More than 90 million vote early as Trump, Biden make late campaign push

A record 90 million Americans have voted early in the U.S. presidential election, data on Saturday showed, as President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden campaigned across the country to try to sway the few remaining undecided voters.

The high number of early voters, about 65% of the total turnout in 2016, reflects intense interest in the contest, with three days of campaigning left.

Concerns about exposure to the coronavirus at busy Election Day voting places on Tuesday have also pushed up the numbers of people voting by mail or at early in-person polling sites.

Trump, a Republican, is spending the closing days of his re-election campaign criticizing public officials and medical professionals who are trying to combat the coronavirus pandemic even as it surges back across the United States.

Opinion polls show Trump trailing former Vice President Biden nationally, but with a closer contest in the most competitive states that will decide the election. Voters say the coronavirus is their top concern.

Trump has repeatedly claimed without evidence that mail-in ballots are susceptible to fraud and has more recently argued that only the results available on election night should count. In a flurry of legal motions, his campaign has sought to restrict absentee balloting.

"I don’t care how hard Donald Trump tries. There’s nothing – let me say that again – there’s nothing that he can do to stop the people of this nation from voting in overwhelming numbers and taking back this democracy,” Biden said at a rally in Flint, Michigan, where he was joined by former President Barack Obama for their first 2020 campaign event together.

Officials in several states, including Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, say it could take several days to count all of those mail ballots, meaning there could be days of uncertainty if the outcome hinges on those states.

At a small, in-person rally in Newtown, Pennsylvania, Trump mocked his opponent for his criticism of the administration's record of fighting COVID-19, which has killed more people in the United States than in any other country.

"I watched Joe Biden speak yesterday. All he talks about is COVID, COVID. He's got nothing else to say. COVID, COVID," Trump told the crowd, some of whom did not wear masks.

He said the United States was "just weeks away" from mass distribution of a safe vaccine against COVID-19, which is pushing hospitals to capacity and killing up to 1,000 people in the United States each day. Trump gave no details to back up his remarks about an imminent vaccine.

In his closing arguments, Biden has accused Trump of being a bully, criticized his lack of a strategy to control the pandemic, which has killed nearly 229,000 Americans; his efforts to repeal the Obamacare healthcare law; and his disregard for science on climate change. He has offered his own made-in-America economic platform, a contrast with Trump's "America First" approach, saying he will get the wealthy to pay their fair share and make sure earnings are distributed more equitably.

STANFORD REPORT

Stanford University economists on Saturday released an estimate that Trump rallies held from June to September led to more than 30,000 additional COVID-19 infections and possibly as many as 700 deaths. The study was based on a statistical model and not actual investigations of coronavirus cases. The paper, which did not cite disease experts among its authors, has not been peer-reviewed.

Public health officials have repeatedly warned that Trump campaign events could hasten the spread of the virus, particularly those held in places where infection rates were already on the rise. Determining the actual impact of those rallies on infection rates has been difficult due to the lack of robust contact tracing in many U.S. states.

Amesh Adalja, an infectious diseases expert at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, described the report as"suggestive."

“I would just say it’s suggestive but hard to completely isolate the specific impact of one event without robust contact trace data from the cases,” Adalja said.

Biden’s campaign, which has sharply limited crowd sizes at events or restricted supporters to their cars, quickly seized on the Stanford findings.

"Trump doesn't even care about the very lives of his strongest supporters," Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement. Trump's campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the report.

On Saturday, Trump was focused on campaigning in Pennsylvania, with a total of four rallies planned.

“If we win Pennsylvania, it’s over,” Trump said during his second rally of the day, in Reading.

The state has not as yet seen the dramatic rises in coronavirus cases that are threatening hospital capacity in Wisconsin and other battleground states. Still, nearly 8,700 people in the state have died of the disease.

So it's just pre-election politicized BS.

At least he's not spewing lies. The Republicans brought this on themselves.

As Trump's son-in-law Jared said

Trump Was Taking Country 'Back From the Doctors'

https://www.complex.com/life/2020/10/jared-kushner-trump-taking-country-back-from-the-doctors

Taking the country back from doctors and leaving roughly 40,000,000 Americans with NO HEALTHCARE and/or no money to pay for it.

I wonder how many Trump backers will get sick at this latest superspreader event. I wonder how many of them will have no health insurance.

No, its a projection based on statistical data about how the disease spreads. If you follow the methods anybody can reach the same conclusion.

