Top 3 in order:

Trump.

Trump.

Trump.

All threats are exponentially worse due to... Trump.

9 ( +13 / -4 )

I find it hard to believe that in this day and age, the US would have a President that uses his own very limited knowledge to assess the threats to our country, while totally ignoring his intelligence experts and professionals.

Everything that was reported in "Fire and Fury" is true; he is an idiot, a moron, someone with the understanding of a fifth grader, and most worryingly, a danger to the republic...

7 ( +10 / -3 )

We'll have rightists along shortly telling us how Trump is correct and the professionals are incorrect.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Why would I believe a pathological liar over our intelligence agencies?

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Isn't it a worry for the GOP that their leader is working against our own intelligence agencies.

Isn't it worrying that their leader's world view is colored by his business interests and ego rather than the national interest?

No doubt he has a loyal base of bigots who see him as the last hope of their old world prejudices, but isn't the GOP much bigger than just a band of haters?

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Trump is ignorant of matters of substance and he’s a pathological liar.

His views on maters like this are based on little or no knowledge even if he was capable of giving an honest opinion.

Coats also said Russia's social media efforts will continue to focus on aggravating social and racial tensions, undermining trust in authorities and criticizing politicians perceived to be anti-Russia.

Russia, Qanon, Bannon's crew and the many others spewing far right, ultranationalist fake news, 'alternative' facts, and flat out lies will continue to target America's intellectually vulnerable through social media.

They'll continue to use media produced by organizations like the NRA and its even farther right gun industry sponsored offshoots, the KKK and others.

They'll continue to use media owned by global media titans like Rupert Murdoch (Fox 'news', etc.), Sinclair Broadcast Group, Putin (RT, Sputnik, Counterpunch, etc.) to push their anti-democracy, pro-fascist messages.

And the 35% of anti-American voters they targeted in the 2016 election will once again lap it up.

Good to know that the stupidity in Washington seems to be limited to Congress and the White House.

Surprised that JT hasn't used the anti-Russian leaks https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/25/world/europe/russian-documents-leaked-ddosecrets.html which has shown hundreds of thousands of Russian govt secret documents (175 gigabytes) which show how everything the Russians has denied are all true. Elections, sports doping, Ukraine attacks, Ukrainian airline shot down Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, all true. https://ddosecretspzwfy7.onion.to/about/ Best to get the docs using TOR browser. The IA copy has been removed already.

Wikileaks decided not to publish these documents ... hummmmm.

China and Russia pose the biggest risks to the United States, and are more aligned than they have been in decades as they target the 2020 presidential election and American institutions to expand their global reach, U.S. intelligence officials told senators on Tuesday.

Agree 100%

@ulysses

You are right, the GOP is not just a big band of haters and they should be worried but, I think if history says anything, it's easier for them to keep Trump in the White House over pushing a new candidate for their party. SO, stuck with him basically. It's unfortunate too, you can see it on their faces. I think it's not even the concern of losing, but rather the idea of 4 more years digging the grave deeper.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Trump thinks Russia's a friend and Canada's an enemy, so, yeah, Trump's a moron. No surprises here.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

"My people came to me, Dan Coates came to me and some others, and they said they think it's Russia, uh, I have president Putin . . . he just said it's not Russia. I will say this, I don't see any reason why it would be."

Trump (2018) in Helsinki

What a moron.

It's pretty wild to see you guys deflect illegal activity by pointing your finger at someone else. You don't even try to defend Trump, probably because you know its true.

If someone says:

"Trump did something illegal/Trump made a mistake/Trump is an idiot"

You say:

A) But what about this guy/that guy/Hillary/Obama?

B) Pffft, right. You liberals screaming your heads off.

C) LOL, you caved/your fault!

4 ( +6 / -2 )

You have to admit, Trump is in some pretty hot water. Even Mitch McConnell is breaking up with Trump over the Syria/Afghanistan pull-outs. I guess its a good thing he hasn't added it to his list of achievements, he might need to flip again to keep the GOP on board with him. Dark days ahead, his Christmas was nothing compared to what's coming his way...

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Well trumps can’t be wrong, he gets all his information from the best sources...FAUX NEWS!

they would NEVER give him bad intel would they!? :-/

Hopefully this orange nightmare will be over soon.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Well, on this one, I do think the President is way off if he thinks China or ISIS and even Russia is not a threat. He definitely should do more to listen to his intelligence committee.

