Just yesterday the headline here was that Japan had recorded its 100,000th case total since the pandemic began. The US is now adding that many in a day.
Very glad to be in Japan right now.
wtfjapan
hold on thought the US was rounding the corner in the pandemic!?
you know record infections are fine when you have herd mentality
wtfjapan
man this is beyond ridiculous, some would prefer to die from recalcitrant pride than admit their approach to this pandemic is wrong and dangerous. her immunity herd mentality herd stupidity call it what you want,
it all results in more dead

It’s going away.
When the weather gets warmer it will disappear.
We have it totally under control.
Hydroxy, what have you got to lose? Take it.
We’re looking into shining light into the body.
Perhaps we could do like a cleansing of the lungs with bleach.
Covid deaths are over counted.
Doctors are falsifying death certificates to get more money.
I’m immune.
You get better (unless you die of course...)
It affects almost no one.
We’re rounding the corner.
Honestly any one of these statements is disqualifying when running for re-election. Taken collectively, they constitute an accurate depiction of Trump as a narcissistic sociopath and a pathological liar to boot.
Bob Fosse
Can’t round the corner when the driver is round the bend.

Trump mentions "the virus from China" but at the same time doesn't want to contemplate the possibilities of an intentional release as it would make the country a victim of his Trade War with China.

end of July:
"More than 4.5 million people in the U.S. have now tested positive for the coronavirus, according to data compiled by NBC News, with 153,250 related deaths."
Yet now double that and how many deaths?
isnt this direct proof of how much better we are doing?
Blacklabel
3 million cases was 130,00 deaths.
So 3 times as many cases now and how many deaths?
Seems New York stopping to put old people with COVID in nursing homes has had a yuuuuge impact.
Blacklabel
projections were 300,000 deaths by Dec 1 and 410,000 deaths by end of the year.
So something that is being done is working as the death rate is obviously slowing considerably.
We wont hear much more about "cases" after the election is over.
Bob Fosse
Yeah. So what is it then? Any guesses or just going back to blaming Cuomo?
I’d give you a few hints but I reckon you can figure it all out by yourself.
Blacklabel
i have shown each 3 million case segment and how each time the death rate has decreased.
despite reopening and gathering together in large crowds for sports, church, Trump rallies, motorcycle rallies and even BLM looting/riots.
only 3 percent of the population has had a case. Compared with more than 20 percent who got H1N1 during Biden time.
if Biden were to become President I wonder what day the media will start counting cases he is responsible for?
Blacklabel
Argentina has been in lockdown for 200 days+.
Higher death percentage than USA.
bass4funk
As if Biden or the Democrats can do better. Their solution is more lockdowns and NO ONE wants that and they want a vaccine not the one that is being developed under this Trump, the Dems and Kamala said they don’t trust it, but they want us to trust their vaccine.
But yeah, that’s the world we live in now, liberal contradictions.
Blacklabel
Yet another plagiarized Biden “plan” that Trump already did.

There are no Dem or Republican vaccines, vaccines don’t have political views. I believe Biden or Harris have said they don’t trust what Trump says about a vaccine, not that they don’t trust the vaccine itself. Given that Trump thinks injecting sunlight into people might be an effective treatment, among many other things, I think their skepticism about anything he says about a medical treatment is well founded.
Bob Fosse
Oh ffs, now you are making a fool of yourself.
Blacklabel
“such as Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.“
isn’t Biden supposedly winning all 5 of these supposed “Republican states”? That would be odd if so. Who runs these 5 states as governor?
Blacklabel
“From April 12, 2009, to April 10, 2010, the virus infected more than 60 million people in the U.S., according to estimates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”
so whet are you disputing exactly?
Bob Fosse
You’ve been told again and again and again that there is no evidence of a coming lockdown and that NOBODY wants this.
Man, will you listen?!
Blacklabel
Politico: Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said he would do "whatever it takes" to combat the spread of coronavirus within the country — including locking down the U.S. if deemed necessary.

we are listening- to Biden.
bass4funk
And the fastest recovery time, and less hospitalization.
bass4funk
No one believes that. Because he said, he would listen to the science and he said, if the scientists suggested more lockdowns, he would.

Bob Fosse
That’s quite a poll you’ve conducted there.
I thought you didn’t trust polls or the NYPost or WSJ but oh wait, you’ve given links to both. Nice!
bass4funk
No, but doesn’t mean I can’t post an alternative point of view.

Looks like Trump's similarly hair-challenged good buddy and mate is going to re-lockdown Britain....
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8898985/Boris-Johnson-announce-national-coronavirus-lockdown-WEEK-save-Christmas.html
What does he know that Trump doesn't?
bob
its alll gonna start to fade away on November 4.
Curious though, that these stories are so fixated on the US when several European countries have higher case counts when you adjust for population.
As always, all culture runs downstream from the United States.

I wish all the pro-Trump COVIDidiots would ditch their "it's just the flu" and it's nothing serious" fairy tales and just read this....
Kate Garraway's husband Derek Draper has spoken for the first time in seven months amid his battle with coronavirus. The former Blair lobbyist, 53, was able to whisper the word 'pain' to his wife, who watched on 'in tears' over FaceTime. He was originally admitted to hospital with COVID-19 symptoms on March 30 and remains seriously ill.

Go attend a Trump rally and you too can spend 7 months in pain in the ICU....hey, that's better than what Herman Cain got for going to the Tulsa rally...