To say it is invalid you need to criticize the methods, and prove why they are not predictive, saying that it would be more precise with tracing is not the same as saying it is worthless.

"I don’t care how hard Donald Trump tries. There’s nothing – let me say that again – there’s nothing that he can do to stop the people of this nation from voting in overwhelming numbers and taking back this democracy,”

Does Joe care that people aren’t voting for him?

Probably not, as he can’t keep up...

"I watched Joe Biden speak yesterday. All he talks about is COVID, COVID. He's got nothing else to say. COVID, COVID," Trump told the crowd, some of whom did not wear masks.

trump probably doesn’t know but there are 9 million cases and 250,000 people dead in the US due to Covid.

His rallies in the past 2 weeks have resulted in 70,000 infections and at least 500 dead.

The US had 1 million new infections in the past 2 weeks......

Can someone tell him that!!

3 ( +13 / -10 )

If he would if took the virus more seriously, he would not succumbed to the virus

3 ( +11 / -8 )

Making America Sick Again should be a more appropriate slogan for trump now.

7 ( +15 / -8 )

When I look at the rallies, I see Biden running up the stairs and trump shuffling down the ramp!!!

Says more about fitness than anything else!!!

5 ( +14 / -9 )

I want one of those hats!

Considering that Trump will become famous as the worst president in the history of the United States, and having contributed to the death of more Americans than any event in our history, the hats may become worth a fortune to collectors in the future. Or maybe just trash ...

5 ( +13 / -8 )

100,000 new cases on Friday, hitting 9 million, certainly makes it all about Covid-19 regardless of how bored Trump is over it.

5 ( +11 / -6 )

@Hiro,

first it was throwing toilet paper at people, now it's those hats.

He just doesn't have anything better on hand!

Elsewise, the campaigning starts to look more than ugly, with one event already cancelled due to .... well, take a guess. Trump and his family are dividing the country even more during the last stage!

6 ( +11 / -5 )

I think Americans need to do some deep introspection to figure out how we got to this place. Our population exceeds 350,000,000 and this is what we have to offer. It is a pretty sad state of affairs.

The shortcomings of Trump are obvious and he has mismanaged the pandemic with statements that leave me wondering if he wants to lose intentionally (the statements are that bad).

On the other hand we have another candidate who has a website (antifa.com) which redirects to his campaign and has an up and coming scandal that is probably and unfortunately real (there is a reason Jack Dorsey reactivated the NY Post account).

I know as a liberal I am supposed to blindly jump on board and vote for Biden but in good conscience I cannot.

I am going to sit this year out. Come on U.S.; we can do alot better.

-7 ( +9 / -16 )

100,000 new cases on Friday, hitting 9 million, certainly makes it all about Covid-19 regardless of how bored Trump is over it.

And I bet 100,000yen that you are living your life as you did a year ago but for some reason can't stop complaining how people are living theirs.

-10 ( +3 / -13 )

one really wonders if being a jerk comes naturally to Trump or if he has to work at it.

2 ( +7 / -5 )

@Serrano

I understand your sentiments and I am sure you have a reason for taking your position.

I cannot move myself to vote for either candidate. Both parties can do alot better than what has been put forward. Regardless of who wins there is going to be internal strife and turmoil likely beyond what we are seeing now.

The number 1 job of the winner, far beyond everything else, is to try to reunite the nation and get people who disagree to be able to talk to each other again in a civilized manner. This is something I do not think Trump is capable of doing and is one of the reasons I would not be able to move myself in the other direction to vote for him.

If the U.S. continues to be this divided moving forward then nothing else (even Covid-19) will really matter in the long run as the U.S. will self destruct from within.

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

Make the USA Sane Again ... if you have not voted yet, do so by Tuesday!

It’s a good example of how the Left uses science for propaganda purposes. There is no compunction over reporting “science” damning of a political opponent that isn’t actually science. Nice job JT for including that “factoid” in this article.

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

I honestly don't know how anyone can vote for any Democrats. They are divisive and exclusive. Last election they excluded a bunch of voters labelling them deplorables, now they exclude Catholics (denouncing and disparaging Amy Coney Barrett) before she has even been appointed and all because of her devout Catholicism.

They've excluded miners, energy workers, still towing the deceptive Al Gore lines.

Pretty soon they'll exclude just about everyone, except die hard Democrats.

