sessions. Man, I’d pin a medal on him if I could.

Take my word for it, man. You're going to change your tune when Sessions gets the boot. At that point you'll lump him in with all the others you've characterized as deep state corrupt partisans who want to "take down" Trump. Just wait.

And none of us will be surprised or fooled by another 180 from the resident ice skater.

I feel Strzok will be fired next, at least that’s what I hope.

Maybe along with Sessions. All must be purged to protect our Trump. It is in Him alone that we find our salvation. Stay strong, brother!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

So who are the people at the FBI who are corrupt?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Fact: Trump has admitted he fired McCabe to get him away from the collusion investigation.

Fact: McCabe has annouced that Mueller is will be pressing treason charges against Trump.

Fact: Trump is a treasonous president.

And the right loves him for his treason. The right hate America. The right hate the constitution. The right want a dictatorship. Fact.

Bass: I have almost just as much mistrust of the establishment Republicans as I do of the Democrat ones,

What do you think of the establishment Republican, Mike Pence?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

What do you think of the establishment Republican, Mike Pence?

I like Pence. There are some Republicans in the establishment that I do like, but overall, I'm not fan of the establishment and the Democrats especially.

Yep, it's a fact.

Where and when?

Well, that's your opinion, but it's a fact that the right hate America and hate the constitution.

No, that's not a fact, that's the lefts sad partisan view of the facts once again. The left hate America, that's why they want to turn it into Europe 2.0! No thanks!

Don't even go there. It's a fact that the right wants America to be a dictatorship ROFL.

We just got of one last year. Relief!
