Scott's victory gave the Republicans 52 seats in the 100-member Senate.

@burnigbush The people of Florida have spoken.

The MAJORITY of Americans did NOT vote in support of Trump's party. The MAJORITY of Americans also did NOT vote for Trump in 2016.

Democrats led Republicans by more than 12 million votes in Senate races, and yet still suffered losses on the night and failed to win a majority of seats in the chamber.

The people of Florida have voted. 'nuff said.

It shouldn't have been that close. The Repubs need to get back to being fiscal conservatives above everything else. $20+T in national debt is unconscionable. It isn't like the far-far-far right wackos have anyone else for which to vote, so relaxing on many of the social, religious, stances makes sense.

The people of Florida have spoken.

They approve of Trump.

Weren't you one of the conservativesrhat was just screaming about democrats magically finding more votes for themselves? Scott's win kinda utterly destroyed that conservative conspiracy theory.

They just didn’t “find” enough votes this time once the spotlight was put on them. That’s why they suddenly lost 2000 ballots that were supposedly “in the building”. Also why Scott gained 700 votes during the manual recount. Just practice for 2020.

Logic failure! Logic failure! Logic failure! Dems were engaging in fraud, but decided to pull up short?

So I guess that voter fraud stuff was just made up and everyone will just move on with our lives like nothing happened.

Bass:.  it seems to be that Scott got about an extra 800 more votes, so in a way, the recount helped him out.

I think you mean "found." As in, "More votes for Scott were "mysteriouly found.". With quotes.

Right? I mean that was the narrative when Democratic votes increased.

Not according to the polls. He won and that means the people trust him.

You mean the popular vote, not the polls. (Accuracy is important.) If the most popular votes in any election demonstrates that the people support the person that garnered those votes, it holds true at the presidential level.

> They should, but it seems to be that Scott got about an extra 800 more votes, so in a way, the recount helped him out.

Take a moment to let this sink in. Because the alleged voter fraud helped the conservative, we should move on.

Then, in the same post, this:

So it was Ok for Snipes and the Hollywood elite fudge so called lost ballads and the recount as well, right? But you’re ok with that, right?

Wow

I totally agree.

Scott is a sleazy con man just like his hero, Dotard. He bought the governor position and now the senate seat with money that was stolen from Medicare when he was the CEO of HCA. They plead guilt to fraud and paid the largest fine in Medicare fraud history at that time. As the CEO, he claimed he didn't know that almost a third of their profit was from fraud.

Then they made him resign and punished him with 10 million in cash, 300 million in stock and initially kept him on as a consultant for 1 million a year.

During the 8 years he was governor, his personal fortune increased by 220 million.

He is a poster boy for what the Republican party has become.

Heh, nothing surprising about that!

But Trump won the EC that’s all that matters, that’s our system. Congrats Scott and DeSantis well deserved.

Also why Scott gained 700 votes during the manual recount. Just practice for 2020.

Bingo!

Have you seen Jerry Brown’s fortune? Dang!!! I wanna be a governor, red or blue, you make bank!

Do the Dems have a poster Democrat? No, they’re all losers except maybe Biden has a bit of respect from all those lost in the Boonies Democrats.

Good news. Perhaps that democrat could’ve featured free Jay-Z, Beyoncé concerts to boost his bid there in FL. In GA, that candidate had obama give speeches & Ophra knocking on doors house-to-house. Again, to no avail.

Brenda Snipes already used the “muh racism” card to try to not get fired. Wouldn’t be anything about the total incompetence and possible criminal activity she was a part of, would it?

She will be ok just setting up a Gofundme for when “that Trump loving racist” Desantis fires her.