-4 ( +8 / -12 )

*Taking the country back from doctors and leaving roughly 40,000,000 Americans with NO HEALTHCARE and/or no money to pay for it. *

Obama had 8 years to come up with an affordable healthcare option for the 22 million that didn’t have AHC and what he and the Democrats created was anything but affordable, quality and No, you couldn’t keep your doctor and granted I think both parties should have come together on this, not giving the GOP a pass, but the Democrat option hasn’t worked for the overwhelming majority of Americans, been a burden financially on the middle class, a lot of doctors and hospitals don’t want to take it, many left the exchange and in its current form it will become more unaffordable.

I wonder how many Trump backers will get sick at this latest superspreader event.

Seems like none of the rioters and looters were getting sick, so I think these people peacefully coming together will be just fine.

I wonder how many of them will have no health insurance.

I’m quite sure most of the rioters don’t have health insurance or maybe some employee insurance.

-5 ( +8 / -13 )

@Sh1mon - I cannot see how anyone can vote for either party at this moment but it seems I am in the minority with this thought. Regarding your statement;

One of my friends is a black pilot for a major airline who voted for Trump the last election. I disagreed with him but I respected his choice to vote for the candidate he wanted. He was less than impressed with Trump and was all set to vote against him until Biden said, "'If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black".

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/05/22/politics/biden-charlamagne-tha-god-you-aint-black/index.html

That was the end of his vote for Biden (and from what he says several of his black friends). He said in his opinion it was a very strong form of racism (saying a black man is not black if he does not vote a certain way).

This is one of the reasons I cannot support Biden.

Well, I suppose he’s not lying, he just didn’t mention how many weeks.

Which he was obviously able to live with until he got Covid at a Trump rally which killed him, sad.

Suggestive is the correct term as it's a model. However such a result would normally encourage a contact tracing investigation to see how accurate it is. It certainly wouldn't be zero

Repubs failed math and science though so it's not for them anyway

They can go back to their pickup trucks

5 ( +9 / -4 )

Too bad he had a preexisting medical condition, sad.

Too bad a large percentage of the United States population has a 'preexisting medical condition.'

https://www.hhs.gov/fitness/resource-center/facts-and-statistics/index.html

80% of adults do not meet the government guidelines on exercise.

78 million adults and 12.5 million minors are obese (a preexisting condition)

Just counting that, and not including conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and others (which may or may not overlap with the obesity numbers), that is a staggering 90-100 million Americans (roughly 1 in 3) who have a 'preexisting condition.'

But yeah, let's just keep tossing out red hats and ignoring steps that can be taken now, today, to reduce the risk these 100 million people face. Yes, we can talk about improving health and eating habits, etc at the right time, but for now, wear the damn mask, accept the damn facts, and stop trying to excuse the inexcusable.

Too bad a large percentage of the United States population has a 'preexisting medical condition.'

Then everyone needs to be careful, if they are a high risk, don’t go to a rally, it’s a personal choice.

80% of adults do not meet the government guidelines on exercise.

78 million adults and 12.5 million minors are obese (a preexisting condition)

So the government is now responsible for their poor life decisions?

Just counting that, and not including conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and others (which may or may not overlap with the obesity numbers), that is a staggering 90-100 million Americans (roughly 1 in 3) who have a 'preexisting condition.'

Well, we all have choices: food, diet and exercise should be everyone’s goal to maintain a proper and healthy lifestyle, if you don’t, that’s on you.

But yeah, let's just keep tossing out red hats and ignoring steps that can be taken now, today, to reduce the risk these 100 million people face.

ACA made it worse, didn’t help the vast majority of Americans.

Yes, we can talk about improving health and eating habits, etc at the right time, but for now, wear the damn mask, accept the damn facts, and stop trying to excuse the inexcusable.

They have already threatened violence and disorder if they dont get their way and the BLM and other terror groups riots were just a small taste of what they intend to do.

Can't wait till this election is over and we see Trump back in the White House , but the democrats and the liberals still wont be quiet and wont accept the fact that they lost and the majority of people do not want their policies and their politics.

The majority of people rejected Trump in 2016 and more voted for democratic policies and politics. Trump’s conspiracy theory that 3 million illegals voted last time has largely faded into obscurity but some of his more deranged, hardcore cultists still believe it. I’m pretty sure the majority will reject Trump again next week, but don’t count out another baseless conspiracy theory in answer to that.

