To Trump, pot-kettle-black! If you call someone something like that, you gotta be one yourself first!

16 ( +19 / -3 )

Can it go any lower?

13 ( +15 / -2 )

@burnbush What kind of a weirdo

Goes to work for Trump knowing full well what a sleazeball he is and always has been? Good question. DC has always attracted swamp creatures, and Trump's attracting an even lower form of them.

Drain Trump's swamp!

with her (cough cough ghostwritten) book.

Just like Trump, who writes at the level of a 12 year old so had to pay someone to write his book for him.

22 ( +24 / -2 )

Frankly, Omarosa is a person I trust just slightly further than I can throw her.

That being said, is anyone surprised by the actions on either side? Omarosa's been an attention seeking manipulator since her first appearance on TV. She learned the old pro wrestling mindset, Controversy Creates Cash, and has played that game ever since.

And Trump, as dishonorable as he is, has encouraged her. Bringing her back despite knowing she's about as untrustworthy as it gets, simply for ratings I guess, then as a blatant attempt to appeal to African-Americans ("See, I got black people working for me too! Like Ben! And Omarosa!).

I knew as soon as Omarosa left the White House these two would turn on each other, Omarosa as a way to capitalize and try and get rich, Trump because he hates with a pathological hatred anyone who he sees as having 'turned' on him.

As for why would anyone believe Omarosa after she recorded conversations in the White House, this could be the only saving grace to her accusations. Why? Because if she came to me and told me the sky was blue, I'd check the weather report before going outside.

But Trump's played the same recordings game. Wasn't he the one who made not-so-subtle threats about "You better hope there aren't any tapes!" when James Comey made statements against him?

Trump has reacted in exactly the way everyone should have expected, as a bully who bites back blindly. He tossed unoriginal, third grade level insults (how many women has he nicknamed Whacky, BTW? I've lost count, honestly), acted in a totally unprofessional way, and demeaned the office that he holds.

Is calling Omarosa a 'dog' racist? Since Trump has called others a 'dog' before, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Would I be surprised if Omarosa's claims that there are tapes of Trump using the N-word and being racist are true? No, I would not be. I do believe that Trump is a scared, narrow minded man with racist tendencies.

But in this case, calling Omarosa a 'dog' isn't racist or sexist per se. It's just Trump being a jerk.

4 days, 4 Omarosa “world news” articles. I am so glad to live in a world where nothing else of more importance is going on.

Never fear, the word “dog” is being reclassified as a racist term (backdated to right before Trump said it) as we speak.

-11 ( +10 / -21 )

She was the front page story on Fox News this morning.

12 ( +12 / -0 )

@blackl 4 days, 4 Omarosa “world news” articles

Yes, it is pathetic when the leader of any country or any large organization for that matter goes as low as Trump has. But given that his behavior is so un-presidented (sic) it's no surprise the media report it.

And because Trump has made such a public fool of himself so many times, I have to think he's doing this in part for the attention. Trump's a master media manipulator. This kind of media attention takes the public focus off the most unethical and immoral White House ever. Why hasn't he showed his taxes? (Not the ones Maddow showed)

Even the source loved most by Trump's partisan extremists is reporting this. The whole world's watching Trump make a fool of himself and with him the American people. And I'm sure he's loving every second of it. Reality TV star ratings, after all.

Never fear, the word “dog” is being reclassified as a racist term (backdated to right before Trump said it) as we speak.

So if it's not racist it's okay for the President of the United States to use that term to refer to someone? I don't think it's racist, incidentally, but I do think if I called anyone a dog, on Twitter or otherwise, I could expect a punch in the face. Here it would rightly get a comment deleted. All that notwithstanding the tone of your comment appears to indicate absolutely no criticism of Donald Trump whatsoever.

12 ( +13 / -1 )

Well, in fairness to Trump, he calls so many people so many childish names it's probably hard for him to keep track.

12 ( +12 / -0 )

We have had bad presidents, dumb presidents, corrupt presidents and ineffective presidents before. Never in our history have we had such a dumb, ignorant, cruel slimebag with the mentality of a mobster like this in the White House before. Never. Shame on anyone who supports him.

I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t like dogs.

25 ( +25 / -0 )

Calling a woman a "dog" is hardly the language of a gentleman, never mind that of a president, and jars all the more when recalling Trump's best solicitous tone of voice over the phone as he expressed his feigned surprise at his "dog's" fourth departure. So now naughty Omarosa is off the leash and to nobody's surprise is poopin' all over Trump's presidential credentials.

16 ( +16 / -0 )

Trump is in meltdown.

I wonder what else she has on tape?

22 ( +22 / -0 )

Front page on FoxNews.com right now. Damn liberal media won't drop it.

16 ( +16 / -0 )

According to the article, Sanders refused to deny the existence of the tapes with a Trump using the N word.

We are clearly being prepared for the tapes being released and the creation of yet a new standard for presidential behavior in which using the N word is not only OK but even laudable so long as you do it the way Trump does. Much like collusion with Russians is now OK, grabbing women by their genitals without permission is OK, having blatant business interests that conflict with his duties as president is OK and so on. The office of the president has been so degraded by this cretin that even future holders of it won’t have the guise of respectability that it once conferred.

