The cuts to the NHS are ideological, half the cabinet have connections to private health providers. Johnson and his mates have lied consistently about NHS funding, past and future. They should be ashamed.

The newspaper said the boy had suspected pneumonia and had to be treated on the floor because there were no beds available.

But I thought socialized health care was taking care of everyone. What gives?

How much does the ITV reporter pay into the NHS each year? What is the annual cost to the child's parents for NHS care? Who, in the usual/normal NHS chain-of-command, should the parents, and this reporter, have first notified about the lack of a proper bed?

And Corybn should be chastised for touting false Russian propaganda suggesting that the U.S. was interested in buying/owning National Health Service (NHS). Does that tactic  fall under the heading of "politics as usual", or "whatever it takes to win"?

zichi - Trump stated last year in any new trade deal with the UK, the NHS was on the table.

Actually, Trump did not actually say that the NHS was on the table. Trump did say that everything was on the table. People want to hear what they want to hear.

In a subsequent interview with Piers Morgan, Trump said: “I don’t see the NHS being on the table. Somebody asked me a question today and I say everything is up for negotiation, because everything is. But that’s something I would not see as part of trade. That’s not trade.”

So Trump has made completely opposite statements on a topic.

And you guys pick the one you like, and say that's his position.

Seems legit. Carry on.

Strangerland - So Trump has made completely opposite statements on a topic.

It appears that the cherry-picking had already been accomplished by the British media outlets, and the same Labor Party parrots, who were just touting the latest Russian-supplied faux info about the sale of the NHS. At least they are consistent.

And you guys pick the one you like, and say that's his position.
