Nice try, but that is saying that there were no other contributing factors, just straight out Covid deaths. But most deaths are based on Covid being the reason the patient dies from pneumonia, kidney failure, stroke, etc.

The article says there are eight instances from the 581 that were incorrectly listed as Covid related and the medial examiners office agreed and was changing it.

Florida doesn't keep track of the stats accurately. If you remember, the woman who kept the stats was fired for pointing out that the state was intentionally undercounting tests, hospitalizations and deaths.

Of course mistakes in counting will be made, especially in a virus as complex as this one. I wonder how many deaths there have been of those who actually did die from something caused by the virus, but were NOT reported as such.

At this point with so many deaths from the virus, so many sickened by it, so many economies damaged (maybe permanently) by it, I can't understand the 'reasoning' of those who dismiss its severity. Of course they probably do have the right to do so. And maybe that's part of their job.

In comparison, WW2 had approximately 460,000 American deaths. A war that covered 5 years, averaging less than 100,000 deaths in a year vs. a rate of COVID-19 deaths at present of about a 1000 a day, which, doing the rough math says 365,000 deaths in a year.

With the current administrative ignorance, it isn't a stretch, at all, to think if it continues, a 5 year total could be devastating, with a 365,000 a year death rate exponentially rising, easily to a rate of a 1 million per year and more.
