Thank you Tricia Newbold. Thank you.

Most corrupt president in American history.

And still, the GOP members of Congress don't care.

clearances were initially denied to dozens of administration officials because of concerns over possible foreign influence, conflicts of interests, questionable or criminal conduct, financial problems or drug abuse

Would Ivanka (and daddy's) numerous trademarks arranged with China while the US and China are negotiating trade agreements be an example of 'possible foreign influence, conflicts of interest'?

Jared-Ivanka 2024. I can smell it now.

It stinks, too, doesn't it. The Trump era has clearly exposed the corruption in US politics, making clear for all willing to see the non-existent boundaries separating crime, business and politics, just like Russia and other autocracies.

Expect the US to slide further down this index the longer Trump's shady White House is in charge. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corruption_Perceptions_Index#cite_note-cpilong2-3

So a corrupt, shady guy arranged top secret clearance for his family.

Nothing to see here.

Just another screwup made by the unqualified president. Another issue that will hobble him. A competent president wouldn't have put himself into this position.

How about an investigation into Israeli collusion?

The similarities between the Trump White House and an organized crime family are just amazing - and the similarities will continue as fraud, corruption, and racketeering investigations and prosecutions are used to take down both.

Donald Trump, and his corrupt family, will end up just like John Gotti and his family...

Yeah, Trump is an utter and complete wanna be dictator. Been saying this forever as well.

Nepotism (x)

Abuse of power (x)

Obstruction of justice regarding a legal investigation (x)

Only giving positions of power to "loyal" cronies (x)

Upholding and protection the constitution of the US.... (_)

Protecting and supporting the citizens of the US... (_)

Hmmmm....If Trump were a dictator, Democrats would be in a lot of trouble, a lot, the gulags would be open for service. But there is nothing wrong with Nepotism, liberals were ok with the Kennedy’s that lived by it as well as the Bushes and the McCain’s and the Clinton’s...abuse of power, your describing Washington, the very core of it, obstruction...ok, if he did, he won’t be indicted or removed, that’s off the table, if the Democrats are THAT stupid and want to go that route, they will have completely lost the WH, I hope they go for it.

Only giving positions of power to "loyal" cronies (x)

Welcome to Washington, these politicians practically invented that word.

The constitution, wanting to stack the SC, wanting to lower the voting age to 16...lol, want to abolish the EC, limit the President from appointing conservative justices to the court, but Democrats want to stack liberal judges in the 9th circuit and lastly, with what’s happening along the border, the Democrats say they are for border security and yet, they do nothing, glad they care so much about country, citizens and safety.

I said he wants to be one not that he is one. The only reason he's not is because we do have a reasonably effective system to keep a balance of power.

Good article about how dictators and those who support them think. You're fitting it to a T.

I said he wants to be one

Like the last one, here you will buy my insurance and like it. So now we don’t have a choice, Yup...full on dictatorship.

The only reason he's not is because we do have a reasonably effective system to keep a balance of power.

Until a Democrat is in office then anything goes.

"buy my insurance and like it"--That's not how it works. You Bass have private insurance already. Some other people, not Bass, are uninsured and are supposed to get insurance. Why is that such a terrible dictatorial idea?

Worst. President. Ever.

Whistleblower says Ivanka, Jared got security clearance over experts' advice

What Newbold is saying is that several people were given clearances over Newbold's advice.

Tricia Newbold, a White House security adviser, told Democrats in Congress that clearances were initially denied to dozens of administration officials

And someone higher up than Newbold chose not to accept Newbold's partisan denial of clearances, and she's upset, and hurt, and a Hillary worshipper. I suspect that she was/is still emotionally devastated over Hillary's 2nd failed attempt to become POTUS, and denying clearances was her doing her part for the "resist movement". Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed and Newbold was overruled.