15 ( +16 / -1 )

Omarosa's angry and appears to act like a spurned lover instead of a disgruntled employee. Now she's cashing in on any juicy tidbits of trash and gossip she has on the Donald.

Dog is the wrong word. Snake is probably a better word to describe her, which is just the place this White House represents. The swamp is officially a snake pit. Omarosa will just have to slither off someplace else and find another hole to crawl into.

As for myself, I'm going to save my eyes and money for Bob Woodward's newest book about the Trump administration, "Fear", which will be released within the next few weeks.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Trump owns this mess. He hired Omarosa for his dumb reality show and for his dumb administration. It has nothing to do with "the left" or "fake news media".

Trump's gang is full of dishonest opportunists and weirdos. Katrina Pierson, the Trump campaign spokesperson, denied on Fox that she ever discussed a tape of Trump using the N-word. But after Omarosa presented a recording of Pierson in fact discussing the N-word tape, Pierson changed her story to say she was only humoring Omarosa.

Personally, I don't think the surfacing of any of this stuff will make any difference. Trump's base will support him no matter what he does, and the rest of us (and not just "the left") will remain unsurprised by the flood of evidence showing who he really is: a despicable person unfit for office.

13 ( +13 / -0 )

Again, to be fair to Trump, I’m not convinced he said it. When he was denying housing to blacks he had his staff mark the applications with a “C” for “colored” so they would know not to rent to them. They didn’t write, “N.”

10 ( +11 / -1 )

We shouldn’t forget to buy Omarosa’s book the proceeds of which she will kindly donate to charity (not)

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

the left will probably associate the word “dog” with racism?

Please stop assuming that all those who oppose Trump are "the left".

And please stop assuming that all of those people associate the word "dog" with racism. I, for one, do not in this case, even though I think Trump is at heart a racist. In this case, Trump is just being a garden variety a-hole.

16 ( +17 / -1 )

Omarosa's angry and appears to act like a spurned lover instead of a disgruntled employee. Now she's cashing in on any juicy tidbits of trash and gossip she has on the Donald.

summed it up in a nutshell.

Dog is the wrong word. Snake is probably a better word to describe her, which is just the place this White House represents. The swamp is officially a snake pit. Omarosa will just have to slither off someplace else and find another hole to crawl into.

After this there might not be any left. She destroyed what little credibility she had left and it wasn’t much.

-15 ( +0 / -15 )

stormcrowToday  08:28 am JST

Dog is the wrong word. Snake is probably a better word to describe her...

I wouldn't use either personally and I don't really think it's okay for anyone else to use them. Trump's apologists appear to think it's absolutely fine, of course. I suppose they must be in the habit of regularly calling people dogs and snakes themselves.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

I'm sure a lot of people in his base would just love it if it were to be proved he'd been using the n-word. It's not PC, after all, and they love to go on about how much they hate anything PC.

13 ( +13 / -0 )

burning bush:

with her (cough cough ghostwritten) book.

What, you mean like The Art of the  ̶M̶e̶a̶l̶ Deal? Yeah, 100% written by the man-child. This man-child even wanted to swear on 'his' book rather than on the bible during his inauguration. Damn that Omarosa, she should have said yes, it would be a good idea to do that.

So Omarosa's a dog? Yeah, she was the man-child's bitch.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

I'm sure a lot of people in his base would just love it if it were to be proved he'd been using the n-word. It's not PC, after all, and they love to go on about how much they hate anything PC.

But sadly, it doesn’t exist and Omarosa is finished, she had a good run at the White House and now the woman lost everything she had and to top it off, she’s looking at criminal charges for secretly taping her own demise. Unbelievable this woman. I hope they throw the book at her.

-18 ( +0 / -18 )

"When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess"...

And Trump keeps digging... who in their right mind would give a WH job to a nutta?! Surely DT knew that Omarosa was an unstable arriviste. His call/mistake.

Critics condemned Trump's tweet for what they said were racial and sexist undertones. "The president of the United States is calling a woman of color a dog? ... How dare he call anyone a dog?" Democratic U.S. Representative Frederica Wilson, who is also an African-American, told CNN.

Didn't know there was a racist connotation behind the word 'dog'. Ironically, in 'my' world, Trump's a dog (i mean 'with the ladies').

4 ( +4 / -0 )

If he can call Omarosa a "dog", I'm sure using the n-word for him is in his nature. The man treats women like possessions and his record on dealing with black people is appalling. Not to mention the "sh*hole countries" remarks.

The more the bigot denies it, the more recordings will be released. She's playing this exceptionally well.

Even Sarah Sanders cannot guarantee that we won't hear tapes of Trump using the word.

This is America.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

LOL! The WH doesn't know if the tapes exist. Omarosa just released an audio tape of staffers talking about the tape. It looks like someone just opened the flood gates.

Penn Jillette knows Trump tapes exist, because 'I was in the room'

https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/people/2018/08/14/penn-jillette-knows-trump-tapes-exist-because-he-room/989527002/

Now, let's wait for the usual crowd to move from denial to "So, what". The same pattern out of Dump and Giuliani's playbook.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

If he can call Omarosa a "dog", I'm sure using the n-word for him is in his nature.

You can’t prove or say that. If you were to go by that logic then you can make that same kind argument for any human being.

The man treats women like possessions and his record on dealing with black people is appalling. Not to mention the "sh*hole countries" remarks.

