I can't believe Putin or Trump?

Masha Gessen: It’s not just that both Putin and Trump lie, it is that they lie in the same way and for the same purpose: blatantly, to assert power over truth itself.

Neither the US nor Russia can afford to keep spending their taxpayers' trillions on this, especially when in both countries there are so many people suffering in so many ways.

China must be smirking.

The arms industries in both countries benefit at the expense of the citizens. Trump and Putin both benefit. Yeah, that definitively proves Trump isn't Putin's lapdog.

Before the next news cycle, conservatives will be here regurgitating verbatim the falsehoods and illogical talking points from Fox "News." Should be fun to read their strikingly similar and narrow messages.
