another round of direct payments to people and families to help stimulate the economy, and hazard pay for healthcare workers and others on the front line of the pandemic.

Good. They are the brave barrier between life and death in this crisis.

Not sure why Republicans would be against this, but fine with financing the laboratory in Wuhan...

22% unemployment. What level will it return to by the November elections?

Fresh round of $1,200 direct cash aid to individuals, increased to up to $6,000 per household.$175 billion housing assistance fund to help pay rents and mortgages.

$600-per-week boost to unemployment benefits.

15% increase for food stamps and new help for paying employer-backed health coverage.

$200 billion in “hazard pay” for essential workers on the front lines of the crisis.

No "Trump name" on checks.

The House Democrats are governing in the interests of the American people.

Trump is only interested in creating a self-serving false narrative. Trump only cares about Trump.

Thanks for doing the right thing, Speaker Pelosi.

and hazard pay for healthcare workers and others on the front line of the pandemic.

This should include all workers deemed to be 'essential'. Including farm and ag workers, especially those employed in abattoirs, plus store clerks, public transit employees and so many others.

The 'elite', the masters of the economy have by now seen how critical labor is to maintaining their businesses.

Way passed time to start showing more respect to workers, including providing them with living wages, better working conditions, and expanded benefit programs.

The masters of the economy have been given tax breaks; now it's time to give workers their fair share of breaks.

Wall Street is not the economy of the U.S. It's merely where the millionaires and billionaires go to keep score.

With that out of the way, it was nice of the clown to pay off his buddies first, I'm sure they appreciate it.

A lot of people think that if corporate giants could get the robots programmed fast enough to replace you, they would. Then they would fight tooth and nail to keep their money as the economy comes crashing down around them. See... No workers = no one with money to buy any of your corporate crap. But the rich are smart enough to know they need customers, so they bitch about labor, but they keep it as a necessary evil.

With that out of the way...

Has anyone looked at the latest info out? Out of all the states reopening, or planning to phase in a reopening, NONE of them have met the WH guidelines for reopening. But the clown in chief continues to cheer on the moronic masses that push to reopen even though they are undermining his own policy. What kind of inept, idiotic, asshat does that? Oh yeah... Trump.

I do.

*Stimulus** Checks for Illegal Immigrants (Never will Or should happen)*

*Tax Cuts for Blue States (the richest failed States)*

Get out of Jail Free Cards for Prisoners (but why?)

Federal Takeover of Elections ( as in mail-in voting)

Anti-Worker Provisions (we need to take care of the lazy as well?)

Well, at least it’s DOA when it gets to Mitchi’s desk.

Because one trillion dollar socialist bailout bill, and another billion dollar one are enough for those socialist-hating Republicans...

Especially since most of the money went to large corporations and special interests...and not to small businesses and others that most needed it. They know they can't get away with that again, so it's "Nope" on any future bills.

Remember that in Nov, along with whatever the total number of COVID deaths will be by then...

Because one trillion dollar socialist bailout bill, and another billion dollar one are enough for those socialist-hating Republicans...

Thank God that will end as soon as this lockdown is done!

Especially since most of the money went to large corporations and special interests...and not to small businesses and others that most needed it.

And Pelosi’s Bill won’t get to them either, but they’ll get to Voter suppression whatever that is and immediate voter registration. In other words, Nancy’s bill is for illegals, but has nothing to do with the protection of small businesses.

Remember that in Nov, along with whatever the total number of COVID deaths will be by then...

Yes and it still won’t save Biden.

60 million Americans going hungry at the moment. 60 million who can not afford healthcare.

"ITEP has made many recommendations for cash payments to taxpayers in this downturn and the bill does a great job of incorporating smart provisions. It extends payments to undocumented immigrants who file taxes with an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN filers) as we’ve suggested, provides payments to previously excluded age groups and non-child dependents, and increases the Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit, two of the main ways that public policy helps families and children escape poverty. Thanks for doing the right thing, Speaker Pelosi.

I do.

*Stimulus** Checks for Illegal Immigrants (Never will Or should happen)*

Federal Takeover of Elections ( as in mail-in voting)

This is just a reactionary far right take on looking after the most vulnerable, not to mention spurious reasoning to reject less discriminatory ways to vote.

The GOP doesn't want certain people to vote, so they maintain voter suppression.

If jailed Trump associates can get the vote, why not other felons?

As for mail voting, Trump did it in the Florida elections in March.

“Absentee ballot” and “mail in voting”not the same thing.

nancy said 80 percent or what is in this is a continuation of what was already agreed upon in a bipartisan way. So that means 20% isn’t. Take it out.

*Stimulus** Checks for Illegal Immigrants (Never will Or should happen)*

But rich corporations with questionable ethics can receive billions in bail outs.

This is just a reactionary far right take on looking after the most vulnerable, not to mention spurious reasoning to reject less discriminatory ways to vote.

So if you want to eliminate all doubts and confusion on both sides, make voter ID mandatory, then it takes the argument and suspicions away on both sides.

The GOP doesn't want certain people to vote, so they maintain voter suppression.

Liberals are afraid voter ID will stop them in their tracks to cheat.

If jailed Trump associates can get the vote, why not other felons?

Why do liberals even allow convicts to leave or allow them to vote especially if they’re convicted felons?

As for mail voting, Trump did it in the Florida elections in March.

He’s the President. Can’t even believe liberals want to go there.

There are dozens of these hidden throughout this bill:

“And it would restrict Trump’s ability to dismiss inspectors general by only allowing them to be removed for specific reasons such as neglect of duty, knowingly violating laws, abuse of authority or a felony conviction.”

what does this have to do with Covid?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Because one trillion dollar socialist bailout bill, and another billion dollar one are enough for those socialist-hating Republicans...

Thank God that will end as soon as this lockdown is done!

Counting you, that's 1 person in the US that thinks so...we got our first Socialist President in 2017...

Thanks for agreeing with me....

Remember that in Nov, along with whatever the total number of COVID deaths will be by then...

Yes and it still won’t save Biden.

MAGA dreams....

If the liberal media dont cover this to twist it into something, they have to cover Biden's statement instead.

“This is not a moment for excuses or deflections or blame game. We’re — we’re in the middle of a pandemic that has cost us more than 85,000 jobs as of today,” the presumptive Democratic nominee said during a virtual roundtable with three governors, according to Real Clear Politics.

“Lives of millions of people. Millions of people. Millions of jobs,” he said, possibly realizing his faux pas about the number of jobs after flipping the numbers.

So instead lets mock Trump about "hope".