If the president had a problem with black people then this woman would have never been in the White House, it would’ve never been as close to the president for over 15 years, it just would never happen.

The more the bigot denies it, the more recordings will be released. She's playing this exceptionally well.

Even Sarah Sanders cannot guarantee that we won't hear tapes of Trump using the word.

This is America.

Well, the president is not a racist and the media keeps bouncing around the face again and again and keep being proven wrong and a bigot or racist does not associate with anyone that’s a minority. And the White House staff it’s not their responsibility to dive into the mind of anyone of course Sanders is going to make that statement. I’ve interviewed more than enough racist over my caree and there is just no way. The president doesn’t act or engage in any behavior that is anything remotely close to what the true racist is .The real sad thing about America is that the country has been hijacked by liberals they called us as tolerated, but are anything but this is the real America and it’s so deeply saddening

-15 ( +0 / -15 )

Trump knew her. He hired her anyway. He owns every outrageous thing she's doing.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Now, let's wait for the usual crowd to move from denial to "So, what". The same pattern out of Dump and Giuliani's playbook.

Probably not, that’s the reason why even the Liberals have stopped booking her on shows because they know she’s full of crap and asked her life is falling apart, this too shall feed into obscurity as with everything else. Desperate times for a desperate woman, desperately trying to sell some books, well I hope she can make as much money as she can because she’s going to need a good lawyer considering the charges being filed on her now for breaking White House security protocol.

-18 ( +0 / -18 )

Trump knew her. He hired her anyway. He owns every outrageous thing she's doing.

To be fair, I agree. He should’ve never hired this woman, a lot of people were wondering about that, warned him, but he felt a sense of loyalty to her helped over the years, she was on his show for a long time, didn’t trust her then either, but even back then she had a reputation for being a Backstabber, but he still decided to take her in and that was his biggest mistake

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

@bas4 nd that was his biggest mistake

I can think of dozens even bigger mistakes, and no doubt he'll keep making more. Pretty soon his aides who recognize his rapidly diminishing state are going to have to have him Reagan-ized, starting with taking his Twitter away from him.

Expect Sanders to do more of the speaking for him.

Expect to see Trump spending even more time on one of his golf courses as part of the Reagan-ization process.

Does anyone know how he reports income gained from playing golf on his courses on his tax forms?

5 ( +5 / -0 )

@bass4funk

Probably not, that’s the reason why even the Liberals have stopped booking her on shows because they know she’s full of crap and asked her life is falling apart, this too shall feed into obscurity as with everything else.

LOL! She he was on TV yesterday. Try again!

9 ( +9 / -0 )

I can think of dozens even bigger mistakes, and no doubt he'll keep making more.

Everyone makes mistakes, and every politician makes mistakes, the only difference is that this immediate is out to get the president so if he takes one wrong breath going to report on it so it seems it would be a lot of mistakes, because that’s the only thing that the media is focused on and nothing else

Pretty soon his aides who recognize his rapidly diminishing state are going to have to have him Reagan-ized, starting with taking his Twitter away from him.

I think that was a very funny joke, I laughed at that, but that’s never going to happen. Remember the president passed every cognitive test, so there’s nothing wrong with his words that has already been medically documented

Expect Sanders to do more of the speaking for him.

Her job is the White House spokes woman, she’s not doing anything else but her job she’s doing a very good job at slapping down the liberals.

Expect to see Trump spending even more time on one of his golf courses as part of the Reagan-ization process.

Does anyone know how he reports income gained from playing golf on his courses on his tax forms?

What? Yup, the left keep proving their the party of whiners and not the party of solutions.

-16 ( +0 / -16 )

this too shall feed into obscurity

Feed into obscurity? :D

4 ( +4 / -0 )

If the president had a problem with black people then this woman would have never been in the White House, it would’ve never been as close to the president for over 15 years, it just would never happen.

Racists don't do logical things. Racism isn't logic or rational.

Just like men who sexually assault women and then claim that nobody respects women more than they do.

The real sad thing about America is that the country has been hijacked by liberals

Nope, the real sad thing is that Trump has normalised bigotry and his supporters positively enable him. And vice versa. That his fans, despite all the evidence, still claim he's not racist.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

@PTownsend

Does anyone know how he reports income gained from playing golf on his courses on his tax forms?

Funny thing is we might be finding out soon!

Feds win access to records seized from ex-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2018/08/14/michael-cohen-records-feds-get-access/981784002/

The walls are closing in, and tax fraud might be on the horizon for most of the Dump clan. He doesn't need to be convicted of collusion. LOL!

9 ( +9 / -0 )

Bass4funk: Probably not, that’s the reason why even the Liberals have stopped booking her on shows because they know she’s full of crap

Yep. Everyone knows she’s an opportunist. She gets no love on moderate and left-leaning sites as a person or a professional.

But the tapes. The tapes are awesome. Have you ever been at a job where you had to brainstorm some “spins” in case your boss is caught on video saying the N-Word?

What did you do at work today, hun?

Oh, we made a list of ways we can spin his use of the N-Word. U?

Then Trump adds to the story with his childish name calling. His reaction becomes the second story. Imagine if Trump had released a single statement reading, “I disagree with Omarosa’s statements and will not participate in this circus.”

