There is no conceivable way that either Labour or Conservative could justify this sort of spending. spree. It is not cura 1970.

Borrowing and having to service that borrowing are too very different scenarios. The inevitable taxation on middle income earners would be catastrophic for the economy.

And risk quantization would push debt margins to levels that UK could never sustain.

With the pubilcation of full manifesto promises, I could break down the numbers. So it is a wait and see game, one thing for sure Labour £400 billion is lunacy.

Many ( most?) who identify as Jews are non-believers.

The BBC (and the whole right-wing UK press) is always reporting that Corbyn is said to be "incompetent" and "unfit" to be Prime Minister and that the Labour Party is "anti-semitic" without ever explaining how or why and never giving any concrete reason (let me guess: the left wing of the Labour Party is critical of the Israeli government's policy and actions to the detriment of the local Arab population?) And yesterday's BBC broadcast of this visit to the North by Tory Sajid "Nosferatu Javid and Labour's John McConnell was truly shocking for its treacherous visual hatchet job on McConnell by ill-lighting his face so that the shadowy close-up of his features during the interview made him appear ghoulish, ominous and scary like a character in a horror movie. Who are they fooling?The BBC is simply not fit for purpose as an impartial news outlet.

What am I denying? Are you saying that being Jewish is defined purely by belief in and following the Jewish religion? That would surprise may people I've know who describe themselves as Jewish.

I generally agree with your criticism of the BBC on this matter. However, I'm also concerned there is a degree of anti-Jewish feeling among certain elements of the Labour party (and other groups) that should be explored. I watched a recent program on the BBC about this matter, and there were reports from some Jewish interviewees who had been the victims of such people. However, the program did not explore those accusations and instead focused on the Labour Party's procedures for dealing with complaints. I wanted to know more about the complaints themselves. I still do.
