Wasn't it Barr's father who placed Epstein into his teaching position, and Barr who misled everyone on the Mueller report? I wouldn't trust Barr's word on anything.

Barr has some explaining to do. Getting angry won't hide his failures.

Time for Congress to investigate Barr's complicity in this - and possible cover-up.

Don't trust "I'm Donnie's lawyer" Bill Barr - he's nothing but a MAGA hat wearing Trump cultist.

He'll do his best to spin and lie about whatever is uncovered - just like he did with the Mueller report.

Subpoena all the Justice Dept to include Barr and get them in the well to answer tough questions.

Dump retweeting Jeffrey Epstein conspiracies to distract from ‘terrorist attack in El Paso’ and his own personal connections to Epstein. It was Dump with photos of him an Epstein with women partying. It was Dump mentioning that Epstein likes them really young.

Who has more to lose? English royalty or Bill Clinton? Bill Clinton was known for affairs with adults. A few people who are no longer relevant or a lot of other people who are currently in the Dump administration like the president of the US himself. It is the Republican party that publicly support pedophiles running for office.

Let's keep the unhinged conspiracy theories to a minimum today, shall we.

I will say this! It has been over 21 years since that prison has had a death.

Suicide is nearly impossible at ulta-secure Jeffrey Epstein lockup

https://nypost.com/2019/08/10/suicide-supposedly-nearly-impossible-at-ulta-secure-jeffrey-epstein-lockup/

A few people who are no longer relevant or a lot of other people who are currently in the Dump administration like the president of the US himself.

One former inmate, Uzair Paracha, who was held there for two years until 2005, wrote he was subjected to frequent strip searches, isolation from other prisoners, lights that were left on 22 or 23 hours per day.

Yet, Epstein's incarceration had a lot of irregularities in their normal procedures. Usually, a high profile prisoner will have tighter security because of the scrutiny not less unless something was suppose to happen.

Its a mad world and all I see around this case is insanity and greed. I cannot say if the failure to keep Epstein alive was incompetence or design...or both. All I know is that, start to finish, America has a crazy society....esp. sex crazy...but there is a power in crazy unfortunately.

@arrestedpaul

as opposed to the many "internet experts" who have absolutely no idea what happened, but insist on associating Trump, or Clinton, or Barr with this debacle.

That's including the president, right?

In the absence of any facts, conspiracy theorists have been gifted freedom of the house.

(Hopefully only temporarily.)

It is rather strange that the people who are responsible for running the Dept. of Justice, namely the Attorney General and his boss the President, are shocked at how poorly run the system is which they're responsible for running.

If they're going to be shocked by anybody, they should start by looking in the mirror.

Looking under the rock of Amerika's corrupt gulag archipelago more people will be coming to the conclusion that if you were surprised Epstein committed suicide, imagine how surprised he was.

Crazy, Trump is not going to prison

well not while hes POTUS, but hell be a private citizen again.

bass4funk: "Crazy, Trump is not going to prison and Barr is the man that schooled half of the Democrats practiced law, taught law and wrote the book while most of these Democrat candidates were still in Highschool. Lol"

Scared "Lol"s are out in full force today as it's quite clear Trump will most certainly be going to prison once out of office, if not before. Barr is only saying there is suspicion now after immense pressure and proof that there has been wrongdoing here. Meanwhile, Trump is calling babies who have gone home to come to a hospital so he can smile and give a thumbs up on the gun massacres. Now even Scaramucci is saying Trump is toast.

From reports I've heard, it's very difficult to commit suicide at this facility (almost impossible according to people who have served time there). Even when one is not on suicide watch, the inmates do not have access to anything that one could use to commit suicide. The sheets are made from material that would not hold up an adult trying to hang yourself, nor is there anywhere to hang from. The guards are supposed to check up on all inmates every 8 to 30 minutes.

Epstein had information on many in high positions he could have used as leverage to negotiate a plea deal - not one where you would be free, but at least one where he could have been transferred to a more cush facility (like he did when he was prosecuted in Florida). What motive would he have to kill himself?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

What motive would he have to kill himself?

Not wanting to spend the rest of his life in prison, not wanting to watch his name dragged through the mud for being into children, external pressure from individuals who threatened his outside life if he didn't do it, and that's only what I can speculate. The real answer could be something else altogether. Or maybe he was murdered.

The idea that anyone knows either:

A) That he definitely was murdered, or

B) That he definitely wasn't

is pretty silly. Anyone claiming to know what happened is a morons - at this point none of us know.