And the fact that he’s racist plays right into the story.

From the porn stars to Omarosa, this is all about his poor decision-making before, during, and after he screws up.

Loser.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

LOL! She he was on TV yesterday. Try again!

I know, but I also know the bookings are less even “Meet the Press” is getting the heat for even giving her the platform to speak, is Tim Russert were still alive, he would be spinning in his grave. Her 15 are up, check the book sales. Lol

Feed into obscurity? :D

“fade”-typo. Lol

Racists don't do logical things. Racism isn't logic or rational.

If a person is a true and proven racist or an extremist, that can’t be true at times, but that is the exception not the rule.

Just like men who sexually assault women and then claim that nobody respects women more than they do.

What?

Nope,

Yes, That is the truth, liberals have completely hijacked this country and used race as a huge dividing wedge, it is so sad.

the real sad thing is that Trump has normalised bigotry and his supporters positively enable him. And vice versa. That his fans, despite all the evidence, still claim he's not racist

Actually that is not true bigotry he has been brought to the forefront in and has grown over the last eight years. There is no evidence and despite how the left try and try, they keep falling on their faces, the media has to be more creative and tries it might, they keep failing with it, we know this is a midterm election year and race is the driving force in tool that they need to help them gain seats

-15 ( +0 / -15 )

But the tapes. The tapes are awesome. Have you ever been at a job where you had to brainstorm some “spins” in case your boss is caught on video saying the N-Word?

But there weren’t any tips or that nothing existed and when she was told to provide some proves nothing.

What did you do at work today, hun?

Oh, we made a list of ways we can spin his use of the N-Word. U?

You guys keep trying like with everything else that has been debunked and the list can’t stand it, because oh well, foiled again. Lol

And the fact that he’s racist plays right into the story.

From the porn stars to Omarosa, this is all about his poor decision-making before, during, and after he screws up.

As I said dinner around racist met them a lot at bars and the president isn’t even close to anything near what you would call a racist, but I know the left has China pushed in the active, so good luck with that sadly it’s not working, but I get it.

Loser.

Actually I would call the left, pathetic.

-17 ( +0 / -17 )

No doubt Omarosa is out to sell her book. It's a cash in, and why wouldn't you if you were part of the toxic American modern culture?

However, the POTUS can't help but expose himself, again, as hopelessly sexist, and, let's afford some benefit of doubt and say, unwittingly racist.

That his supporters blindly defend him again and again, on issues not related to policy, is an indictment of their own beliefs and character.

America continues to drag its once proud self through the mud; The world looks on in shocked hilarity.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Bet he was longing to use the other gender for this comment.  What a bunch of misfits.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

@bass4funk

I know, but I also know the bookings are less even “Meet the Press” is getting the heat for even giving her the platform to speak, is Tim Russert were still alive, he would be spinning in his grave. Her 15 are up, check the book sales. LoL

Haha!

Of course, Dump supporters are not going to like people exposing more nefarious secrets about their leader. It means more work for Sanders and Giuliani to spin this. It means more bad press for Nov. It also means more perjury charges from late night tweets.

Her book is getting endorsement from late night talk show hosts. Unlike GOP candidates, she doesn't have a Superpack to buy her books in bulk to give as free gifts to supporters at rally's and conferences to boost her book sales.

But, it was ok for Hannity to allow Dump's lawyers to host his 3-hour show. LOL!

The more corruption brought to light the worse Dump's supporters look for supporting him. They have to show moral blindness. They are trying to protect their fragile pride and ego.

To the GOP and Dump supporters, it is worst to be called a racist than to actually be a racist. The same is true with being called fools or idiots.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

However, the POTUS can't help but expose himself, again, as hopelessly sexist, and, let's afford some benefit of doubt and say, unwittingly racist.

How so?

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

You guys keep trying like with everything else that has been debunked and the list can’t stand it, because oh well, foiled again. Lol

You guys set the bar at 'well I think it happened, so she's guilty' with Hillary. We've just dropped to your level.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

Of course, Dump supporters are not going to like people exposing more nefarious secrets about their leader.

If there is such a thing and so far, she fell flat as she has so many times, but she does share something with Tom Arnold, they both try to stay relevant.

It means more work for Sanders and Giuliani to spin this. It means more bad press for Nov. It also means more perjury charges from late night tweets.

So that means, you know more than his lawyers or you know what Omarosa supposedly has? If you do, please share it with us.

Her book is getting endorsement from late night talk show hosts. Unlike GOP candidates, she doesn't have a Superpack to buy her books in bulk to give as free gifts to supporters at rally's and conferences to boost her book sales.

If her book sells 100,000 units that's nowhere near close to a best seller, it would be a bomb like Ishtar.

But, it was ok for Hannity to allow Dump's lawyers to host his 3-hour show. LOL!

27 million viewers, that's a lot, most TV stations would love those kinds of ratings.

What corruption?? Two years! What? Where? What racism? Where? Keep it up, the left may pull off a win or two. They can't run on policies at all, so race is the golden ticket.

-13 ( +0 / -13 )

Bass: But there weren’t any tips or that nothing existed and when she was told to provide some proves nothing.

Hard-hitting analysis from a right-wing media member.

You guys keep trying like with everything else that has been debunked and the list can’t stand it, because oh well, foiled again. Lol

The list can’t stand it, I agree. Well said.

