What other animals have been infected ?

If it gets into the wild animal population, then there could be numerous virus strains in the future to be passed back into humans.

Corona viruses are all over the place, but usually they do not easily jump to humans.

Remember that the Wuhan Institute of VIrology was concentrated on researching bat viruses, and especially this animal-human transmission.

In addition, this quick mutation should put an end to the whole "vaccination" business. What good is a vaccination against a virus that mutates as rapidly as this?

Research should focus on treatment, not vaccines.
