Here comes the Brexit Party.

Triffic, a political party with no membership and only one policy and led (at least on the surface) by a pretend ‘man of the people’ who’s done nothing productive in 20 years. The future is looking rosey.

serrano you don't even understand the embarassingly rudimentary basics of what is going on in your own country (tariffs come to mind) - let alone complex problems abroad. Stick to posting YouTube links that nobody looks at.

Hunt is deranged. He actually defended Trump's retweeting of Katie's Holmes' racist garbage and Trump's recent attack on London mayor Sadiq Khan. He also wants to increase the British military budget by 25%, even though the country is on its knees from 10 years of Tory austerity. This is the guy who can't remember whether his wife is Japanese or Chinese.

From your link - Hunt's tweet on that gaffe: "Rule #1 as a new Foreign Sec: when reflecting with the Chinese on a conversation you had with them in Japanese about your Chinese wife, don’t get any of those mixed up! Apologies to the long-suffering Mrs H...!"

The tory days in power are coming to an end.

Yes. They and Labour have royally screwed up. Here comes the Brexit Party.

Bring back May

Let's not.

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson" says so much!

In the interest of balance, I'm not sure that Jeremy Richard Streynsham Hunt says much less.

But as we don't generally get to choose our own names (Tommy Robinson excepted), we should probably focus on the person rather than the name. Hmm, not sure where that gets us.

Should we not talk more about Jeremy Hunt's time in Japan? I think many of us could contribute to that topic.

I read a comment elsewhere today describing Johnson as the front end and Hunt as the rear end of a pantomime horse. It seems apt.

@zichi

Bozo Johnson had to retreat to the countryside with his girlfriend following their domestic violence with the press and protestors camped outside their building.

I wouldn't say it was doemstic violence, it was more of an argument between themselves - a shouting match.

Johnson's girlfriend was one of Worboy's victims. It has been reported that hours before her and Johnson had a blaring argument, Worboys had confessed to a string of other assualts. This news had upset her and was likely the cause of the ruckus.

Personally, I don't want Johnson as PM. I don't want the Tories in Government. However, I think the above facts need to be taken into consideration regarding last week.

Both Hunt and Johnson are irrelevant; after the UK leaves the EU, the UK will become totally under Washington's orders. In the UK, as in Australia, we vote for a prime minister but get a Washington master. The foreign policy of both countries is totally controlled by the US. Both nations need prime ministers with a spine.

The entitled liar Johnson hides away from scrutiny yet still has the arrogance to expect to become PM. It's sickening that people will still vote for this waste of space.

Neither are fit for public office.

Each as poor as the other.  both public school, Oxbridge privileged twits.  Hunt made a mess of his previous jobs and has been pretty useless in his current one.  BJ (great initials) has been equally inept in his previous jobs, but is liked by the British public.

Hunt has tried to play on his Chinese wife as showing something about hin personally, but who cares?  BJ has had a pretty eventful private life and so clearly will not want to discuss it.

As for the shouting, so what?

Imagine if this all let's Nigel Farage into a position of being kingmaker post the next election.......

Hunt or Boris Johnson. What an utter shambles the Tory Party has become.