The electoral college is a different matter and that’s the game Trump played well last time. I’d go with the bookies odds which are giving Trump a roughly 30% chance.

It is interesting reading all of this. I wonder if there is anyone here who truly believes that the U.S. can become the "United" States again in the near future.

The most polarizing time in my memory is the late 60s or very early 70s but that time pales in comparison to what I see today.

To me it would seem that the only possible solution to the extreme division we see now would be term limits and a truly viable 3rd Political Party. I do not think the vested interests will allow either to occur.

What is more scary is it seems there are some (maybe many) who believe a one party state is the answer and this exists on both sides of the aisle. The one party state approach has never in history worked out for the governed (we commonors).

So many politicians go to Washington DC with not a whole lot but leave as multi millionaires. It seems to me this is OK with everyone as long as they are of the right political persuasion (this exists on both sides).

FL, GA, AZ, NC and IA Are all very close to be sure although Biden leads IN 4 of the 5. Trump might win 2 or even 3, But is highly unlikely to win all 5. Even then it wouldn’t be enough.

There is zero change in the Blue Wall of Rust-belt states. Michigan - Biden +8.9. Minnesota - Biden +8.9. Pennsylvania - Biden +5. Wisconsin- Biden +8.2.

To get to 270, Trump would have to run the board of all battleground states( again, it’s close but he’s losing 4 of the 6. Which side would you want to be on 3 days out) AND win either Michiro Pennsylvania where he’s losing by grater than the margin of error.

Yeah, Biden and his racist policies towards Blacks and off the wall comments didn’t make him popular at all with Black men.

lincolnman: Trump is making a campaign push alright - so are his violent, mob-like supporters...

So all the violence and arson over the past year during the BLM and Antifa riots was the fault of Trump supporters? Come on man!

When confronted with an uncomfortable fact, they once again turn to "But What About"... Do you support those Trump supporters harassing the Biden bus? Yes or no....

And I'll be the President for all Americans - whether you voted for me or not. Let's bring honesty and decency back to our nation.

Biden will be elected next Tuesday. And roughly the same number of Americans who do not consider Trump their president will not accept Biden as their president. Socialism is not honest or decent.

Thank you for seeing reality and admitting Biden will win - put your time to good use and spread that word to your other Trump supporters...it'll save them from flipping out and going crazy on Nov 4th...

Proudly made in the U S of A. If you see one that says "Made in China", it is a knock-off.

No deflection, but I can never get an answer from Trump haters. Is this justifiable? Do you support Trump supporters being punched out at rallies? In the streets or college campuses, Yes or No?

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

To get to 270, Trump would have to run the board of all battleground states( again, it’s close but he’s losing 4 of the 6.

Which means he’s in the margin of error, so it’s closer than you think and that’s worrying to Dems, not to mention, most Trump voters didn’t go and vote yet.

Which side would you want to be on 3 days out) AND win either Michiro Pennsylvania where he’s losing by grater than the margin of error.

Doubt it, it’s a fracking State and Biden would get rid of fracking and at the end of the day, Trump will probably carry PA. You have over 250,000 frackers in that State they value their jobs.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Proudly made in the U S of A. If you see one that says "Made in China", it is a knock-off.

At least the tags are. Unlike Trump shirts, ties (basically everything trump branded) and all of Ivanka’s “original” clothes.

More misinformation. Must have repeated Trump. Biden said he will end fracking on public owned land. He never said he would end fracking.

Last time out Trump promised to protect the 60,000 coal miners but he didn't and thousands have lost their jobs.

The other significant difference you see between Trump and Biden campaigns....

Who is out campaigning for Biden - well, he has Obama, Bernie, Elizabeth, Nancy, Chuck, Bill, Hillary....

Who is out campaigning for Trump - GW Bush? No way. Moscow Mitch? He hasn't even visited the WH for four months because they can't keep it disinfected - he ain't getting on a stage with Trump. Kevin McCarthy? He's in hiding.

The only ones out campaigning for Donald are his coked up son and David Duke...and of course his BFF Vlad...

Biden said he will end fracking on public owned land. He never said he would end fracking.

Hi Zichi. Is the the "I" or the "will end fracking" part you didn't understand?

He stated in the debate, on live TV, he wouldn’t end fracking.

This came after what was either poor communication or a position he later reversed.

Best to go with the last statement made. Think of when Trump reversed his stance on birtherism before the last election. Birtherism was a vote winner for the deplorables but he had to clean up his act a bit for people who can spell and are morally and intellectually functional.