As I said dinner around racist met them a lot at bars

That’s great.

the president isn’t even close to anything near what you would call a racist,

Except the part where he was sued for being racist and lost. Textbook discrimination from your guy,

but I know the left has China pushed in the active, so good luck with that sadly it’s not working, but I get it.

I’m glad you get it. My efforts to deny the active have failed. I’m sad.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Meanwhile, millions are without work or health care, multitudes are homeless, etc. etc. Surely this woman and President Trump's reaction are not important.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

I can’t believe just how badly Trump has trashed the dignity of this office.

He’s a disgrace.

14 ( +14 / -0 )

Hard-hitting analysis from a right-wing media member.

I'm not a right-winger, I'm a conservative. George Will and Bill Kristol are right-wingers. But yes, so far there is nothing and everyone even the left are backing off this woman. Oh, her money is drying up. time to think of a new scheme.

Except the part where he was sued for being racist and lost. Textbook discrimination from your guy,

People loss in courts all the time, don't want to veer off topic, but in a case like that, it doesn't mean it's true, but the left sure do try and try and try and try...lol

I’m glad you get it

I doubt it.

The left and the last 8 years of their wield on power have completely rocked us back to the 60's of racism and the bad thing is, they have NO shame of peddling this garbage.

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

Well, I’m confused – I thought Omarosa was part of “only the best” that Trump swears he hires. How could someone be a crazy, crying low-life (and a dog) – and still be part of “only the best”? And he hired her twice!

And I’m still confused – what does Trump mean when he calls her a dog? That’s she’s loyal? She growls? Or was he referring to her looks, like he did with Ted Cruz’s wife and several other women during the campaign?

What I do know is that no self-respecting man, with any ounce of integrity or dignity, would call a women a dog – by using this term, Trump clearly shows what a disgusting, toilet-dwelling, vulgar imbecile he is.

The moral leader of our nation? He continues to show us how far down the cesspool he really lives.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

"His mental decline could not be denied," wrote Manigault Newman

This is the point. Hiring Manigault was misguided; firing her was stupid (which is worse politically). And the use of "dog"in this case would be political suicide for any American leader other than one whose followers would still back him if he committed murder on Fifth Avenue, as he presciently suggested.

But age and the awesome responsibility of the office get to all who occupy it - virtually no president who eschewed hair dye left without it snow white. Trump calling Manigault a "dog" is outrageous and unacceptable and par for Trump's increasingly erratic course, and it's the last point which is salient: How sane is the president?

9 ( +9 / -0 )

Trump is having a meltdown because the NDA he made Omarosa sign when she worked in his election campaign doesn't apply to post-election, and even if it did would likely violate the law when applied to civil servants. This administration is stupid-Watergate.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

Well, I’m confused – I thought Omarosa was part of “only the best” that Trump swears he hires. How could someone be a crazy, crying low-life (and a dog) – and still be part of “only the best”? And he hired her twice!

Look, there is No doubt that Trump made a mistake with this woman. What was her talent? Yes, he felt sorry for her and wanted to help her, but he knew her past and he knew she was trouble and no one liked her in the WH.

And I’m still confused – what does Trump mean when he calls her a dog? That’s she’s loyal? She growls? Or was he referring to her looks, like he did with Ted Cruz’s wife and several other women during the campaign?

Trump has called so many people dogs, weak, dumb, stupid, that's just how he rolls and? The media and left are worse in their name calling, far, far worse.

What I do know is that no self-respecting man, with any ounce of integrity or dignity, would call a women a dog – by using this term, Trump clearly shows what a disgusting, toilet-dwelling, vulgar imbecile he is.

Many of us feel the same about the left.

The moral leader of our nation? He continues to show us how far down the cesspool he really lives.

The last 3 Presidents polluted to the point of making it impossible to find bottom.

-14 ( +0 / -14 )

I'm not a right-winger, I'm a conservative.

Anyone to the right is a conservative, so if you are admitting to being a conservative, then you are also admitting to being right-wing.

The reality however is that 'conservative' doesn't accurately describe you as it is too broad. You are an extremist, hard-line far-right winger.

11 ( +11 / -0 )

Many of us feel the same about the left

Some on the left are trash-talking vulgarians and some aren’t.

It isn’t a very convincing to compare a single trash-talking vulgarian to a group of people comprising millions of people.

I thought this point was so obvious it would never need to be made.

Do you think Trump, as president of the US, was justified in using the word ‘dog’? I think that is what trash-talking vulgarians do.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Huckabee Sanders, when asked about Trump’s attacks on African-Americans, said

The president is an equal opportunity person that calls things like he sees it.

She is right in a sense. The president sees all white male rivals as "low energy" (or some equivalent); all white females as either "disgusting" or "ridiculous"; all Hispanics as "MS--13"; all Asians as "cunning"; and all blacks as "low-intelligence." "Dog" fits in with this train of thought.

Look at the history of his nicknames and you'll see the pattern.

11 ( +11 / -0 )

Anyone to the right is a conservative, so if you are admitting to being a conservative, then you are also admitting to being right-wing.

Not at all, because I wouldn't pass the ideological test of a real true to form conservative like George Will. There are many things with the Republican party I don't like or agree with.

You are an extremist, hard-line far-right winger.

