Im not sure why you seem to be surprised by this. It’s like if your house is robbed and you go around saying the robber was a bad guy.

Pandemic breaks out and each country handles it differently with their own agenda. Japan doesn’t test. China tests but results inaccessible. 90,000 infected in China versus 360,000 makes little difference. So the actual numbers are higher. Then what? You still have to protect your own citizens.

It’s different though if this is biowarfare and an intentional release of a deadly virus designed to cripple, which is what Reckless brought up.

In a worse spot no doubt. But you can't ignore the fact that the CPP, in their effort to pretend there wasn't a problem so as to not adversely affect their image, allowed the problem to explode in Wuhan in the first place through their inaction.

The CPP tried to ignore the problem in Wuhan, which is why it hit so hard there, but took quicker more decisive action in other areas, which is why the virus was better controlled in those areas.

I think you should be appreciative for what China did to protect not only Chinese but also you.

What do you want China do ? To issue unconfirmed wrong information to the world ? China wasn't prepared to the breakout, the virus is new and so many things we still don't know. Just because we don't know something then we become to cover something up, what logic is that ?

I link it with the CCP. And when the virus first appeared in Wuhan (which is in China, not?), the CCP initially suppressed the information and even ordered the first test results of the virus at Wuhan university destroyed, and ordered the scientist who had gone to the public to shut up. If the CCP had been honest with the world about the virus, we would not be where we are. Yes, this is the CCP virus.

The math doesn’t check out. Its claim of 3,300 is absolutely impossible. Even being generous with estimates when comparing to deaths around the world, it can’t be less then 10,000.

It is quite clear by now that the breakout happened long ago without being reported. Even if it did happen in China, it is still within the Chinese border.

It is your govt to protect you from it happening inside your country, because it is your sovereign right to do so, not Chinese sovereign right.

A much simpler explanation is that the CCP simply is lying. Having kicked out the foreign reporters, a closed internet, and social control system helps tremendously. If you want reliable data, look at countries whose data you can trust.

The CCP sheds crocodile tears for the masses to soak up but I highly doubt that there are any Chinese now that are falling for this. The real number of dead in China is somewhere above 120,000 and climbing but doubtful we will ever really know unless the CCP is overthrown from within China.

The truth is KNOWN . Do you honestly trust the figures given by the Chinese authorities? Any scientific proof that Chinese infections were milder? There was no one to verify this. Lies, lies and lies by the CCP in order to save face. State propaganda. . Now China is playing the saviour after causing the death of thousands of people worldwide. Shameful! China should pay damages to all the countries it infected with the Wuhan virus.

Let's be clear. The authoritarian Chinese regime failed to heed warning signs of an emerging epidemic, and then tried to cover up the problem as the death toll climbed, going so far as to lie to the World Health Organization. These failures directly led to Covid-19 spreading globally, causing the deaths of thousands of people, and causing catastrophic damage to the global economy. In short, in an effort to hold on to power, Chinese leaders killed huge numbers of people and caused untold economic and personal hardship.