As I said, go with the last statement made.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

It’s way too funny how Trump supporters love citing twitter as a source of evidence and then turn around and rail against it as biased against conservatives.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

ah good. I think that'll give peace of mind to the thousands of oil workers who have Biden on record several times as against it in addition to his far-left Democrat handlers who are still against fracking now.

Green New Deal, anyone?

Last time out Trump promised to protect the 60,000 coal miners but he didn't and thousands have lost their jobs

Yes, because the vast majority retired and more are retiring

Mine operators and independent contractors are required to report regular employment information to the Department of Labor’s Mine Safety and Health Administration, or MSHA. Preliminary figures for 2018 show 80,778 people were employed by mine operators and contractors. That’s a record low, and about a thousand fewer than were employed by coal in the last year of the Obama administration.

Nationwide, coal plant retirements neared a record high, and overall coal production dropped to the lowest level in nearly 40 years, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, a non-partisan government agency that tracks energy trends.

Makes sense.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Why is Trump doing all these rallies? He's out of money. This is all he has left. So much for the Death Star... (& btw, the Death Star blew up. Twice.)

Where are his surrogates? Governors, elected Representatives or celebrities? He's radioactive. Nobody wants to be seen with him, not even Scott Bail.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

I know as a liberal I am supposed to blindly jump on board and vote for Biden

Only by conservatives.

but in good conscience I cannot.

Fair enough.

I am going to sit this year out. Come on U.S.; we can do alot better.

We can do a lot better, but not with the current economic and political systems in place. This is the natural result of cutthroat capitalism and a two-party system in which people are rewarded for ignoring their constituents and pandering to big business.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

"Scott Baio"

Apologies

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Voters refuse to be intimidated by the many Trump supporters who are coming out to patrol voting centers with their weapons. Trump supporters are the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to conservatives, as only they will resort to saying things like "You better vote for Trump; we know where you live" and "We got your license plate numbers". Level-headed and devoted Republicans know better that to gain their country (and party) back, they need to vote against Trump. Country over party. Trump is the first president I know who endorse violence and intimidation by his supporters against voters. How pathetic.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

> twitter isn’t the evidence. The video that was posted by someone who was there is.

You’d have a point if I had said, “twitter as evidence” instead of, “twitter as a source of evidence.” Reading is difficult for Trump supporters.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

the Biden car was at fault, as can clearly be seen.

that’s two false narratives debunked here today. Anything else?

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Yes, because screaming that the country will impose if democrats are elected is very optimistic.

Biden called Trump Bush the other day.....you just can’t make this stuff up, but it’s Joe.

Trump said there were airfields in the revolutionary war and that his father was born on three different places. When will you people learn that you have no leg to stand upon and criticize anyone for misspeaking or lying?

1 ( +5 / -4 )

As I said, go with the last statement made.

ah good. I think that'll give peace of mind to the thousands of oil workers who have Biden on record several times as against it

Several times? You must have links to this. Are they only accessible to oil workers?

Even so, as with Trump’s birtherism before the last election ( he was on this filthy bandwagon for years ), we have to take him at his last statement on the matter. This was a major U-turn before the last election.

Trump hasn’t mentioned or tweeted about this filth since then so I’d give him the benefit of the doubt. I’d give Biden the benefit of the doubt too. I don’t know what else you can do.

A white Biden car attacked a Black Trump truck. That’s the part that actually happened.

Pure speculation. The white vehicle could easily have simply drifted into the right lane from the center lane due to an inattentive driver.

What is clear, however, is how aggressively the black vehicle rammed into the white vehicle. We all know that is an improper response when driving as it escalated the situation.

This is exactly why Trump loves the poorly educated: they jump to conclusions instead of looking at the evidence and then evaluating it through the lens of facts and logic.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Just watch the video, he said it multiple times, his mouth, his words. George Lucas had nothing to do with it. Again, no one believes him in Pennsylvania.

The Dems don’t have a positive message, they never do, it’s always the worst, never positive or uplifting.

I don’t know your race, ethnicity, or religious affiliation. This means your feeling are being hurt for no reason.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

This is exactly why Trump loves the poorly educated:

Yes, the Dems don’t care and that’s over 25 million more votes for Trump and the Republicans, the very people that the smart rich elite don’t want. Now I get it why more black men and Hispanics are voting for the guy.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Yes, the Dems don’t care and that’s over 25 million more votes for Trump and the Republicans, the very people that the smart rich elite don’t want. Now I get it why more black men and Hispanics are voting for the guy.