Lol, not even close.

-13 ( +0 / -13 )

What was her talent?

According to Trump himself, her talent was being vicious and saying great things about him.

"She was vicious, but not smart."

"When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me - until she got fired!"

- Trump via Twitter

Those seem to be the two main "qualifications" Trump looks for.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

I thought this point was so obvious it would never need to be made.

We all have our difference of opinions

Do you think Trump, as president of the US, was justified in using the word ‘dog’? I think that is what trash-talking vulgarians do.

I don't think Trump or anyone calling someone a dog is anything remotely vulgar. Funny, when Trump called Axelrod, Will, Cruz a dog, not a single word from the media and now all of a sudden, it's a dire crisis? Give me a break!

The left and the last 8 years of their wield on power have completely rocked us back to the 60's of racism and the bad thing is, they have NO shame of peddling this garbage.

Most white racists became covert in their actions and found other more inventive and creative ways to continue to do what they had done for centuries.

It seems Trump is raising the stakes:

Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. has filed an arbitration against Omarosa Manigault-Newman, with the American Arbitration Association in New York City, for breach of her 2016 confidentiality agreement with the Trump Campaign.

This is probably a really bad idea. Omarosa seems to have lawyered-up quite well, and that plus the law on your side usually doesn't end well for the opposition. My guess is that Omarosa has taken advantage of her lawyers to deftly separate her Trump Campaign work from her administration work. And even if she hadn't and loses the case, this is all bad news for Trump. Anyone who ever boasts of Trump playing 4-dimensional chess should remember this: He's now cornered himself into losing, regardless of this case's outcome.

How quickly bass forgets.

Trump said that he hires only the "best people". Ergo, it follows that Omarosa was one of those best people along with Cohen, Manafort, Flynn, and all the other indicted individuals (not to mention Pruitt, Devos, etc.). Even though she had no qualification whatsoever for the job other than being on Trumps reality show (and singing his praises while there).

But then, suddenly they stopped being the best people. How quickly the "best people" fall!

How many more of these best people have to go before Trump supporters finally realize what has been going on?

Trump said that he hires only the "best people". Ergo, it follows that Omarosa was one of those best people along with Cohen, Manafort, Flynn, and all the other indicted individuals (not to mention Pruitt, Devos, etc.).

Funny and none of these people wouldn't be on the radar if it weren't for one thing and that is being associated with Trump.

Even though she had no qualification whatsoever for the job other than being on Trumps reality show (and singing his praises while there).

True that, he bungled on that for sure.

But then, suddenly they stopped being the best people. How quickly the "best people" fall!

Of course when reports come out that she was reckless in the WH getting on everyone's nerves and being obnoxious, they showed her the door and like a little spoiled brat is now trying to say, you're not getting away with this. It really doesn't matter, the woman will be in worse shape than Lewinsky.

How many more of these best people have to go before Trump supporters finally realize what has been going on?

No, because covering politics over 30 years I have seen this before on numerous occasions, it's just that all of the MSM are camping out with cameras and audio mics 24/7 to get anything on this President.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

Trump is scared stiff. Today the WH said they cannot confirm he did not use the "N-word", but are trying to dismiss it as "frustration", and his staff, who said they never talked about it, are trying to spin the tape of them talking about it how to spin him saying the N-word, are now saying, "We never said we weren't talking about it (they did!), we said we didn't confirm he said it", etc., and of course his adorers are already reverting to the "it's locker room talk" kind of mentality.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

bass4funk: "How so? You have No proof of that whatsoever."

Alright, bass... Sarah Sanders just said in the press briefing that if the president had been saying things like that there is no way he would be in the WH. So, when a tape comes out that has him saying it, definitive proof, will you stop supporting him, personally? Just a yes or no, bass.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Trump is scared stiff.

More like teed off as heck, I would be as well with that woman, can't say I blame him.

Today the WH said they cannot confirm he did not use the "N-word", but are trying to dismiss it as "frustration", and his staff, who said they never talked about it, are trying to spin the tape of them talking about it how to spin him saying the N-word, are now saying,

Not confirming something doesn't mean, that there is validity to the accusation either way. The left again sounding like a bunch of Goldfish waiting for a feed.

"We never said we weren't talking about it (they did!), we said we didn't confirm he said it", etc., and of course his adorers are already reverting to the "it's locker room talk" kind of mentality.

Ok, and?

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

I would like to remind all on this board that the only thing that constitutes an "impeachable offense" is what the currently sitting congress agrees is.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Looks like Trump could shoot people on the street while shouting the N word and still not lose his support.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

I suspect he wanted to call her a bitch, but that would be implied by "dog" since she is female.

We know Mr. President is a "dog" based on multiple marriages and lecherous actions taken pretty much everywhere he goes without his current wife.

Here's a timeline of some of his actions https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/a-timeline-of-donald-trumps-creepiness-while-he-owned-miss-universe-191860/ while owning the Miss Universe organization. If he isn't a dog, I don't know what one is.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

He needs something to justify his witch hunt.

Oh, I think the criminal proceedings against 32 people—five U.S. nationals, 26 Russian nationals, and one Dutch national—and three Russian organizations provide more than enough justification...

That would be stupid, No candidate including myself would answer, Yes. But some people will see it as a pejorative.

