Title of this article: Biden, Sanders blast Trump amid coronavirus fears

liberal: we are lying that Dem politicians are attacking Trump by using coronavirus.

so is this article false? Biden and Sanders are dem politicians to my knowledge and “blast” means strongly attack so....there you go.

Trump and his supporters: "The Democrats and politicizing the Corona virus issue!"

Yes.

Yes, that's the lie they are spreading...

Trump and the right-wing hate machine media: "The evil cabal of Obama, Hillary, Nancy, and Schiff created the Corona virus just to sink Trump's election chances.

I wouldn’t say that,

Sure you would...do you agree with Rush that its nothing more than a cold?

but like *Rahm Emanuel*** **said, ”never let a good crisis go to waste.” makes you think, they’re not exactly devastated that this is happening....

Hmmm, think you meant that convict Roger Stone....

@bas4f why y’all don’t jump on the media’s back for it

Here's how right wing media are reporting it.

https://www.mediamatters.org/coronavirus-covid-19/guide-right-wing-media-coronavirus-reactions-and-conspiracy-theories

And here's the far right's idol nation Russia 'meddling' once again.

Russia Knows Just Who to Blame for the Coronavirus: America

Conspiracy theories are all over state media, following past patterns of disinformation.

No. I posted about Trump’s love of conspiracy trash and spreading fake news.

The Dems and especially the msm do it as well. Dunno, why y’all don’t jump on the media’s back for it

loves conspiracy theories and spreads fake news is making decisions and pronouncements about something as serious as this. It can’t be a good thing.

You just summed up the Democrat party in a nutshell.

No. I posted about Trump’s love of conspiracy trash and spreading fake news.

I knew it was only a matter of time (a matter of very short time) before Democrats would start exploiting this situation to bash their political opponents.

They always do that -- with mass murders, with natural disasters, whatever. They instantly start looking for ways to blame them on Republicans.

It's disgusting and it speaks volumes about how low the Democratic Party has sunk in recent years.

Oh, spare us the sanctimony. Are you seriously suggesting this is one way.

@Bass

Yes, I know the Dems are worse smh, ROFL, Bingo! What?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Trump, who is a pathological liar,

Well, the media takes the torch lead on that one

doesn’t read anything, watches Fox,

I’m sure he reads, when you have that many properties and accumulated that much wealth in life, you need to do a fair amount of reading, don’t believe the liberal hype.

they salivate at the idea of turning it into a political party

... turning it into a political opportunity. (correction)

There have been but a handful of U.S. cases of a virus from which the vast majority of people recover just fine. But of course, leave it to Democrats to turn it into a major catastrophe ... not because they actually care about anyone who's affected, but because they salivate at the idea of turning it into a political party.

The Democratic Party absolutely nauseates me.

Trump told people to wash their hands and was mocked. Well look here:

The best prevention against the coronavirus is still washing your hands.

Trump and the right-wing hate machine media: "The evil cabal of Obama, Hillary, Nancy, and Schiff created the Corona virus just to sink Trump's election chances. They were helped by the Area 51 Aliens - who are all illegal immigrants too - no one invited them to Nevada. They used their flying saucers to take the virus in secret to China - those saucers have Romulan cloaking devices. Don't believe the Deep State CDC - JFK Jr and the QAnon believers know the truth!"

Do they actually think people believe Trump is responsible for the drop?

No. They actually think Trump is responsible for the creation of the coronavirus and all other sorts of horrors. Otherwise they would not be unable to comprehend the meaning of their existence.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Interesting that Trump continues to have his "yuuge" rallies...while other large gatherings are closing....I guess he thinks there's no threat from Corona and its not a big deal....

As such, to help promote cross-cultural relations, I recommend Trump invite the Wuhan city counsel to his next rally....

The glee over the drop in the stock market from liberals is ridiculous.