This is irrelevant to Trump loving the poorly educated. It does, however, imply that you think black men and Hispanics are poorly educated.

Then why did you say in your 12:06 post that, “He never said he would end fracking.”

The Dems don’t have a positive message, they never do, it’s always the worst, never positive or uplifting.

Irrelevant or you claiming Trump is optimistic. Your answer will be irrelevant if it doesn’t directly address Trump.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

This is irrelevant

No, it’s relevant because you were the one that implied that Trump loves the poor and uneducated and Biden calls them ugly and Hillary called them irredeemable and 25 million them said, at least Trump has shown that he cares and no one else in Washington especially on the Democrats side do, they’re dismissive of these people and that helps Trump so it’s relevant because once again, Democrats are taking the poor and uneducated (as you claim) seriously.

to Trump loving the poorly educated. It does, however, imply that you think black men and Hispanics are poorly educated

Many are and I never saw in 8 years of Obama that he or Joe did something about criminal justice. When rappers start to support the Republicans, Democrats have a real serious problem.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Then why did you say in your 12:06 post that, “He never said he would end fracking.”

He did, I swear...I never put those words in his mouth!

Joe Biden said that he would end fracking, during an exchange with a New Hampshire voter on Friday.

Voter: "But like, what about, say, stopping fracking?"

Biden: "Yes."

Voter: "And stopping pipeline infrastructure?"

Biden: "Yes."

His words, not mine. We all heard it.

Irrelevant or you claiming Trump is optimistic.

He is, everyone is, watch the videos. It’s a crime now to be optimistic about the prospects and hope foe your country? We need to be downer and gloomy like Harris and Biden?

Your answer will be irrelevant if it doesn’t directly address Trump.

No, it’s because you can’t refute anything I said.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

The proud boys are no longer’ standing by’ . They tried to attack a Biden convoy near Houston, voter intimidation is being reported across America.

trump is turning America into a 3rd world dictatorship!!!

3 ( +6 / -3 )

So if Biden wants to end fracking and all fossil fuels why would people in these oil drilling and fracking States want Biden? There’s a reason he keeps going back and the Dems know they have a problem, not just with his words, but overall enthusiasm for the guy. The people in rural counties and many never have voted before and even for those that voted are tired of the Democrat party mocking them, calling them stupid, ugly and deplorable and that’s why these so called dumb people are supporting Trump in bigger numbers, they snoozed and losing with a giant chunk of the electorate.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Because it shows us winning.

Got it. Love how you determine whether something is credible.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Democrats and liberals have been mocking Trump supporters as stupid, ugly, etc. Democrats haven’t been mocking the country folks who have never voted.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

A few weeks ago at a Twitter rally A free speech activist named Philip Anderson was attacked by Antifa & Black Lives Matter, having his two front teeth knocked out, not a word from any Democrat leader, not one single word. They continue to instigate riots and if these riots continue, it just helps Trump, the more these people attack the police and brutalize them, it all helps Trump, so liberals are really doing Trump a huge favor.

People are voting early to rid states of Democrats so that they can have lower taxes and cities that are free from BLM and LIBERAL RIOTERS!

Voter intimidation and violence will only help the decent people in the country realize they were right all along in supporting Biden.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

A failed PotUS

Not failed, America doesn’t need that kind of change. If Biden were so good, he wouldn’t be close to Trump in the polls and 56% of Americans are more satisfied with their lives over the last 4 years than the previous years before that. I would call that quite an achievement given the circumstances with this virus.

It's the people who will be fighting (via the ballot box) to ensure that the disaster of the last 4 years is behind them. Or facing a jail sentence.

Although, President Biden will probably pardon Trump, rather than create further animosity. He knows how violent Trump people are.

Solidarity to all the voters queing for hours/overnight, facing intimidation etc.

Still searching, but if that’s the case then most of them are minorities. Whereas, Biden supporters by the hundreds and thousands are having boat parades, long lines of people waiting to see his rallies, thousands trying to see Biden, every law enforcement in the country supports Biden snd Biden is for fossil fuels and is pro-life and hates regulations and wants to support more wall funding. ROFL!

