No way the adults in the room will allow Trump to snatch this up, however strong his attraction to shiny objects is.

No way, right?

Jeeze, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

He can be my guest in my home as well.

GDP growth at a 4.1% increase. A number Obama and his fellow Democrat failures didn't even realize existed.

Korean War MIA remains have been returned, peace in Asia, and maybe most importantly, the United States is once again and firmly, the shining light of freedom and Western values.

Mattis said there had been no decision.

Only Trump's staunchest followers might believe anything anyone in Trump's administration says.

in the form of a dossier containing allegations that Trump had spent time with Russian prostitutes there. Trump has denied the allegations.

Given the many times Trump's lied about his numerous dealings with porn stars and prostitutes, given how many times Trump's been caught lying about any subject he's ever addressed, and given he's the most dishonest politician in American history, only Trump's staunchest supports might believe him on this.

@poopyg GDP growth at a 4.1% increase

Good to see further economic improvements on those made prior to Trump's presidency. Curious to see if the growth can be sustained. Or is it a blip that'll be followed by a big drop? Time will tell.

peace in Asia

Afghanistan?

the shining light of freedom and Western values.

Do those western values include the rich and the powerful paying off porn stars and prostitutes? The rich and powerful in business stiffing smaller businesses? Nepotism? Using political office to increase personal wealth? Money laundering?

"Trump has said he wants to improve ties between the two nuclear powers"

Oh, the horror!

"Trump was criticized at home for failing to confront Putin publicly over Moscow's interference in the 2016 U.S. election"

These people still don't understand 4-D chess. And we still haven't seen any evidence of Russian meddling in the 2016 election other than those pathetic Facebook ads and Coats' claims. Perhaps Laguna or Pete can provide this evidence?

Do the Russians spy on us? Of course they do. So do many other countries. And we spy on them. I remember Merkel being pissed at having her phone conversations listened in on by the Obama administration.

Trump should get along with Putin. The witch hunt is meant to divide the U.S. and Russia. The Deep State wants war with Russia. Trump doesn't want war, he wants to build hotels in Russia. Most people have no problem with that.

PTownsend - while you obsess over Stormy Daniels, pronouns and identity politics, the rest of us will watch President Trump walk back the suicidal policies of Obama and re-establish the dominancy of Western values while enriching the entire US and her lucky allies.

...re-establish the dominancy of Western values

I like that one - I suppose that's in contrast to Kenyan-Marxist values. I for one have nothing against "Western values" (though Trump seems to, considering the problems he's caused with every European country); I do object to "eastern values," meaning the oligarchies east of the Urals that Trump finds so fascinating. We'll see how far he has and will continue to emulate these before his demise.

Vlad has probably found a new batch of hookers to entertain Chump!

Definitely more appropriate for the master to invite the poodle.

serendipitous - Har! Good one! BTW whatever happened to Stormy...

Madverts: "Definitely more appropriate for the master to invite the poodle."

Pfffft! If Hillary had won and Putin invited her to Moscow you'd be lauding this as proof she isn't a warmonger.

It’s funny how virtually No economist mentions that. Lol

Peter Schiff.

Although he doesn’t phrase it as a continuation of somehing positive.

Trump has said he wants to improve ties between the two nuclear powers, whose relations have dipped to a post-Cold War low in recent years.

That's the current narrative and you'd better believe it.

A golden opportunity for the lads to carve up and divide the EU and former US allies.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration is looking into lifting sanctions against a major Russian aluminum company founded by one of Vladimir Putin's closest allies.

Odd that, innit?

An easy snipe.

I have a very hard time taking anything seriously when it reads like Stalinist or North Korean propaganda.