That all said, it sure seems pretty suspicious that a guy locked up in a place where only the highest levels of authority had access to him, in a place where he was supposed to be checked every 30 minutes, ended up dead. Sure is convenient for Trump. If there is a conspiracy to kill him, Trump and associates are the only real possibility to have had him killed. No one else would have had that kind of access.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

What motive would he have to kill himself?

No one wants to be a social pariah and the reason hardly matters. Ask Alan Turing. But the collective motives for wanting him dead do seem to outweigh any personal motives for wanting to die....and by a great deal too. But yes, one has to wonder how he did it. Hanged himself? With what?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

So how long are the Trumpets going to defend Trump for murdering Epstein?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Sure is convenient for Trump. If there is a conspiracy to kill him, Trump and associates are the only real possibility to have had him killed. No one else would have had that kind of access.

Yes, it would make for a great Oliver Stone movie, no doubt, but reality-wise, far fetched and unreal like the Chupacabra. However and to be more serious, it does seem very suspicious and there are a lot of other powerful people domestically and internationally that would definitely like to have seen him silent. Whitey Bulger suspiciously dies, gets beaten to death in a very highly guarded and protected area knowing that he’s a potential witness and dies before testifying? As with Epstein a lot of people want it Bulger dead as well and we don’t know yet who is responsible, but it would be very highly irresponsible to point the finger and say unequivocally yes it would be the President of the United States when there is no validated proof whatsoever to make such an accusation.

He was probably pretty practised at autoerotic asphyxiation.  He could easily have done himself in with the bedsheet.

That or the Clinton or the British Rotal family had him offed because of the sordid tales he could have told of their behavior.

Makes more sense that DT doing him in.

Scared "Lol"s

Not scared, no need to be, just funny.

it's quite clear Trump will most certainly be going to prison once out of office,

If you believe that then you also believe Kim Kardashian will be the next President and Kanye VP.

It will never happen, if Hillary won’t got to prison, neither will Trump.

Barr is only saying there is suspicion now after immense pressure and proof that there has been wrongdoing here.

There is a suspicion not because of pressure, look at the circumstances of how he died.

Meanwhile, Trump is calling babies who have gone home to come to a hospital so he can smile and give a thumbs up on the gun massacres.

What?

Now even Scaramucci is saying Trump is toast.

Yeah, uh-huh....the Mooch lasted a whopping 11 days in the WH and being fired for terrorizing the staff, yeah, he’s credible. Lol

Time for Congress to investigate Barr's complicity in this

That time would be better spent investigating people who flew on Lolita Express multiple times.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

The same government that can't keep a high profile criminal on suicide watch alive insists on keeping you safe with more gun control.

Barr has some explaining to do

LOL as if any of this is Barr's fault.

It was Dump with photos of him an Epstein with women partying. It was Dump mentioning that Epstein likes them really young.

But his 4 times with Epstein and his police record of Trump throwing him out of his home for fondling a woman is not nearly or remotely comes close to the Clinton 27 long term documented times with Epstein on his private remote Island.

Who has more to lose? English royalty or Bill Clinton? Bill Clinton was known for affairs with adults. A few people who are no longer relevant or a lot of other people who are currently in the Dump administration

As well in the previous last three administrations, don’t forget to overlook that as well.

like the president of the US himself. It is the Republican party that publicly support pedophiles running for office.

I didn’t see the Democrats trying to chase Anthony Wiener or these are the Democrats out of office and why do they support them. Please elaborate.

Yet, Epstein's incarceration had a lot of irregularities in their normal procedures. Usually, a high profile prisoner will have tighter security because of the scrutiny not less unless something was suppose to happen.

And that is what it is being investigated.

Barr said on Saturday that he had asked the Justice Department's inspector general to investigate Epstein's death.

In his remarks on Monday at the Grand Lodge Fraternal Order of Police's National Biennial Conference, Barr said the criminal case against Epstein was personally important to him and that his death denied his victims the chance to confront Epstein in a courtroom.

"I was appalled - and indeed the whole department was - and frankly angry to learn of the MCC's failure to adequately secure this prisoner," Barr said. "We are now learning of serious irregularities at this facility that are deeply concerning and demand a thorough investigation."

Barr is pushing forward with the investigation into the irregularities of the events at the prison. He's one of the few people who is actually trying to find out what happened, as opposed to the many "internet experts" who have absolutely no idea what happened, but insist on associating Trump, or Clinton, or Barr with this debacle.

"Barr has some explaining to do."

You have to be kidding. This is not Barr's fault.