If Biden were (and that’s a slim chance) the violence by these Marxists wouldn’t cease with his Presidency, that these people want to turn the US into a Marxist society blanketing it with socialist and repressive policies that just won’t work, we would have a depression like the world has never seen. But conservatives see solace in their numbers and the fact that liberals never anticipated is the large turnout on people walking in to cast their ballots knowing what would happen if they sent it in by mail. They’re not going to fall or participate in that.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

In the last election, Trump also said many points which didn’t turn out to be true. Like, make Mexico pay for the wall. Bring all the troops home. Protect the miners. Abolish the Obama healthcare.

Ivanka and her husband used the post vote.

Which is it?

Marxism?

Socialism?

Liberalism?

Whilst there is certainly some crossover (between Marxism and socialism) these are separate ideologies.

And by the these people remark, who are you referring to? The Trump people I mentioned?

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Trump supporters back to trusting polls. The hypocrisy is strong here.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

don jr put out a message asking his supporters to go after Kamala .

Both sides are calling the attack on each other’s right or wrong it’s politics and in these last hours, expect the rhetoric to increase on both sides and the dirt shall ensue.

In the last election, Trump also said many points which didn’t turn out to be true. Like, make Mexico pay for the wall.

And the majority of it has been completed and when one of the main border enforces from the top border agency tried to post it on Twitter, he was blocked.

Bring all the troops home.

He tried the establishment including many Republicans blocked him, that’s not Trump, that’s the establishment not happy with Trump doing that.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

And the majority of it has been completed and when one of the main border enforces from the top border agency tried to post it on Twitter, he was blocked.

Less than 200 miles of new walls and no Mexican check!

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Love how Trump supporters go from incorrectly claiming democrats haven’t spoken out against the violence to, “well, both sides are doing it.” Zero integrity.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

No, more than that, I would say everyone should take a drive and look, liberals don’t want to listen to the border experts, but they want to discredit the very people that work border enforcement and even at 200 miles, that is a fantastic accomplishment.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

And the majority of it has been completed

This is false, sorry.

But what Mr Trump has actually built is far from what he promised at the start of his 2016 election campaign, when he pledged to build a concrete wall along the border's entire 2,000-mile length. He later clarified that it would cover only half of that. And by the time of his State of the Union address in February this year, his pledge had been reduced to "substantially more than 500 miles" by January 2021.

and when one of the main border enforces from the top border agency tried to post it on Twitter, he was blocked.

Not surprised, given that Trump and his acolytes are spinning like mad.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

trump built 9 miles of new border wall in 4 years , that shouldn’t take long to cover.

I bet Mexico told him it was too small an amount for them to pay!!!

Which, in normal language, translates to “I have no links.”

3 ( +5 / -2 )

The vast majority of the wall has been completed

CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan said that 360 miles of border wall has been built under the Trump administration.

More than 100 miles of that is in the El Paso sector.

There has been new construction near downtown and all along the Border Highway, where the existing 18-foot fence is being replaced with 30-foot barriers.

Morgan said the agency is building about 10 miles of wall a week, and they are hoping to hit 450 miles by the end of the year.

As far as illegal border crossings are concerned, in 2019, the Border Patrol had almost a million encounters with migrants crossing into the U.S.

In fiscal year 2020, that number dropped to 458,000, a drop of more than 50 percent.

The vast majority of the wall has been completed

CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan said that 360 miles of border wall has been built under the Trump administration.

More than 100 miles of that is in the El Paso sector.

in Trump's previous campaign he claimed he would build a wall "coast-to-coast!" That has happened.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

ulysses

trump built 9 miles of new border wall in 4 years , that shouldn’t take long to cover.

I understand he "repaired" a lot a lot of miles, basically replacing some meaningless chain-link fence with a real barrier.

But besides, should you as an anti-trum per not be happy if he keeps the border unprotected? What is your beef here?

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

trump also claimed he’s beaten Covid.

1 million new cases in 2 weeks.

1000 plus deaths every day....

trump’s claims sure don’t have any link with reality.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Only 9 miles of it is new.

What an achievement for 4 years!!!

Considering accomplishing 100 miles and the roadblocks that Dems kept throwing his way, it’s astounding he got that done at all.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

in Trump's previous campaign he claimed he would build a wall "coast-to-coast!" That has happened.

We are more happy that he built the most parts of the wall that is built like a sieve. Double barrier and easier to apprehend border crossers, love the mobile watch tower they added.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )
