"We cannot buy drugs in Venezuela, you die before you get them."

Alright, enough is enough. That quote was from a 53 year-old woman buying a drug that I, a Canadian, have to take for high blood pressure. If that lady's mother had stayed in Venezuela, and NOT been able to take that pill, she'd more than likely be dead. That's what Maduro is doing to his country - killing off its people, one by one, two by two,...get the picture?

You want to humiliate Venezuela, and I will not let our people be humiliated

Neighbors to Venezuela want to help them with aid. No begging. No humiliation, but a wise person accepts help when it is offered if there is a need. There has been a need for a few years.

Colombians and Venezuelans commonly flow back and forth as the economy is each country goes up and down. Venezuela has been in a down economy since 2007 and the President there hasn't made any headway in getting it out of that situation.

I don't live there. Only Venezuelans can decide what they want to do.

Venezuela used to be one of the economically strongest countries in the western hemisphere before it went socialist. Now look at it.

Venezuela is just the latest of many examples of how socialism doesn't work. If it makes people equal, it only makes them equally poor and desperate.

Maduro:

“I will not let our people be humiliated.”

Well said, Mr. President. Now try this one:

”Over my dead body!” or rather “Over their dead bodies!”

The aid is for propaganda to install a US puppet president who wasn’t democratically elected.

imagine what would happen if Russia gave free lawyers, medical care and assistance to black Americans or South Americans?

Sickening how you liberals just can't help yourselves by slandering Trump in every single thing he does as a humanitarian. He could give you millions of dollars and you'd STILL find a way to berate him.

Venezuela needs help and he's offering it.

approval of the United Nations Security Council to deliver aid without Maduro's cooperation, but Russia would likely block such a move.

"The more it looks like an overt attack on the authority of Maduro, that makes the aid more of a target," said Konyndyk, who has led U.S. government responses to international disasters.

Why not say to Russia, China and Turkey "Yous take the food etc in and hand out to the people" That way Maduro can not say that it is a overt attack his authority as it will be his allies delivering the stuff.

If they say NO, then it makes them as bad as Maduro. That NO would say they openly agree to Maduro actions that are making his people suffer.
