Trump is allowing this virus to morph into something bigger and deadlier while the rest of the world tried to fight it.

The U.S. should be sanctioned until he is ousted as a leader

The final bill for "Trumpcare" in January 2021 will, in the end, have made even his most ardent fans sick of "winning".

3 ( +8 / -5 )

The U.S. should be sanctioned until he is ousted as a leader.

Yeah that should do it. Do you even realize what you are saying?

Refusing to reopen puts some districts at odds with U.S. President Donald Trump

The list of those at odds with Trump grows daily.

the United States has one of the highest numbers of cases per capita in the world.

The US becoming less great each day as Trump continues to bungle everything he's involved in. A reverse-Midas, an unclothed emperor.

9 ( +12 / -3 )

Yes and after all the fun liberals had criticizing Florida the other day we find the numbers were wrong.

96 percent of cases in one facility marked as positive was supposed to be 9.4% and the VA was marked as 76% not 7.6%. No wonder there is an “increase” in number of cases.

-10 ( +3 / -13 )

What was happening 6 weeks ago? not Memorial Day. Not 4th of July.

The number of new cases reported daily began rising about six weeks ago

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

An entirely preventable tragedy.

You cannot wish a pandemic away.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Memorial Day WAS 6 weeks ago.

How many people need to die due to prez-45? Isn't that the real question?

8 ( +10 / -2 )

@blacklabel What was happening 6 weeks ago? not Memorial Day. Not 4th of July.

Another keep it simple and reduce the frame of discussion to otherside-bad- ignore-my-'side's'-problems and complexity coming from the Republican Rapid Response Team.

Lots of things happened. People clubbing, going to church, gun clubs, restaurants, attending political rallies and demonstrations, among going to dozens of other places, many refusing to wear masks and practice social distancing. Many of those not following safety suggestions following a leader who called doing so 'un-American'.

The first paragraph of this article makes your whining mute.

Alabama, Florida and North Carolina reported record daily increases in COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday, a trio of grim milestones that follows the first nationwide increase in fatalities since mid-April as some U.S. states rushed to reopen.

Florida still makes the list. All those Republican run states that were trying to satisfy the idiot in the WH are now petri dishes which create something far more dangerous than the original strain in other country in the world.

Is this the winning you voted for? How are those stocks, the economy, the unemployment, border wall, and Trumpcare?

Funny enough, they all could have been accomplish if the idiot in the WH would have taken the virus seriously and stopped worrying about his own greatness. He ruined the country like he did his family and his casinos.

Yet despite all that- the numbers for Florida were totally wrong.

miami is supposedly the center of the pandemic how. Whose mayor mentioned protests caused this new spread? Oh the mayor of Miami.

where is the GOP convention to be held? Oh just in Florid

Meanwhile NY is being praised by liberals as a model of corona response leadership.

Cuomo is selling a poster, taking a victory lap to celebrate his role in the deaths of “only” 32,000 people.

He's 'just doing his job'.

Cuomo is selling a poster, taking a victory lap to celebrate his role in the deaths of “only” 32,000 people.

But isn’t it great that millions didn’t get infected and die? Or is it bad now because it’s N.Y. and not a conservative state. Personally I think it’s disgusting regardless.

LOL! What?

Trump change the GOP convention from NC to Florida because NC GOP wanted to wear masks and practice social distancing.

where is the GOP convention to be held? Oh just in Florid

LOL! Where is the logic?

Where is the logic? Cuomo is celebrating because infections are down, and there were no deaths yesterday!

NYC Has Its First Day In Months With No COVID-19 Deaths

by selling a poster for $14.95 and pretending he doesnt have a death rate that he is directly responsible for that is 7 times higher than Florida? we "celebrate” corona deaths now, after the fact?

First, that would make trump responsible for the 135,000 deaths, the unemployment, and poor economy.

Thank you finally admitting his failures!

Second. where are those funds that are being raised by selling the posters going towards?

Probably to benefit the people and the city.

If it was the trump foundation, it would funneled back to the trump family. See the differences?

LOL! Where is the logic?

I'm calling BS on these "COVID-19 deaths" numbers. I personally know one person whose daughter went back to the hospital for an ear infection which she has had on and off for many months, and was suddenly diagnosed as COVID-19 even though she was not tested or treated for it and had no other symptoms. They got a bill for thousands of dollars for the visit, but were told that it would be free through the CARES Act but only if the visit was for COVID-19.

This is interesting - 23% of all reported U.S. COVID deaths are in Cuomo-run New York City.

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

@Black

More spin by you and foxnews. Positivity rates does not effect or change the number of people who are actually infected.

