A disgrace. The whole world must mobilise against the US. Enough is enough, boycott as many products as you can, for starters.

Good thing Bolton is on the case. His track record in the ME is impeccable, so we can all breath a sigh of relief.

Waste of time and effort, another distraction from Trump's failed global policies. An appeal to the ultra-rightists in the Cuban-American community and elsewhere.

Read up on how the pre-Castro Cuban .01% backed by a brutal police force, the US mafia and other powerful forces treated the Cuban population.

Just needless antagonization.

President Donald Trump's national security adviser John Bolton on Wednesday will explain the administration's decision in a speech in Miami and will also announce new sanctions on Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, countries he has branded a "troika of tyranny"

Neocons gonna neocon.

If the US wants to impose its laws on me then I demand it gives me the right to vote, otherwise it can get stuffed.

Well, this Canadian just made a decision about where he's going to spend his six-week holiday, this year. And Trump can stick it up his proverbial. I'm going to Cuba!

Good move, about time.

Wait until the international lawsuits start arriving on all the misappropriated Cuban assets prior to 1959. Let's start with every share holder of the United Fruit Company , and go from there. Trump is a reckless idiot.

Yeah, great move because Cuba is such a huge threat to the US.

Why are cons so filled with fear?

When Cuba can give it’s people freedom, equal rights and stop imprisoning political opponents then their can be a discussion, but as long as they keep their knees on the necks of the people, we shouldn’t do any business with that regime.

Why are cons so filled with fear?

Not fear, just we don’t need to support communist leaders, we already have to deal with our own socialists, big headache.

Vietnam did neither of those things, and yet this is what Trump said during his state visit in Vietnam:

"Today the Vietnamese economy is one of the fastest-growing on earth… We know it is in America’s interests to have partners throughout this region that are thriving, prosperous, and dependent on no one… We want strong partners, not weak neighbors. And above all, we seek friendship." -- President Donald J. Trump