So? Any crimes? Trump has Hannity

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Meanwhile the Dem primary is 24 hours away, totally overshadowed as usual, but part of this article. I expect Biden to win South Carolina with Pete, Any and Warren bringing up the rear.

the goal now is to just keep Bernie from getting that majority. Only 8 of 94 superdelegates committed to select Bernie if he gets the most votes but not majority. They named a bunch of people not even running as possible 2nd ballot selections.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Trump and Trump supporter logic;

We need guns and assault weapons to protect us from the "government", and to keep the illegal immigrant hordes away from our homes...

Corona virus? It's nothing but the common cold. Everything's fine. Don't worry....cough, cough....

1 ( +2 / -1 )

The CDC funding was not cut. Remember when liberals said the response team from a month ago wasn’t diverse enough? That deny people from China entry was racist?

Of course you have to memory hole that in order to claim there was no response team or policy implemented.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Trump, his minions, and the Trump supporters here all want us to follow China's example - cover-up the truth, censor and muzzle those who stray from the official "white-wash" lies, and rally around the cult leader.

Forget it - we're not a dictatorship yet. During Trump's tenure lack of funding and a hiring freeze has crippled the CDC and other government agencies who are on the front line fighting these public health outbreaks. That's just plain incompetence and it needs to be identified and exposed.

https://foreignpolicy.com/2020/01/31/coronavirus-china-trump-united-states-public-health-emergency-response/

He deserves all the criticism he is receiving - and its Trump and the far-right hate machine that is politicizing the issue. Did you hear the unhinged rant Mike Huckabee went off on today? Mike needs to seek some help.

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/mike-huckabee-says-trump-vilified-182507184.html

How many Trump supporters here agree with Limbaugh that Corona is nothing more than "a common cold"?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

The glee over the drop in the stock market from liberals is ridiculous.

Do they actually think people believe Trump is responsible for the drop? and that everyone will cancel to vote for him and vote for Bernie instead? Delusional if so, as Trump economic policies had nothing to do with what has temporarily happened.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

trump shouldn’t have to be protected because he shouldn’t be under attack from Dems on this issue.

creating a bill to pay for this that takes away all the money needed for building the wall? So it has to be that exact type of money is just coincidence right? No politics at all.

trump is being judged not on his response as his response to date was effective.he was criticized as a racist for taking supposedly premature action weeks ago. then now Dems trying claim he did nothing. It can’t be both.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

So the dems and liberals are blasting Trump. How would THEY handle the situation? What solutions are Biden, Sanders, Warren, etc. offering.....other than FIXING THE BLAME.

.......vote for a socialist and watch your freedoms erode.

And watch your finances erode as it will be taxed up to the hilt. Bernie, Warren et al will see to it that nobody can save and invest because poor people can't. If the poor can't save and invest, then nobody should. That's the socialist mentality.

Substantial stock market losses this week....

And somehow Trump is the cause of this?

,,,Democrats are cheering it on and that the media is promoting the story to "trick" the stock market into falling to make Trump look bad.

The dems ARE happy about havoc the coronvirus is causing in the economy, hoping it would trigger a recession. Then they can blame the recession on Trump with the expectation he will ousted out of office for that reason since all other efforts....short of assassination.....have failed.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Why wouldn't Trump be judged on his response to a potential pandemic? It's nothing out of the ordinary.

No, liberals think each and every single das as to how they can attack this President. If Trump did the absolute best job, liberals would find something else to complain about. It’s all they got.

On the other side you have commentary saying the Democrats are cheering it on and that the media is promoting the story to "trick" the stock market into falling to make Trump look bad.

Yup! If not then how about doing what Eric Swalwell did, man up, put politics aside and help this President, leave the politics out of this.

Seriously!

No surprise the most dishonest president in US history has attracted so many like-minded followers.

Liberals feel like half of the people are dishonest....maybe they think the same about liberals and the establishment are the dishonest ones.

I guess that's to be expected from partisan extremists who've said they don't care if their leader is honest or has integrity;

They do, that’s why his numbers are rising.

all they want is their share prices to stay high. LOL

Turn off CNN just for a moment.

