"Go about your Sat. night, NYPD cops are protecting you" the department's official account tweeted.

Police nanny state

How brave of him! Any suggestions about gun violence, which kills over 50,000 in America every year?

While people may be dying, Trump is tweeting about how important his travel ban is. Heartless and deplorable.

He should, personally, after seeing 3 attacks in the UK already, I'm not looking forward to ANY attacks in the US, he should try and uphold it, what just happened in the UK is sad and tragic, but that doesn't mean we have to stop life in this country, He already promised to help them with whatever they need, that's about all he can do for now and I sincerely hope the SCOTUS will reinstate and uphold his travel ban.

I agree with Laguna. Where is the worry about gun violence? And this is not a time to push your ridiculous travel ban, which supposedly isn't a ban, Trump. He's such an embarrassment at a time where we should just be supporting London.

I'd like to hear your evidence that this attack in London was perpetrated by immigrants, refugees, or travelers from the countries specified by Trump's ban.

I'm not talking about London, I'm talking about the US, sad as this tragedy is a lot of this can be greatly minimized and as for the US, the best thing for us is to reinstate the travel ban, but I have a feeling more than ever this might in the end help Trump greatly.

Trump using this to push his travel ban pathetic pos he is..How about some major gun reform first that is what will save lives more than anything.

Really? I guess the U.K. Should have truck or knife reforms as well.

This situation has no impact on the travel ban.

Gun fans aren't willing to tackle the gun deaths if it means they lose their guns. They are happy to tackle the terrorism issue if it means banning all Muslims since they're already afraid of them anyway.

Trump should extend his Travel ban to the UK, since it's become the recent hotbed of Home-grown Terrorist cell creation within the West.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

just talking about saving human lives and since in America there is more gun related deaths than acts of terrorism doesnt it make sense to sort that problem out first?

Oh, please, guns are as bad of a problem as radical terrorism is to Europeans. You guys always want to make it about guns, take away the rights of law-abiding citizens, but when Americans say, you should have stronger immigrations laws, you guys shout, everything is fine and dandy. No thanks, I'll keep my guns, as I said before, Texas has a very large Muslim community, wonder why they don't have any problems with radical extremism in that State?

Gun fans aren't willing to tackle the gun deaths if it means they lose their guns.

We are willing to tackle far left loons that want to take our rights away.

They are happy to tackle the terrorism issue if it means banning all Muslims since they're already afraid of them anyway.

No, not banning Muslims in general, but throughly vetting them and weeding out the radical Islamists, works for Israel, works for Japan.

Trump could still put through a travel ban that the courts can't touch. Ban everyone - courts can't say racist or anti-Islam as it would effect the entire world, thus no supreme court justice could say anything other than "extreme, but constitutional." I wouldn't be surprised if potential terrorists came from UK, Germany, or any other former safe country anyway (though I can gather what phrase they'll use when they start killing...and it won't be "Odin is great!"

take away the rights of law-abiding citizens

Muslims don't have rights?

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Even without the ban in place he's had time to "figure out what the hell is going on". So, what has he done in the meantime? Or, was it all baloney?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Crazy: "While people may be dying, Trump is tweeting about how important his travel ban is. Heartless and deplorable."  Uh, no, these latest attacks just show once again that Trump is right.   Oh my...   Farage: We don't just want words on terror, we want action   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsl4WzfN8MM

Back on topic please.

Muslims don't have rights?

You are joking, right? Seriously What kind of question is that?? Ok, so what do you think?

stronger laws are good never said they wernt just missing a few key Countries in his ban that have a track record of funding and harbouring radicals..

Saudi Arabia comes to mind.

Well Israel only had 122 terrorist attacks last year so that definatly does not sould like its working well..Japan well its a whole different story all together.

Look where Israel is located geographically, they are surrounded by enemies everywhere that want to destroy them and if you factor in the size of the country and the location with all the players that want to kill Israelis 122 is actually a drop in the bucket, not great, but could be much worse, that's my point.

CNN blames 'vans' for the recent attacks while ignoring the fact that people of a certain religion keep driving and jumping out of said vans with weapons and yelling the same religious phrases. London mayor was ridiculous on TV, saying nothing to be alarmed about!?? There have been 3 terror attacks in UK in 4 months and armed police patrolling the streets to try to prevent more? I can understand that to avoid general panic, but it isnt being presented that way it is being presented as asking people to put their head in the sand and blame themselves and their own lack of love for what is happening.

Don't think the UK will accept any Trump support especially considering he leaked top secret information to the terrorists after Manchester. At this time Trump should be considered a possible security threat to the UK

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

considering he leaked top secret information

Oh Trump did this? Not the anti-Trump people in the government and reporters at newspapers who will print anything, even top secret, that they think will hurt Trump? I see.....

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

@blackl Oh Trump did this?

Note the 'news' source. I wouldn't blame you if you don't find it credible; after all Rupert Murdoch's global empire is, as rightists claim, a core part of MSM. But Google has many other sources you might find trustworthy.

Nice try, the topic from @dcog was the leak of the UK concert bombing evidence. That was leaked by an anti-Trump person in the government and was printed by I believe the New York Times to try to embarrass Trump.

Wasn't talking about Israel.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Wrong, Trump leaked it and no country on Earth should trust him ever again with any intelligence, especially after leaking Israeli intel to Russia like a swooning girl at a pop concert, in the process exposing an Israeli intel asset to IS. If he wasn't so moronic and incompetent, he would be considered a cunning terrorist agent deeply implanted

Wrong, Trump leaked it and no country on Earth should trust him ever again with any intelligence,

Ok, but now that we got that out of the way, that would never happen, the left and the Europeans can huff and puff and get angry for a few days, but at the end of the day, intelligence gathering is vital and we all need each other and that won't change, not as long as radical extremism looms over all of us.

especially after leaking Israeli intel to Russia like a swooning girl at a pop concert, in the process exposing an Israeli intel asset to IS. If he wasn't so moronic and incompetent, he would be considered a cunning terrorist agent deeply implanted

Isreal, the U.K., Germany and France will always have a strong alliance. So we can all cool our jets now.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

You guys sure like changing topics when things dont suit the narrative. Israel doesnt seem to have any issue with what Trump told the Russians because they announced they would still be sharing intelligence. It is not really even clear what Trump even told them. as that story was just dropped from the media like all the false accusations eventually are.

Meanwhile the UK said they probably wont share intel but thats because someone not Trump leaked it to the newspaper who were dumb enough to print it.