I see you underestimate your Republican colleagues...and I think everyone (short of Roy Moore and Joe Arpaio ) will see it as a pejorative...  Kinda like "I just grab 'em by the ......."

And he still got elected and his numbers are still the same, not wavering

He got elected in 2016 - pre-"dog", pre-"some of them are fine people", pre-Putin boot licking summit, pre-tariffs, pre-"My Campaign didn't meet with Russians, we did meet with Russians but just about adoptions, we didn't talk about adoptions we talked about dirt on Hillary, etc. etc. And I wouldn't brag about Trump's support numbers, that 39% of people still support him just goes to prove how effective Putin's influence campaign is.

Hmmmm......looking at the recent elections, it just might be a red wave sweltering.

I agree, it will be red, from lots of Republican blood...

7 ( +8 / -1 )

bass4funk: "Ok, and?"

Absolute proof that they were lying, bass. This gives credibility to Omarosa's claims, which until now you have said are not credible, lies, and now support a man calling a black woman "a dog". Well done, bass.

"Not confirming something doesn't mean, that there is validity to the accusation either way. "

For a WH that has flat out said "NO COLLUSION! IT'S LIES!" time and time again, and now shifting to "well, collusion is not a crime" after it's been shown he colluded, it's pretty clear that if they refuse to deny something, it's there. Sorry, bud. The proof is in the pudding, and they are in a whole lot of pudding coloured poop right now.

And I noticed you couldn't answer my question about whether you would continue to support Trump if and when a tape with him saying the N-word comes out. It's alright. I didn't expect you to answer. I mean, how do you justify sticking up for an absolute racist, right? Better just to avoid the question since defending him makes you just as bad as he is.

And yes, he's scared. Angry because he only misdirects his own responsibilities, sure, but he is more scared than he's ever been, and it shows.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

He needs something to justify his witch hunt.

Kind of a funny thing about that "witch hunt" - Manafort's lawyers have decided to dispense with any defense other than plaintively asking for charge dismissal, meaning the trial will proceed straight to jury deliberation and verdict. Kinda wonders what Manafort's even paying his lawyers for, but it's understandable: when no one will defend you, defense have few choices.

More will turn against Trump, and he's already finding a vastly dwindling number of defenders. Most of his former allies, still aware of his sharp tongue and the Pavlovian response with which it enlivens his base, simply decline comment (or, more ominously for Trump, make negative statements too cryptic for Trump to comprehend).

5 ( +7 / -2 )

If the former Secretary of State hadn't tried to influence the Russian 2011 election, we might not be here.

False. Clinton did not try to "influence" the election in Russia in 2011. Unless you believe Vladimir Putin. This is Clinton's comment that upset Putin so much:

“The Russian people, like people everywhere, deserve the right to have their voices heard and their votes counted. And that means they deserve free, fair, transparent elections and leaders who are accountable to them.”

Doesn't sound much like influencing to me. Sounds like a reasonable call for democratic transparency. Which Putin detests. As does his bro Trump.

Let's contrast Hillary's comment with one of Don's:

"Russia, if you're listening... I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing."

Which of these two comments do you find more damaging to the state of democracy in the world today?

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Strangler land: "Except that his popularity hasn't grown. So the rest of your post is based on a false premise."

Exactly, and so are all their other lies. I mean, here are two advisors who flat out said they did not meet to talk about that, called her a liar, etc. then were caught doing it, and all bass and others can say is, "and?" to the fact that they've been caught red-handed -- one reason. One reason she said she made these recordings is that no one would believe her, claim she's lying, etc. That came absolutely true. Now that they are being called out and it proven, it's the usual, "and? so? It's not a crime," etc., making everything else they've claimed as lies questionable at best, and all their other statements based on false premises.

But hey, we've known Trump is a racist and misogynist for years.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

...assuming the Democrats can't block his agenda.

His agenda at the moment is to index unearned income profits (stock, etc.) to inflation. This would be another hit to the treasury and would benefit a very slender demographic. When taxes are slashed and money sloshes into the economy due to a soaring deficit, chances are the economy will feel a short-term buzz (have you ever had coffee?). This is recommended during a recession, such as what Obama met on entering office, but should be reversed when times are good, such as the economy Trump inherited. Most learn this in high school.

And to think the Republicans were once the party of economic discipline.

I LISTENED THE RECORDING ! YOU SHOULD TOO !

°

History Facts

First, she lied before we could hear the recording. It was not Trump who fired her but Kelly. Trump didn't even knew she was fired.

She was accused of "breach of ethic", which is true. Why ? She use a recorder inside a room where it is forbidden (really deep underground where nuclear matter can be discussed) and admit it herself : " I do recording to protect myself, too many people lie at the whitehouse".

So, she is guilty. And that one Kelly was soft (may be she was under pressure because she was black, and not teached or protected enough, that a jury will decide, but the truth is still a big pro mistake).

°

Trump words

He should apologies, because calling a human a dog in this anglican monarchy time is "bad taste", but one of their main victims ? Yes, very bad wording.

Nonetheless, Manigault betrayal is urge and she was a big security breach with this recorder. Without any kind of racial beliefs, male tend to lashout with worst than "dog" on female. This is still an inner males insult.

Donald Trump discovered her...

Donald Trump hired her on the Apprentice...

