Musk is an intelligent fool. Has knowledge, lacks common sense and wisdom. I'm all for freedom, I'm not for free-DUMB.

Musk became another rich idiot quite a while ago.

Elon Musk is an idiot.

Dear Elon,

You do not have the right to kill people to quench your thirst for greed.

There's just something about Billionaires. The overwhelming majority of them seem to think human lives are disposable. Unless it's their own, of course.

@rationalreader Our scientifically illiterate media have convinced large numbers of the less intelligent among us that getting the virus is a death sentence. I

I read a lot of online English newspapers and watch Japanese TV news, but have yet to read or hear anyone say anything that would convince even the slowest that 'getting the virus is a death sentence'. Could you provide a link showing an example of someone saying that. Someone other than an online troll or flamer. Unfortunately there are trolls and flamers who use social media, even forums like this, to push wack agendas.

The king of self-publicity spoke. Obviously Musk does not understand what the word "fascist" means.

he does good at rockets, we know that much.

Paid for by the tax payer. He's definitely a socialist.

Musk is another billionaire with no regard for any nation or anyone other than himself. He's like many other of the globe's other 'elite' in that regard, including Trump. Though he is hundreds times more intelligent than Trump and a vastly superior businessman.

3 million cases worldwide. 200,000 deaths. Death rate 7%. America 1 million cases. 61,000 deaths. Death rate 7%.

I can't deny the figures here, but we would probably broadly accept that far more people have caught the virus than the official figures.

If we look at Germany, which has been very active in testing the figures show:

Cases: 161,549

Deaths: 6,467

The death rate is 4%.

South Korea, another country with a proactive testing regime, has a death rate of below 3%.

However this doesn't mean that the virus is any less dangerous - it just spreads even more quickly than we thought. The only positive is that we may get towards some kind of herd immunity sooner that we thought.

You are referring to reported cases. There’s enough data in already - and more coming in every day - that show that the actually infection rate is much higher than reported. Therefore the death rate will eventually be adjusted down. It will be more than seasonal influenza, but nowhere near 7%.

Quick, someone check if there's been ANOTHER delay in the Model 3. Musky's gotta be covering up for something.

Elon Musk is an idiot.

He is driven. That is usually a good thing for a business leader. Plus, he pay is dependent on meeting revenue goals and total sales, so anything that gets in the way is a personal problem. He's been working for $0 salary for years.

Google Paradise PD Tesla scene.

Pretty much sums up Elon Musk and every other Tesla driver in les than 2 minutes.

"If they didn't know they had the virus, how do you know they had it?"

Because New York State is doing randomized antibody tests to find out the true extent. Currently 24.7% of the population of NYC and 14% of the population of NYS are infected, according to Governor Cuomo - approximately 10 times the number of diagnosed cases.

Elon Musk: End this shutdown and go out and drive my cars!

Mark Zuckerberg: Stay home and go on Facebook!

LOL

Tesla produces a fraction of the cars of its rivals but has a much larger stock market value on expectations of tremendous growth.

4 times GM, 7 times Ford.

On the biggest disruptions to Tesla has been the government-ordered shutdown of its factory in Fremont, California.

They should have built the factory in Tennessee.

I dont like Musk and his Tesla factories, but he is correct on the lockdown hysteria. It is scary to see how many people willing to be hearded into a big brother state like sheep, under the pretext of a virus scare. Authoritarian thugs of all stripes must be highly interested to see this.

Ummmm 6.1% much?

America 1 million cases. 61,000 deaths. Death rate 7%.

I am not generally a fan of Musk, but on this he is absolutely right. Our scientifically illiterate media have convinced large numbers of the less intelligent among us that getting the virus is a death sentence. In fact, the chances of serious harm are extremely small unless you're old/sick/obese/hypertensive. 90% of the 3 million infected in New York State don't even know they have the virus.

If we isolate & protect vulnerable groups, the rest of us can get on with our lives.