You are trying to mislead everyone on this article in attempt to justify your illogical position implying that the number of infections are wrong. The article does prove that they are.

That is why you need to read before simply posting articles! Or, simply stop trying to distract with purposely misleading articles from bias foxnews!

LOL! where is the logic?

4 ( +7 / -3 )

May 25 was 6 weeks ago? Not on my calendar.

you are correct. But to stay on-topic, the incubation period is 21 days, yes? So Memorial Day and other gatherings all played a hand in the case and death growth. This year was an early Memorial Day - actually the earliest date in May possible.

The GOP has screwed up and they are following the wrong guy. That guy has ignored science and his own department/expert suggestions for how to address the pandemic.

is that really so hard to admit? People are dying - doesn't that matter? The current horse is lame.

@Serrano

Why would your unverified anecdote be proof that the death rates are false? Your friend's daughter luckily did not die, so she wouldn't be counted in the death rate. She was infected and contributed to the positive rate!

This is interesting - 23% of all reported U.S. COVID deaths are in Cuomo-run New York City.

Why would it be interesting that the largest city in the country and most visited by national and international tourists have the most infections and most deaths at the beginning? The same is true for highly popular tourist destinations with a small local population.

Wasn't both Tokyo and Sapporo put on lockdown because of infections?

"I would tell parents and teachers that you should find yourself a new person, whoever's in charge of that decision, because it's a terrible decision," Trump said.

We will, on Nov 3rd...start packing your bags. Don't worry about your clothes - they'll be provided for you when you arrive at Rikers Island...

"Because children and parents are dying from that trauma too. They're dying because they can't do what they're doing. Mothers can't go to work because all of a sudden they have to stay home and watch their child, and fathers," he said.

"They're dying because they can't do what they are doing" Wow, the Alzheimer's has really taken its toll, hasn't it...

Trump, who has been reluctant to embrace mandatory face masks ordered by many U.S. governors to control the spread of COVID-19, also told CBS Americans should wear them "if necessary."

What? But you tweeted last week that to wear a mask was "Anti-American".... So which is it?

Trump's campaign views the reopening of classrooms as a key to economic recovery and a boost to his re-election chances on Nov. 3.

Sacrificing your kids for his failed re-election bid...

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Why would your unverified anecdote be proof that the death rates are false? Your friend's daughter luckily did not die, so she wouldn't be counted in the death rate. She was infected and contributed to the positive rate!

That's the whole thing, she was never tested, and yet her case was labeled as COVID-19. Hmmm...

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

@Serrano

That's the whole thing, she was never tested, and yet her case was labeled as COVID-19. Hmmm...

Once again, where is the logic? You questioned the deathrate and do not believe all those people died from complications related to COVID-19, and in your own words, it is "interesting" that NYU has 23% of the deaths.

You think that 23% is too high which mean Cuomo is doing a better job than @Black and trump claim?

You mean the 23% is too low which means that the deathrate is more serious than @Black and you are saying.

LOL! Which is it?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

They got a bill for thousands of dollars for the visit, but were told that it would be free through the CARES Act but only if the visit was for COVID-19.

Wow, Trumpcare sounds like a pretty shoddy deal. If only we had Medicare For All, your friend and her daughter wouldn't be looking at such a huge bill.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

You think that 23% is too high...

Yeah. One city out of the entire country accounts for 23% of all COVID deaths ( according to official numbers ) is too high, dontcha think?

which mean Cuomo is doing a better job than @Black and trump claim?

Uh, no, that would mean Cuomo is screwing up royally. You feeling OK, Silvafan?

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Want to translate this one for us...

"They're dying because they can't do what they are doing"

They can't do what they are doing, so they are dying, because they are doing what they can't be doing....

And you call this guy a Stable Genius?

And which is it, masks are "Anti-American" or they're not?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Wow, Trumpcare sounds like a pretty shoddy deal.

I keep telling you people we don't have Trumpcare, go ask Congress why we still have Obamacare. Or just ask John McCain's daughter.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

@lincolnman

And you call this guy a Stable Genius?

And which is it, masks are "Anti-American" or they're not?

They have no response, so they keep coming up with "look at this and look at that" strategy.

If they really doubt that COVID-19 is a problem, ask them where is Don Jr?

He has been MIA since his girlfriend was infected. He is hiding because he was also infected and don't want to upset daddy by going public!

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Or just ask John McCain's daughter.

How many years now? And still nothing...

4 ( +4 / -0 )

@Serrano

Uh, no, that would mean Cuomo is screwing up royally. You feeling OK, Silvafan?

You keep grasping at straws that you don't even understand your argument or logic for that matter?