Donald Trump hired her for a senior White House executive position, even though she had zero experience...

And now he calls her crazy, a lowlife and a dog...

And here we are in America in mid-2018 - with a tawdry TV reality show exploding before our eyes each day. But this is not fantasy - this is real-life, with real consequences for our country and the rest of the world.

The White House, the symbol of our democracy and the house of the people, has become infested with charlatans, grifters, incompetents, money grubbers, perverts, and undeclared foreign agents. Trump calling Amarosa dog is nothing to do with racist or sexist. I'll call Amarosa as wolf instead of dog.

Amarosa knows she has to leave White House one day. She has no talent to make money on her own. So Amarosa started recording from day one when she started at the White House because she has to make get rich on Trump and White House story. I have no doubt Amarosa has many more tapes and some can be certified as classified information as she recorded at White House officials meeting. If the FBI raided her home today and then the FBI will be found classified information on the tapes, SD cards and Laptop. I think FBI should raid her home to find out whether she has recorded classified information or not.

"She's a well-educated woman with a masters degree, and now experience working in the white house. She can find work."

I dunno, Stranger, how many people would want to hire a low-life snake who has committed treason?

Trump, for one

"Trump, for one"

Sigh... I'm talking about now, after she's revealed what a low-life snake she really is, not before. You see, Trump believed she deserved a chance at a great job BEFORE. Get it?

Trump because he has many like her in his WH now

"Trump because he has many like her in his WH now"

Names?

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Names?

His sons and daughter. But they can't turn against him because they would lose their inheritance from Daddy. Also Jared. Also, Hannity and Alex Jones. General Flynn, Sean Spicer. And there is the wife beater Rob Porter. The list goes on and on.

Tom Price, Steve Bannon

Looks like he doesn't like people to criticize him. It is a shame he is himself such a low life. I wonder what he would call Melania, if she were to leave him.

I don't know and I don't care. That's her problem. It just shows the kind of garbage he associates himself with and hires, and how he himself is garbage. Now we are waiting for the N-word tapes. But the Jesus evangelicals will support him no matter what.

I wonder what he would call Melania, if she were to leave him.

The kids have to stay and kiss his butt, otherwise bye bye inheritance. I can't blame them so much for that since they have dollar signs in their eyes. And god bless Melinia. She is a sweetheart and deserves better. Melinia can leave because she can get herself a good divorce lawyer.

Omarosa spied on the WH and then shared her spied material publicly to the media. If she can get away with this, the law is dead.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Amazing how Omarosa had nothing but good things to say about Trump until she got fired.

I dunno, Stranger, how many people would want to hire a low-life snake who has committed treason?

60 million-ish it would seem, seeing the guy they hired to be president.

Until Trump could no longer do any tough or dirty jobs for the GOP, I believe that with accumulated serious crimes and deadly sins, Trump would be impeached and replaced by Pence.

So much class. Such an inspiration to young people.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Trump's immature name-calling only highlights even further how juvenile he really is. He doesn't have an ounce of manhood in him. None whatsoever.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

I still waiting for someone to explain to me why Omarosa had nothing but good things to say about Trump until she got fired. Being as how Trump is so evil, she must have been lying all that time, right?

Mueller/Ocasio-Cortez 2020!

I still waiting for someone to explain to me why Omarosa had nothing but good things to say about Trump until she got fired.

For the same reason trump had nothing good to say about her until she got fired - because they are both pathetic people with no sense of morals about those they spend time with if they think that person can further their cause.

The law died when the man-child stamped on it. He's done far far worse.

Amazing how Omarosa had nothing but good things to say about Trump until she got fired.

Because she didn't fall for that trap laid out by Lara Trump and sign on the dotted line.

econstats:

Gotta love how westerns treat women.

Well they treated the Indians far worse. But they treated the cowboys pretty well.

What this all boils down to is a black woman fighting back at the man-child using his own tactics. She learnt well from her ex-boss.

Person of the year 2018 could well turn out to be a black female reality star or a white female porn star!!! As the late Aretha might say, Sisters are doing it for themselves!

Obviously President Trump has a big mouth and is just as petty and vindictive as his enemies, so accusations of this kind from both sides are meaningless. However, swing voters (those who REALLY decide elections) will judge him and his enemies by what they bring to the economy.

Trump is low class with his stupid tweets and language. Can you imagine what people around the world are thinking of the USA, personally I am ashamed to be an American with a clown like him representing our country. Oh Oh, I hear someone knocking on my door and probably will be spirited away in the middle of the night to a security prison in the desert.

Any proof he said the N-word? Not yet?

This is... interesting! Even though it be 5 years old! Tee hee!:

Engaging trolls only leads to more trolling. Ignore them.

It's certainly obvious from the starstruck way they write about Trump that reading any of their comments is a waste of time and that replying to any of them is an even bigger waste of time. The only appropriate responses to some of the stuff they come out with are likely to get deleted.

What does it matter. Saying the N-word is not against the law. He is racist anyway. Look at his failed Muslim ban and his failed wall.

Americans should be ashamed of themselves for electing such an imbecile. What a disgrace to the US presidency and everything it(supposed to) stand for.

They will all continue to support him- including the evangelical Jesus people.

I imagine a few of the happy clappy lot will be holding out for Pence to take over quite soon.
