"Instead of working with the President to pass bipartisan legislation that would actually benefit Americans, Democrats are singularly obsessed with finding something they can use to damage the President politically," they said.

And if he didn't cheat on a regular basis, he'd have no worry.

a subpoena issued by the Democratic chairman of the U.S. House Oversight Committee for information about Trump's personal and business finances

Any Democratic member of Congress aside from Tulsi Gabbard interested in passing new laws? Or improving the economy, perhaps? Maybe handling the immigration crisis?

And who said this about transparency in 2015;

He also phoned in to Greta Van Susteren’s Fox News show, where he repeated the assertion that Obama was “probably the least-transparent president in the history of the country.” The same week, he appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman. The visit—which was covered by the Hollywood Reporter and E! online—included this remarkable exchange:

Letterman: Why do we want to see President Obama’s college records?

Trump: Transparency. Does that makes sense to anybody? Transparency.

Letterman: What does that mean, “transparency”?

Trump: It means there are so many hidden things that we just don’t know about our president.

Trump is too stupid to even know how big a hyocrite he is. And his supporters just turn a blind eye - disgusting...

which offers broad legal protection to members of Congress for actions they undertake as legislators.

One of many possible reasons why some in Congress won't push to have Trump release his tax info. Some in Congress want that 'broad legal protection' to hide their own dirt. Some want to hide the investments they have in corporations that benefit from their political support.

Under Trump big oil and big military have benefitted. It would be good to see how much he and his family have invested in each.

Show your current financial information, Trump! You, too members of Congress.

Of course, Trump sues. He's a total weasel.

But I thought he said he'd be ok with providing them - as 40 years worth of presidential candidates have all done.

Once again, Trump is running a bait and switch on the people of America, and his Trumpets support him on it. Party over people.

One thing I read the other day is that some states have put out a new law that will disallow presidential candidates from running in their state if they have not provided their tax returns to the public. This would mean that Trump could not run his name on the ballot in the next election, if he does not drop his refusal to be transparent to the people, and continues to be a swamper. That's an interesting conundrum for him.

Actually it's more like Trump before country, party, and definitely "the people". He definitely think's he's above the law.

He is above the law. He’s stacked the Justice Department with someone who refuses to prosecute him.

You didn't get the memo, Sorrena. There is no immigration crisis. Trumpophiles actually want to transport undocumented immigrants away from the border and deeper into the homeland at government expense.

He’ll probably win don’t think the Dems will get them, especially now knowing the Democrats are just trying to harass him and especially after Lois Lerner used and weaponized the IRS to take out conservative donors and later pleading the 5th when asked during her deposition in Congress.

And then some conservative will murder a doctor. What does that have to do with this article? Nothing, just like Lois Lerner.

That's just the typical Trumper dodge they use every day here.

Between this article and the one where Trump says "No One Disobey's Me", they are pretty quiet today - I guess even they can't spin what a disaster his past couple days have been...

And then some conservative will murder a doctor.

Or some liberals will try and murder a congressman.

What does that have to do with this article? Nothing, just like Lois Lerner.

Yes, it does, because she took out conservative donors, it will be extremely difficult for the Dems to get his taxes, but yeah, good luck.

That's just the typical Trumper dodge they use every day here.

No, you just want to trump bash and refuse to see the despicable tactics the left use on a sick and daily basis to do whatever they can to dislodge this President from power.

Maybe, they’re working making money or they have to attend to their families that many of us have.

I find it ironic, or simply hypocritical, that the party of government control of the people do not trust that the IRS to properly audit a billionaires tax returns. The very wealthy get special attention due to the complexity of their tax filings. Trump was badgered about his taxes during the campaign and he was elected anyway. If he has done anything wrong the IRS has the power to fine and even imprison him - just like any other citizen.

What I am seeing from the Democrats now is frustration that Mueller let them down and she now they are lashing out. They are also displaying a healthy distrust for government - which strangely never appears during the presidency of a Democrat.

He's doing that himself by directing his staff on 10 occasions to obstruct justice...

Nah, I think they just can't refute any of the bad news...

So lets see the returns, Mr President - you know, "Transparency" - like you demanded to see President Obama's college records...

Mueller indicted seven of Trump's closest associates, proved Russia interfered in our election, caught Trump and his minions in lie and after lie, and showed he intended to obstruct justice at least 10 times....some let down.

He said, No, that’s transparent and abundantly clear.

Mueller indicted seven of Trump's closest associates, proved Russia interfered in our election, caught Trump and his minions in lie and after lie, and showed he intended to obstruct justice at least 10 times....some let down.

But Trump was found not to have colluded with the Russians. Yay, that part is over! The establishment lost.....again....

From my side liberals have nothing worth responding to since Mueller came up empty.

Why did he try and obstruct, though?

“Try and did” are two entirely different things.

Coming from someone who regularly contradicts themself in the same post, I'll take that with a pinch of salt.

Why do you support the criminal in the White House?
