China to test Lunar New Year travelers for COVID-19; Shanghai reports new cases

In this case I hope Japan will do the sane and right thing and maintain the ban on inbound travel for non residents until things calm down.

Why not just stop non essential travel inside China.

My colleagues in China tell me that travel is pretty much suspended in and out of Beijing.

Adds to the growing body of evidence of this now being an endemic disease and of lockdowns and other draconian measures not working in almost all cases.

The chinese should be barrred from entering any country with out papers from 3 doctors saying they are covid free, and when they arrive in a foreign country they should held for 7 days checked and again.
