The second meeting demanding that NK shed EVERYTHING in return for vague promises from trump was just theatre and trump had no intention of 'negotiating' but was trying to shift the responsibility for failure onto Kim. For many here who read only headlines, the ploy clearly worked. But there are deeper levels here and, if the impossibility of the U.S. willingly giving up its military occupation of South Korea with China in its ascendency is not obvious, maybe it should be considered before judgements are made based on propagandistic words rather than actual behavior.
