It was pretty smoky all day north of Sydney. The southerly has hit now to bring temps down. It should also help the firefighters as the southerly is blowing the fires back across themselves.

As local media reported Morrison was in Hawaii on a family holiday, about 500 protestors gathered outside his official Sydney residence to demand urgent action on climate change.

So, did anybody ask these protesters what exactly they want Morrison to do? Destroy the Australien economy? Anything else?

@WilliB - The protesters are just crackpots. However, Morrison has given millions of dollars to other countries and to Chinese businessmen recent months. Meanwhile, the firefighters had to open a fund-me page just so they could buy more paper masks. And, he is spending Christmas in Hawaii while Australia burns.

Scomo has turned out to be a massive disappointment as PM. Wrong person for the role. Enjoy the clean air in Hawaii Scott while it lasts.
