Nice little bombshell here. It should help to turn the screws to the GOP Senators who will vote for their little dictator anyway since they have no spine.

Because apparently that's the big new story here.

Of course it is. Trump has no right to withhold funds approved by Congress. Had he not given them the funds he would have violated the law. His own lawyers told him that.

Unethical and scummy to treat an ally like that, maybe, but not illegal.

Which is impeachable. It's something reserved only for politicians who take an oath and the punishment is removal from office. It was designed specifically for unethical scum.

Well, I'm glad its out - everyone except the Trump cult members knew it was true - Bolton shutting down the meeting where Sondland brought up the QPQ, then directing Hill and Vindmann to go to the follow up meeting to see if it was brought up again - which it was. Then telling them to report it to the NSC lawyers. Then characterizing the whole QPQ as a "drug deal"...

This will do two things; 1) Throw the whole Trump defense team in a panic. They were going to use the "Donnie defense" - the call was "perfect" - then try to make it about Hunter Biden. That strategy is now OBE... 2) All those vulnerable Repubs and even quite a few who aren't are now going to have to think real hard when the witness vote comes up. Are they really going to vote no given this revelation?

And what about Donnie? If they vote to subpoena Bolton and he tries to shut it down by claiming Executive Privilege, are the Senate Repubs going to go along with that blatant a cover-up?

Kim, Xi and the Mullahs should be very worried - Donnie is no doubt melting down and contemplating a "wag the dog" distraction...

Trump cultists believe that it's not wrong for Trump to withhold military aid to a foreign government in exchange for personal campaign help. They also believe that it's not wrong to lie about doing this. Or to obstruct an investigation and threaten potential witnesses.

1) There were no "transcripts" of the call. It was a reconstruction made by the White House.

2) Of course Zelensky isn't going to admit there was pressure. His country continues to need U.S. aid.

3) Any time Trump uses ALL CAPS it's a good sign that the opposite is true.

The big question for the Trump supporters will be; is John Bolton, beloved hero of the right, card-carrying NEOCON, Mr Republican, now a "lying rat" just like Parnas and Furman?

Ok and the problem is? Democrats and the msm are trying to milk a dried leaf, they have no case (as the end of this trial coming to and end very soon) as it stands. And no amount of temper tampering and screaming or repeating the baseless allegations will get that. Because the result is, the Ukrainians DID get the aid they wanted and more, if they didn’t, they’d have somewhat of a case, but as of now, this charade won’t hold up and thank God we can all rest a lot easier as this thing comes to a much needed close.