Well, there's hope for Bass yet...

Pffft! Trump didn't send emails with classified info from an unencrypted private server in his home.

On the other hand...

Trump's so clumsy and stupid, he compromised classified info with the Russian Ambassador - I'd bet there are thousands of classified e-mails on his unclass server.

Come on House Intel Comittee - get to those subpoenas going....

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/trump-revealed-highly-classified-information-to-russian-foreign-minister-and-ambassador/2017/05/15/530c172a-3960-11e7-9e48-c4f199710b69_story.html?utm_term=.5e47bb9ac1af

Pffft! Trump didn't send emails with classified info from an unencrypted private server in his home.

I believe Trump doesnt know how to use a computer, so you have the excuse that your man is just dumb.

However he does use his personal phone(which can be easily hacked) to make official calls.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Well, there's hope for Bass yet...

But sadly for Democrats, I just can’t say the same....

Back to black and white...

On the other hand...

Trump's so clumsy and stupid, he compromised classified info with the Russian Ambassador - I'd bet there are thousands of classified e-mails on his unclass server.

And you know this because.....Don Lemon, Mika.....or was it Blumenthal that said so...maybe Spliff....lol

Nope, none of those....

https://www.foxnews.com/us/report-trump-shared-secret-info-about-is-with-russians

Come on House Intel Comittee - get to those subpoenas going....

And then what?

I would say what you and the other Trumpers said; "LOCK HIM UP", but I'm willing to let our democratic institutions decide that...in comparison to some folks who don't believe in our Constitution...

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Trump's base will live and die by their creed, "Experts are always right, unless they disagree with Trump".

3 ( +7 / -4 )

I do think the President is way off if he thinks China or ISIS and even Russia is not a threat

It's too bad Trump stayed in the Rits-Carlson Russia and now he is Putin's puppy dog with the pee tapes. But I think it would be to US's best advantage if Trump just admits it and gets it over with. Nothing Mueller would care about.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Trump didn't send emails

The problem is Trump wants to help Putin

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Pffft! Trump didn't send emails with classified info from an unencrypted private server in his home.

What about . . . But, but, but.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

That’s his right and so what? McConnell is not the President.

Dang straight - he's just the guy in the Senate who will determine impeachment when the House sends over the indictment...he's no one important...

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Yes and McConnell is going to jump off the Grand Canyon because someone thinks he should. You guys...ROFL.

I think what you meant to say was McConnell ain't going over the Grand Canyon with Trump...I'll definitely agree with that...

You may want to read this...Trump knows McConnell will let him sink...

@stormcrow

He also thinks

China invented global warming

McDonald's is GREAT american food

Non-disclosure agreements are invisible cloaks for illegal activities

He is an expert on technology

Twitter is a good way to influence people being indicted to shut up

and America loves Trump.

Just to name a few...

Hey, 280 is pretty good, he can afford to flop on a few. It’s kinda of gravy now.

Especially when 279 came in the form of orders directly from Putin...

2 ( +4 / -2 )

I think what you meant to say was McConnell ain't going over the Grand Canyon with Trump...I'll definitely agree with that...

No, I meant, McConnell won’t go over the cliff because Democrats say so, he’s not a liberal lemming.

You might have meant that, but you're wrong. Read the link - Mitch don't play - he'll step aside as Trump goes down the canyon...he may even give him a push. Guy's a snake...

Yeah, I know liberals hope for this and hope for that and the GOP doesn’t believe in selling out, liked Wasserman Schultz did, poor Bernie...

The Great Conservative Civil War - pick your side; Trump or Coulter, Dobbs, Erickson, Cernovich, Wherner, the Daily Caller....

The Intel community seeks to push their own agenda no matter who is in office. They force elected politicians in office, from the president downwards to bend to their will by leaking, propaganda through their media lapdogs like CNN and releasing so called reports. Most are a bunch of ideologues who no one voted for but wield immense power that they don't want to give up or see challenged. Most don't like Trump and want to get rid of him.

Rantings - right from the Kremlin...

Russia, Qanon, Bannon's crew and the many others spewing far right, ultranationalist fake news, 'alternative' facts, and flat out lies will continue to target America's intellectually vulnerable through social media.

