Short lived. And now on to the Supreme Court and watch them rule in his favor again.

A three-judge panel on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found the plaintiffs were likely to succeed in their argument that the program, called the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), violated U.S. immigration law and international obligations on the treatment of asylum seekers.

Yep.

The policy was effective at decreasing illegal immigration. So of course activist judges will overrule that. Just temporary decision.

Immigration attorneys rushed to ports of entry

I’m quite sure they did. Time to virtue signal, be part of the “resistance” and use people as political props while making money.

Trump's judges know that constitutional law serves at the pleasure of DJT, as do they.

As if liberals cared about border security. Lol

As if liberals cared about border security. Lol

That assertion is both untrue and irrelevant to my post.

The 9th Circuit can't overturn Mexico law. Those illegal alien staging areas are Mexican policy as well.

The liberal anti Trump anti America 9th Circuit Appeals Court playing their delay games again, this will be appealed and won in the US Supreme Court.

The anger runs strong in this thread.

Congress needs to change current laws to remove the "carrot" for immigrants without any invitation entering the US.

The States need to change the Constitution to remove the anchor baby citizenship rights for non-legal immigrants.

Trump has been completely ineffective at working with Congress on these 2 problems.

As the laws stand today, the liberal Northern CA court is correct with their ruling. US law supports asylum seekers being inside the US. There isn't really any question about that from people who understand the current law. The solution for that is to more quickly refuse/approve asylum requests and to change the policies to prevent non-adult immigrants completely. The USGovt doesn't have any business accepting responsibility for minors. That's what parents are for.