Bloomberg said Trump had defunded the CDC.

“There’s nobody here to figure out what the hell we should be doing," he said at the debate. "And he’s defunded — he’s defunded Centers for Disease Control, CDC, so we don’t have the organization we need. This is a very serious thing."

The AP pushed back on the claims, saying it was wrong to say the agencies had seen cuts.

"Bloomberg is repeating the false allegation in a new ad that states the U.S. is unprepared for the virus because of 'reckless cuts' to the CDC," it stated.

There goes your liar.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

This would be a good time for a competent government to plan for and then announce a pool of government subsidy money to go to A) employers to 1) encourage telework where possible and 2) help compensate for financial losses from being short staffed and/or having to reduce productivity and B) an emergency fund for hourly workers who will be without pay by taking sick days they don't get paid for. The government should also announce penalties for firing employees who stay home sick during an epidemic (such as loss of above funds).

U.S. Democratic presidential contenders blasted the Republican Trump administration's handling of the coronavirus outbreak on the eve of South Carolina's fourth-in-the-nation nominating contest on Saturday.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED, that leading Democrats are choosing to spend their time blaming Trump, and trying to get elected, instead of trying to find a useful way to help keep people safe from the virus. "Resist" at all cost.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Unlike China, which is communist, if there's a major outbreak in the United States, people will be forced to go to work anyway, sick or not.

That’s not entirely true, absolutely not. And given the origin and China’s history with diseases like these, how can we say concretely that the Chinese government is telling the truth and being transparent?

It has the potential to kick off worse in the U.S. than any other country because not going to work is not an option - too many people have stressed out finances and will work NO MATTER WHAT.

Not if they’re told to stay home and work from home.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Honesty? How many people attended Trump's inauguration?

@basf4Even more have been coming over the years.

Dodge.

Remember the Iranians holding Americans hostage and killing them in proxy wars.

How many Americans were 'harmed' in the Iran shelling?

Remember the Iranians holding Americans hostage and killing them in proxy wars.

Where was his father born? 15,000+ and counting.

Liberals are obsessed with that, Russia, Ukraine and while they’re worrying about that, Trump keeps racking up more voters.

Add in the global media backing him while spreading his lies.

Oh, if that were remotely true, Trump would tweet less, probably never.

Though I'm sure there are some who 'love' Trump because of his 'honesty', I'd say they're a tiny minority.

Trump numbers rising and him winning is not a minority thing, given what the people see and how Democrats have conducted themselves over the last 3 years.

November will tell how effective his 'honesty' has been.

Bernie will lose, no way the country will vote for a socialist.

The American situation: Either be sick at work, or be sick out on the street. Your choice.

Most people want a leader who speaks clearly and is known for his honesty.

@bas4FFThere you go, that’s why people love Trump.

Denying the risk? To me one of the biggest problems with the 'politicalization' of this disease is having a leader who's lied so many times that only a handful of people believe a single thing he says.

The liberals are worried more with politicizing this issue, put all the bickering aside, but liberals still want to make Trump center issue when you have people getting sick and dying, these people could care less about the severity of this disease.

That coupled with his inability to speak coherently on any subject make his involvement at any level even worse.

No, it just makes haters angry, judging by his rising numbers people appreciate a person that speaks like the average person.

Most people want a leader who speaks clearly and is known for his honesty.

There you go, that’s why people love Trump.

Americans have until November to decide.

Yes, they do. Vote for a capitalist and freedom or vote for a socialist and watch your freedoms erode.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

the Dems are some sick people. Uncooperative no help for Trump about this epidemic and now blaming him for it. The stalled economy is their dream come true.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

@blacklabDems are using coronavirus fears for politics.

Which is typical of democratic systems. Tradeoffs.

Trump's media are saying this:

Rush Limbaugh and Fox News' Laura Ingraham are denying the coronavirus risk in an attempt to protect Trump

https://www.businessinsider.com/right-wing-media-spreads-conspiracy-and-deny-risk-of-coronavirus-2020-2