Did you see the picture of that kid smirking at the elder native fellow that turned into a bunch of manufactured outrage (by both teams)? The account was suspended for being a fake account:

The account claimed to belong to a California schoolteacher. Its profile photo was not of a schoolteacher, but of a blogger based in Brazil, CNN Business found. Twitter suspended the account soon after CNN Business asked about it.

On Tuesday, a source familiar with Twitter's investigation into the account said the company's initial findings suggest that the account was run from the United States. The source cautioned, however, that determining which country a Twitter account is actually run from can be very difficult.

A legal advisor to Nah Cardoso, the Brazilian social media star whose picture was being used by the account, told CNN that "Cardoso has never authorized any other account to use any type of image or content of her."

The account, with the username @2020fight, was set up in December 2016 and appeared to be the tweets of a woman named Talia living in California. "Teacher & Advocate. Fighting for 2020," its Twitter bio read. Since the beginning of this year, the account had tweeted on average 130 times a day and had more than 40,000 followers.

Late on Friday, the account posted a minute-long video showing the now-iconic confrontation between a Native American elder and the high school students, with the caption, "This MAGA loser gleefully bothering a Native American protester at the Indigenous Peoples March."

Video giving the image context shows there was nothing in particular about this moment in time. It was just one moment stolen out of context, and presented to Americans by some unknown entity with unknown motivations, causing people to dox this kid and call for violence against him. A sixteen year old kid.

This is ridiculous. Anyone who condemned anyone based on that photo has shown that they are susceptible to Russian influence, and they cannot even trust their own opinions, since said opinions are influenced stuff like that image.

Trump just threw the intelligence community under the bus again in new tweets.

Very un-American.

Nope, none of those....

Never said anything it it being factual, I forget, it’s not CNN...oops!

I would say what you and the other Trumpers said; "LOCK HIM UP", but I'm willing to let our democratic institutions decide that...in comparison to some folks who don't believe in our Constitution...

Given the fact that Stone didn’t use bleach bit to scrub HD, left it in a restaurant and didn’t leave our ambassador to die with jihadists and the fact he never sold 20% of our Uranium One to the Russians or hid emails on his aid.. If he even has one on her PC only to be pulled out later by the cops because the Husband had a problem with young girls, now if Stone was alleged to have done a third of that, I might chant lock him up

C'mon you didn't go there,  You did.. The Republican party investigated Benghazi to no end and they still couldn't come up with any one person to blame. And on the Uranium one deal.... You really need to lay off the Red Koolaide for a bit (See below). Oh and one more thing... Hillary is not President. Trump is! And judging by his behavior, he is a security threat period!

Intelligence juxtaposed with ... unintelligence.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Pffft! Trump didn't send emails with classified info from an unencrypted private server in his home.

Why are we still talking about this? Do people still think President Obama wasn't born in the USA too?

There is no proof that HRC did this either. Now, her assistants inside the State Department definitely DID send classified data (Secret and Top Secret) to her server (in her basement and later inside a commercial data center). I've read the public FBI reports and interviews about this, mainly since I've run commercial email servers for over 2 decades and was interested in that aspect.

Accounts on her server, not her account(s), were accessed by people not approved to have access. Her account may have been hacked too, but there isn't proof of that.

We often forget that during this period, IT at the state department was failing to keep their email servers secure and often the servers were off line. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-cybersecurity-statedept/state-departments-unclassified-email-systems-hacked-idUSKCN0J11BR20141117

And before someone claims that there were Trump email servers transmitting govt secrets to Russia, that isn't true either. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/11/01/that-secret-trump-russia-email-server-link-is-likely-neither-secret-nor-a-trump-russia-link/

I believe Trump doesnt know how to use a computer

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

That was exactly my response when I heard about it.

The President of the country doesnt know how to use a computer, Hahahahahaha.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Well, on this one, I do think the President is way off if he thinks China or ISIS and even Russia is not a threat. He definitely should do more to listen to his intelligence committee and doing the same thing Obama did and that’s a very dangerous position to take.

If someone says:

You say:

Everyone makes mistakes. Trump's mistakes are nothing compared to Hillary's and Obama's mistakes.

Even Mitch McConnell is breaking up with Trump over the Syria/Afghanistan pull-outs

Trump is right on this, Mitch is wrong. You guys are funny. If Obama had ordered the pull-outs, you'd be cheering.
