Defend it in good conscience if you can. I can't.

Nobody is defending the Protocols. All your quote says is that Hamas believes that Israeli actions follow the Protocols, and they do. The authenticity of the Protocols is irrelevant.

The Zionist plan is limitless. After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion", and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying.

Henry Ford once said:

The only statement I care to make about the Protocols is that they fit in with what is going on. They are 16 years old, and they have fitted the world situation up to this time."

The Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Monday dropped its longstanding call for Israel's destruction, but said it still rejected the country's right to exist and backs "armed struggle" against it.

Israel responded to the announcement by accusing Hamas of trying to "fool the world", while the group's main Palestinian political rival, the Fatah faction of President Mahmoud Abbas, also reacted coolly to the policy shift.

Israel said the document aimed to deceive the world that Hamas was becoming more moderate.

"Hamas is attempting to fool the world but it will not succeed," said David Keyes, a spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "They dig terror tunnels and have launched thousands upon thousands of missiles at Israeli civilians. This is the real Hamas."

The Palestinians aren't fooling anyone.

Here's hoping that someday you Israeli regime supporters quit channeling Heiki Andrews, and start channeling Jerry Taylor.

Hamas is a terrorist organization that intentionally targets innocents, including children, in both Palestine and Israel.

Pretty spot on! They seem to have a good grasp of what Israel is doing. I understand why they're upset.

We are talking about The Protocols of the Elders of Zion here. A vicious false document which was used as 'evidence' in the sick anti-Semitism of Europe leading up to the final solution. It is still disseminated among fundamentalist Muslims ( Jew-banning Saudi Arabia are big fans ) and perhaps neo-Nazis.

A pretty disgusting document with a revolting history. You have to think carefully about the people quoting this proven forgery as truth.

Defend it in good conscience if you can. I can't.

@Fizzbit

This is the translation of article 32 of the Hamas charter translated by Yale Law School:

Do yourself a favour, accept this one. This is well known, don't make yourself look ridiculous. I hate this because I while I oppose Israeli occupation, I can't support a group with this kind of filth associated with it.

They're not Muslim psychos.

I'm certainly no defender of Israel and particularly scumbags like Sharon and Netanyahu, but an organization which referenced the Elders of the Protocols of Zion in its charter does have a whiff of sick fundamentalism or the Third Reich about it.

It was ( is? ) there. This is not an MSM lie. I don't know how the crackpot conspiracy theory sites deal with this fact.

"And for the record, I'm no fan of Hamas."

Why not? The ultimate subjegation of a people by the NAZi tactics of Israel. Hamas gives food, health care, and fights the good fight. Only the MSM and the US government says their bad. They're not Muslim psychos.

dropped its longstanding call for Israel's destruction

Israel has long called for Hamas to do this, and now that they do, it's criticized as trying to "fool the world". The current regime in Israel has no desire for peaceful coexistence, just the segregation and subjugation of the Palestinian people. And for the record, I'm no fan of Hamas.

Celebrating, dancing and filming the twin towers go down. Then the MSM PTTownsend clan starts pointing fingers at Iraq. Enjoy the grass as sheep do.

Emotions aside, I'll put this out there not to incite but discuss.

Is the blog you provided the link to part of Putin's global media network?

If so, I'll call fake news. And alt facts. And an attempt to incite.

... and Israel's goal is still the destruction of Palestine. Looking at the maps over the past decades makes this perfectly clear.

My understanding is that Hamas believes that who ever handed Palestinian land to the zionists, leading to the creation of Israel, did not have the right to do so.

But I guess them not accepting that their land was given away does not sound as bad as them wanting to destroy another country...

Their goal is still the destruction of Israel no matter how much lipstick you put on this terrorist pig.