You questioned the validity of the numbers. You think 23% is too high, so you think the real number is lower.

Which means if the number is actually lower then @Black and trump no longer have a strong argument against Cuomo's performance! @Black argues that Cuomo is responsible for so many deaths, and you argue that the numbers are inflated. However, neither one of you have a logical argument or evidence.

What benefit would Cuomo have in making the deathrate 23%?

If 23% is really high then he risks his political career and criticism from the public.

LOL! Where is the logic? You feeling OK, Serrano?

Trump, who has said he may withhold federal funds or remove tax-exempt status from schools that don't open.

Yeah but he won’t. It’ll get ruled against and he’ll have to flip flop again. More hot air. Or maybe he’s just being sarcastic again.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Under Trumpcare, hundreds of thousands are dying.

Poor leadership is the main cause for this coronavirus pandemic being dragged out like this. Hopefully Trump'll lose in November and we'll get some level-headed directions out of the White House.

Poor leadership is the main cause for this coronavirus pandemic being dragged out like this. Hopefully Trump'll lose in November and we'll get some level-headed directions out of the White House.

Well.....the stable genius's current argument is Biden should not be president because he will not get better TV ratings as him!

Trump says a President Biden would get 'no ratings'

https://news.yahoo.com/trump-says-a-president-biden-would-get-no-ratings-144249324.html

Yes, because that's what people want in a president: entertainment. Actually, we'd like informed, compassionate, patriotic leadership.

I pretty sure the trump supporters will start following that same train of thought!

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Mr. Trump doesn't seem to see the problem from the perspective of the average parent. We have a 5yo entering kindergarten this August. Our little late life surprise. The local district is giving us the option of attending in person half day (that's about all a regular kindergarten day is anyway, 6 hours at the most) or distance learning. Neither is ideal for us but at least we are fortunate enough to be able to work from home. Sending him to school is better for us but the thought scares us. If he gets sick and brings something home to us we are older and could become very sick. Both of us have health conditions that make us a bit vulnerable. How would we take care of him were we incapacitated by Covid-19? And what happens if he were to get the awful inflammatory disease that is like Kawasaki disease that seems to be associated with Covid-19 in small kids? We'd never forgive ourselves if he got sick like that because we sent him off to school. The decisions this President so flippantly makes are agonizing for average people to deal with. He seems to have no idea what parents are thinking and just assumes we all want to charge right back out there with our kids into this SARS-Cov2 infested world and carry on as before. No. Not no but heck no.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Hopefully Trump'll lose in November and we'll get some level-headed directions out of the White House.

Yeah, Like Biden, he will fix everything like he has the last 40 years.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

From Biden? The guy who just said we apparently have to get our "kids to market swiftly" by modernizing our infrastructure? hmmm interesting concept.

we'll get some level-headed directions out of the White House.

From Biden? The guy who just said we apparently have to get our "kids to market swiftly" by modernizing our infrastructure? hmmm interesting concept.

trump has a verifiable track record of failure. Fact! We are still living in the trump nightmare.

The country as a whole was better before trump, and it will be much better after his voted out of office in Novemebr!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

now address the Biden statement, without deflection? what did he mean? where is the logic? we are taking our kids to market once he builds some infrastructure. please explain the logic of his statement.

If he cant even speak (with a teleprompter) , how can he solve COVID?

trump has a verifiable track record of failure. Fact! We are still living in the trump nightmare.

Trump has a school aged son and Trump is a resident of Florida. If he feels it is so safe for students to return to school why doesn't he place his son in a school in his home state of Florida?

Still waiting for a Trump supporter to answer....no takers?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

My point being that Trump and his family have no skin in the game. They are all protected and it would be almost impossible for them to catch the virus. Just as I hope no one else will become ill with the virus, I sincerely hope he and his family remain safe. He is willing to gamble with other people's lives, but he would not do that with himself or his own family.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

@lincolnman... that is a good one. It is why so many people have to tell us what he said after he said it. Every time he tweets or says nonsensical things, one or more of his supporters are there to tell you what he 'really' meant. It is proof of the Emperor's New Clothes story fitting him and his supporters so well.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Trump's handling of this COVID-19 pandemic in which thousands upon thousands have died, is in stark contrast to Obama's handling of the Ebola virus epidemic. When the Ebola epidemic became known, Obama quickly dispatched a team to Africa to get a handle of the situation and organized a pandemic response team. In the end, there was only one confirmed case in America. If Trump was in charge back then, Ebola could've been something so much worse. From day one, Trump has downplayed this virus and we must live with his mishandling of this crisis. We need a true leader who will put the health of Americans above his or her own interests. All Trump cares about is his ego and how he will look.
