It's unfortunate the Democratic party does not have someone younger and more vibrant to take on trump.

Labor know Trump and his fellow Republicans continue to weaken worker rights, and now with the virus as cover will probably accelerate their efforts while also further weakening environmental and consumer protection measures. Trump wants corporatist authoritarianism to replace democratic systems where those not in the elite classes can have a tiny bit of say.

U.S. Attorney Matthew Schneider in Detroit said in March a federal takeover of the UAW is among the available options.

A government takeover of unions would be one more step towards more firmly establishing Trump's brand of national socialism.

Wait till those union members find out most of their pensions are ripe to collapse.

That is a huge worry. If/as share prices get lower, the have-the-mosts, the putative 'elite' will vulture up even more for themselves. While using their power and wealth to increase automation to replace labor. While further outsourcing. Leaving an even larger army of the unemployed for the 'elite' to control for their purposes.

I think I know somebody who might be interested in this.  Particularly if this certain person ever became aware that all unions in China (and Vietnam) are government controlled.

Clueless Joe suffering early dementia

Reagan had Alzheimer's and things worked out because of his staff. Don't worry. Biden will hire qualified staff while Trump has Jared and Ivanka. Biden will also respect the system and not insult judges like Trump. Also bye bye TrumpCare.

Smiling sad sack Joe with sunglasses will ride along with the orange "Horseman of the Apocalypse" to bring more chaos to the country in November. Biden is no Eugene Debs (or even an Andrew Cuomo). Without a surprise replacement for the silver grinning gramps the Dems can only rely on Trump's self-destruction (which is btw still very much on track).

Yes Joe is in mental decline but so is Trump since he likes to repeat the same words all the time like "Hillary" and "Wall". He obsesses over his wall even though people use ladders and shovels to go over it. Again at least with Biden we won't have Jared and Ivanka.

Funny comments from a Democratic party member who was also amongst the main push in weakening the manufacturing industry via trade agreements that allowed the owners to move their plants overseas along with the jobs many used to have. Got to love time as it the memory quickly fades and hence they never saw what was happening as China rose and manipulated the world into thinking it was safe to invest all goods made in one pot was best for the world. Look how that quickly turned from a mask of democracy trade to military proactive in the name of research to mask its real intention to rule the Pacific.

Of course the UAW was going to support Biden, most unions vote Democrat, why is this even shocking? And?

Trump/pence vs. Biden/Clinton. OMG.

Which will happen again as the endorsement isn’t the members, only the leadership.

Yes and you don’t even have a say, the union will speak for you, how Stalinist of them.

Which will happen again as the endorsement isn’t the members, only the leadership.

The UAW endorsed Clinton in 2016 but has said it believes a higher-than-normal 32% of members voted for the Republican candidate.

this world only really be news if they had endorsed Trump last time. Biden meanwhile is wondering exactly what a “United Auto” is.,

Wait till those union members find out most of their pensions are ripe to collapse. This virus will hasten this greatly but will be held back till after election. The real PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE WILL BE VP CHOICE cause Clueless Joe suffering early dementia ! Remember HRC had an 98% chance of winning :)
