Trump is the king of zero progress.

Please don't go! The last thing we want to see is an American president on N. Korean soil kissing Kim Jong Un's royal behind. Yuck! But Trump would get down oh his knees and do it.

It'll be another infomercial for both Trump and Kim paid for by US taxpayers for the benefit of the Kim regime and global Trump/Ivanka enterprises.

Kim continues to play Donny for the moron that Donny is.
Previous presidents relied on sanctions to deal with North Korea, just like Donny is doing - except Donny provided sanctions relief by cancelling treasury's sanctions. This means Donny is doing exactly what other presidents did with the exception of legitimizing Kim through photo ops.

As do Xi and Putin.

Kim will invite Donnie, he'll get lots pf pictures of the US President coming to meet him on his turf, showing what a strong leader he is, all of which helps further strengthen his rule.
Donnie gets nothing.
Foreign policy Trump-style.....it's called losing....

Photos with a US president is a clear win for Kim. Donny has done nothing to resolve the issues with North Korea, he has only benefitted Kim. Trumpophiles, of course, are incapable of accepting the reality of this.

KIm: Had the US President meet him on his turf further solidifying his regime, has been able to produce more nukes and refine accuracy of missiles, got US to cut back on exercises, convinced China and Russia to bypass sanctions....
Trump: Nothing but humiliation...
That's a victory so clear even Stevie Wonder could see it....

Yuck indeed. Trump already has been doing that, haven't you noticed?

Definitely not the king, but Kim is contained in as long as he doesn’t get sanction relief there’s not much that he can do, it’s true Trump didn’t get a clear victory, but neither is Kim and he’s got nothing but a few Kodak photos, nothing more

None of this happens in isolation. A solution to the NK problem has to involve China, Russia, and SK. It not just between bad orange man and NK, as CNN would like to tell you.
And for now, China likes to keep NK as a useful tool. Be glad that you have a Trump in charge right now and not warmongering globalist like Clinton.
